I have been using Zoom effects for literally 20 years. Currently I have two G5s and two G11s. Putting aside the Voltron aesthetic on the G11 for a moment, Zoom did a great job with the interface, but I remain very disappointed by the lack of features it should have for a flagship processor in this price class. For example, I was shocked to find out that the G11 cannot have two amps in parallel in an effects chain. This is something that processors like the Boss GT-100 was able to do 10 years ago. That is a huge issue, especially for the price of the G11. The effects are good, however the amp models do not give the impression that any are superior to the amp models on the older G5. The amp models sound good, but are no better (and even worse in some cases) than the G5's amp models. Also, why did Zoom remove the Z-Pedal? That was a very unique, trademark feature for Zoom processors and I found it to be very useful. Finally, the DSP power on the G11 is not nearly as capable as would be expected on a product like the G11. I do like the G11, but I wish Zoom would support the product better. They introduce innovative products, and shortly after usually just abandon them. You might get one firmware update, and that's it. The G11's latest firmware was introduced nearly three years ago! Come on Zoom, you can do much better.
Zoom effect are my favourite effect.. but technical on live section.. when we handle multiple sections.. I like the Roland (boss) expression pedal assignments super technique..❤
Besides the amp and cab Sim, how many effects can you use? And can you do two amps? About to buy a used Fractal Ax8. I have a Zoom g3nx but need better and real sound quality as I am having to go full digital and no amp. Hope you reply
I am looking for this answer also. Most good multi pedals can do this. Most switch from volume pedal to wah when pressing forward on the pedal to engage the switch underneath.
When i change patch the volume pedal automatically goes to max volume , my setting of my volume pedal is 50minimun and 100maximum. It is possible that when i change patches it will goes to minimum volume?(sorry about my english)
I own a g5n and inside the pedal config you have a parameter that lets you set the starting point of your pedal, and it can be different than minimum and maximum as well. I guess it should be the same or even better in the g11. I hope this helps.

You can use up to 9 effects in a patch along with the amplifier. You can only use 1 amp effect at a time.

In the manual is written that with bta-1 i can remote controll the g11. Can i do the same controll with usb type c port and windows computer?
I can't get more than four effects into a patch before it stops allowing me to add anything.
