Great video. You guys get a lot of blunts down your way. Some real fine points too. Shame about the drills both of them would've been sweet. Stay safe and HH.
Awesome finds! I love those little triangles and that's a nice un! I'm in south central Ky, Bowling Green to be exact. If y'all ever want a buddy to hunt with, give me a holler! Thanks for sharing your finds. Keep on rockin!
I love those Madison's too, lethal weapons, I always said I'd rather be shot with a gun than hit with a Madison arrow, we hope all is well in Bowling Green. Take care Chris.
All is well other than the fact they aren't plowing up any of my fields. I've been hitting the creeks a bit. Not much luck so far. Hope you and Benny are doing good. Keep up the good work!
Well well well. You got Bennie to video a pull. That is so cool. He did pretty good. That Madison is a fine point. I really like the way that base was concave. Was that the blunt field you all told me about? You all found several. I wish those drills would have been whole. That one would have been HUGE !!! Hey Jack, "what was that little eared base point"?With the tip damage. You all had a good day. Im glad to see you all out and about. I tried today. But no success. Just went to look at a creek. Someone told me about. But it was posted. I didn't know who owned the land. So I just went back home. I enjoyed watching two good friends. Doing what they love. It doesn't get any better. Just if I could have shared in the adventure I guess. But is a pleasure to watch you men having fun. I would venture to say its only going to get hotter.lol It supposed to be in the 90's this weekend. Going to be warm at work. I pray that everyone is safe and healthy. I wish you men the best of luck in all you do. Thank you for this video. Made my day. Ill talk to you men soon. P.H.
As many times as that field has been worked it’s amazing that we still find complete points. I think it’s a Brewerton or a variant. We never know what’s gonna be found in that field, everything from lost lakes to three quarter grooved axes, pines, kirks, early archaic stuff and early to late woodland to Mississippian stuff has been found there. Great to hear from you, still waiting on the pine tree video. Hope you and yours are well. Take care.
That material is called Brassfield Chert and is found in outcroppings in Madison Co Ky. I used to get that material confused with Buffalo River Chert which is found in Tennessee. Thank you.
@@actionjacksonartifactsandb877 I have a core in my shed. Thank's for letting me know. I still am not sure about allot of the resourced material's. I find allot of Dover chert here in Tanasi. I have a whole case of tool's made from Dover chert and they all have some of the cortex on them. I find allot of different chert's here.
Wish we could get some rain. Been hot and humid up here to. Y'all scored some nice ones. I realy dig them well made Madison's. Find allot of them around here. Thanks for sharing. Good luck out there.
Man you ain’t lying!!!! That field is loaded with flint!!! Great finds fellas and lots of em!! Guess we’ll be fussing about the heat for a good while now....I think it’s set in!! Thanks for sharing the goods my friend and Bol to y’all!! 👍
Benny just finished setting Tobacco in that field so hopefully we get another good rain so we can look it over again. Great to hear from you and take care.
Great hunt guys, you guys killed it out there that first drill , I find a little of that Spec'ly material here. What was the name of that kind of material. And was that Benny filming out there .Jack thanks for getting him out there and filming what a huge knife he found. Hey you guys can send some of that rain up here in Lafayette Indiana it's so dry the Worse I have every seen it in years. Thanks for sharing and as always keep on rockin Jeff Ricketts jtr arrowhead man.com.
Congratulations on all the finds, it's crazy how many blunts y'all got up that way, my brother and I always called them stunners, we figured if they didn't kill the game maybe it would stun them and knock them out lol, Beautiful Madison shame about the drills, I would have liked to have seen more of that last point broke or not that looked like some Beautiful Material, thanks for sharing GL&HH
I find several "blunts" here in south central Ky as well. Most of them are sharpened on one side with heavy use polish on the other. Probably used as hafted scrapers. Very few are sharpened on both sides without the polish. These might have been used as "stunners" or for small game to keep from shredding the meat.
Nice finds fellas. Wish those drills would have been full. That was a killer Madison. Man the scenery there is pretty . I'm sure the Native Americans must have thought so to . Thanks for sharing and hope you all are doing well . Take care !!!
Great Finds !! Thanks for taking me along !!
Thank you Joe, happy to have you.

I'm in Tennessee and have the same raw material as the point at about 1:04. Nice find's and love that great hill in the back ground.
That material is called Brassfield Chert and is found in outcroppings in Madison Co Ky. I used to get that material confused with Buffalo River Chert which is found in Tennessee. Thank you.

10-4 on that, Benny videoed the last find, I think he was tore up because the tip was broke.
