- This email if for MEDICARE CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH AGENCIES.
Home health agencies are facing another change effective January 1, 2022, the NOA (Notice of Admission).
RAPs will be eliminated, and home health agencies will only need to submit a one-time Notice of Admission (NOA) effective for claims on and after January 1, 2022.
Understanding how this new transition will affect your billing is key!
This webinar will teach you exactly what you need to know to ensure your success with the NOA submissions.

Good information
Thanks for the sharing very important and helpful information.
Thanks so much. I love your videos. Just have one question. Do you know where can I find the electronic specifications to send the NOA electronically.
Are you guys doing home health billing?
Does a discharge date have to be entered if there isnt one at the time of Admission?
Thank you for this!!!! Information like this that’s free is refreshing. I’ve gotten less information from billing seminars worth at least $900!!! A few questions though….
When submitting an NOA manually through FISS, what information is needed to be keyed in for an acceptable NOA aside from what has been mentioned? Do we need a PCP (76) inputted on page 4? Are admission type (14) or source (15) still needed?
Also, when a patient is being transferred to our agency with an existing episode from the current HH, do we still need to put the “47” condition code with the NOA?
Hopefully I could get an answer. Thank you so much again!
Thank you so much..Email me at labarta@imarkbilling.com so that I can answer this in detail. Thanks
