Something big that should be mentioned is that you should keep in mind this is a process. You won't find success from day 1, it will take time. You will lose A LOT at the start, because your brain is getting used to focusing on the new goals you set for yourself, but it's key to not get discouraged by that. You are learning and it's normal to suck at first. Just gotta keep going and working on those goals before you statt seeing positive results
my friend always cries after 1 lost game about it lmao. i always tell him that its just 1 game, league needs you to play a hundred more. i know a man whos a challenger and top 1 kassadin euw in the past though, he said he boosted some guy to challenger from unranked on a new acc for like 2.5 days. but lol there is a difference between my friend whos gold 1 and always cries about bias in the game and a rank 1 kassadin in europe. so in general the truth is yours ofc
As a personal trainer, this is the sort of things you try to teach people, especially picking up good habits, not expecting instant results, and making small but sure improvements.
like that day i started doing 100 sit ups every day. no matter how hard or detrimental that may be to my "gains" it's about putting in hard work, getting used to it and realizing I'm actively fighting against my goal. I'm putting in the hard part anyways so the rest seems less daunting to be added over time. Suddenly 100 Situps get easy, well might as well add some other excercises when I'm at it anyways. Suddenly I feel repugnant towards eating unhealthy, since I'm struggling so hard with these situps I don't want it to be all for nothing. It's MUCH easier to just sit there and say, well 100 situps every day is not good for me (even though abs are most regenerative muscle we have) and they don't even burn all that much fat anyways, yadda, yadda, you know the drill, 1 solution has 1000 counter arguments waiting to be uttered to yourself. So before I could just talk myself out of it I layed down and just did it. I couldn't even do 20 in a row at first, that's how out of shape I have gotten but I was hellbent on finishing the 100 mark before I stood up no matter how long it would take me. Now I'm incorporating other excercises, like I said, might as well because I'm starting to like this excercising again. Gotta do some back raises at least to help combatant the back pain issue that would come with severely overtraining one side of my body but you know probably better than me. Fitness is a journey and everyone starts out at a different point. And at one point, even the strongest person on earth currently couldn't do a single push up. (Which is objectively true)
This is fascinating because every time I come back to League, it takes me about that long to pick up all my old habits to climb and get back into it. This is actually entertaining and informative, was a pretty fun watch. Subbed.
I have calculated the necessary winrate, which is needed so that the rank does not change, depending on the negative difference of LP-gains and losses. For example: if you get +20 LP on a win and -30 LP on a loss, the win rate "p" needed to NOT change the rank is: 20*p - (1 - p)*30 = 0 20*p - (30 - 30*p) = 0 20*p - 30 + 30*p = 0 50*p - 30 = 0 50*p = 30 | /50 p = 30/50 p = 0,6 So your winrate has to be 60%. This means that with a negative LP ration of |-30/+20| = 1,5 (meaning u lose 1,5 more LP than u gain) a 60% winrate is enough to hold the rank (I only made the transformation so detailed that it is easy to understand) You can swap the "+20" and "-30" for any number and use the formula above to calculate the required win rate. For the nerds: if you model a curve with "p" on the x-axis going from 0 to 1 and "(ratios of LP gains/losses)^(-1)" going from 0 to 1 on the y-axis, you get a falling convex function from the point (0.5|1) to (0.99|0.01). The "(ratios of LP gains/losses)^(-1)"-part simply means: "1,5^(-1) = 0,67" (this is only necessary to get only values between 0 and 1 on that scale) EDIT: this only works, as long as the lost-LP are higher than the gained-LP. The fact that it is a convex function and not a linear one, shows that a Negative LP-gain has less harsh consequences for the win rate than one would think. Even if the effect is rather small. Ye sry, had to get that off my chest haha

50*p = 30 | /50

I only read the title, haven't even watched the video and I dont intent to, guys league elo is useless, as a former semi-pro Master 400lps toplaner who got 2 years of university paid for at 18 I can say league is not a good investment of ur time as a player, wether ur trying to become pro or just for fun, this game only gets worse every season and all patches are made to make the game even more out of balance while they say patches are made to correctly balance the game. Riot only wants u to be as addicted as possible to the game so that u buy more of their shit, getting to a point where videos like this get made, where u are trying to climb whilst not even having fun just to get some LPs which have no real value outside of ur capacity to turn ur elo into an asset that provides money (most inefficient asset i've ever owned). Wake the fuck up this game is a dead end unless u are Literally a T1 player 18 years old with extreme talent, im telling u from experience, take the advice u will regret the amount of time u put into league in the future. ( for context I made another route to make money out of league bc i love the game just hate the company's management and the players in higher elos, a business in Esports, that's kind of what im trying to say, if u are for real trying to makee money out of this game like me, dont become pro, thats the tip)
Realest comment ever LOL
+1 sub
just don't play ADC
🤣
When 'studies' seem to 'discover' what the Church has been teaching for thousands of years 😂😂
They also teach hate 😮
I think this strats are just ways to not play game.
To improve just play a ton.
To improve more, watch you playing and fix mistakes.
To improve even more, watch other players playing matchups you can't win. Champions on your champion pull. Meta champions, etc.
Yet there are lots of people in silver with thousands of games per season. Humans learn best by isolating one thing at a time and working on it. This is how every sport is practiced at a high level.
