      @@thornybackI've found helping them review for exams and quizzes to be a good way to bridge the gap. Offer your notes before they ask for it. I get to review by teaching and they get theirs by listening. Bullies are almost always going through something. It's hard to act tough when you're treated kindly. It might not always work and might not have worked for you. But it's worked often enough for me to keep doing it.

      @@thornybackIn South Asian countries if you are doing good in studies like top 3 then you are cool and if you are good in other things alongwith studies ranking top 3 then you are among thr coolest ones. That's why kids study here bcz if they are physically not good or not good looking then if you are very intelligent, it compensates for all of that.

      Were you in the same classes? Because the smart kids usually have their own separate classes, so you could be a nerd/smart at school without eveyone knowing. Otherwise, you probably weren't as smart as you think. I'd have classes with the kids who were only good at one subject, they'd have general ed rest of their other classes. They'd usually be at the lower end of the class. I was in those smart classes, and buddies with all the thugs at lunch and after school, they didn't care that I was smart and in the advanced classes, just have better friends.

    • @CloudySky-pe2qp
      @CloudySky-pe2qp 3 місяці тому +3

      @@gilbertoflores7397well as they said if they made themselves appear dumber then they actually were how would they get into the classes with smart kids if they weren’t smart. Only they knew how smart they truly were because they didn’t try at school because of their friends. I’ve seen this plenty of times as a prior smart kid who was always paired with the bad kids to help them. There would always be the few who were genuinely extremely smart but clearly didn’t try because of the negative influences of their friends. Being a “teachers pet” or a “goody two shoes” for getting good grades wasn’t ideal for cool kids, skipping was.

    • @gilbertoflores7397
      @gilbertoflores7397 3 місяці тому

      @@CloudySky-pe2qp in what elementary? It's all nonsense, you get segregated into the advanced classes around middle school and into high school. You'll only be around the smart kids then. It's ridiculous to think that a kid who's goofed off for years, can magically catch up with a little bit of effort. Just because you might be naturally athletic doesn't mean your going to make the varsity sports team with a bit of practice, it takes a good work ethic, which that kid doesn't have because they slacked off so much. Sure there are kids who definitely could have been something if they dedicated themselves to it, but that's more like wasted potential rather than hidden genius. More than anything, being smart is about working at it, natural ability only gets you so far, the people who excel at school usually have a good work ethic to go with it, those kids who never studied and still got straight A's usually got a reality check in college when their natural ability couldn't keep up with the amount of effort needed to do well.

    • @ZariDV
      @ZariDV 3 місяці тому

      @@sibusiso2841 I can see what you mean. For me Like That was the bait that Kendrick knew had a 50/50 chance of turning into something. They been doing this back and forth for so long that it might have been nothing again.
      Euphoria was the real first diss track from Kendrick so by then the bait was already taken. He got Drake to respond first which means Kendrick could see his angle first and focus on responding while crafting his own angle.
      I'd say Euphoria was Kendrick playing possum. Drake did his double drop so his ego was up. Starting out slow after getting a back to back would read as weak to Drake and co. But then he started going in in a way that has Kendrick pretending to be coy and playful while letting off warning shots and outlining the strategy/playbook. It was a mixed bag that aged better and better the more time went on and the playbook played out as predicted.

      @@RippingxGoldJamthat’s not what he’s saying tho he saying that he didn’t work hard in school even though he knew he could because of the influences around him and that he knew not to make that same mistake with music

      @@Yahiiraszn Yeah but what I’m trying to say is him saying he could’ve done better in school, but didn’t, simply because he chose not to (since he wanted to keep a “cool” status) isn’t exactly humble and if anything would be the opposite of humble. So It makes no sense as to why people are saying that he is so humble under this specific post where he is acting the opposite of humble.

    • @RippingxGoldJam
      @RippingxGoldJam 3 місяці тому +1

      @@Yahiiraszn Also, that is literally what he is saying. He is saying that he was smart enough in school to do a lot better than what he actually did, but he didn’t try in school so that he doesn’t seem as smart to his peers. I don’t see anything wrong with saying that, for he is just telling us a fact about himself. However, what I am confused about is why are a lot of the comments under the post saying he is so humble for saying this, even though what he said is literally the opposite of humble.

    Kendrick is a once in a generation type of Artist.
    He plays an extremely long ball in the game and somehow is always there in the exact right place to collect it and touchdown.
    His planning and options in his plans must be intricate as heck.
    Like if A doesn't happen then switch to B or failing that turn A and B inside out and get a CD option

    My problem is I couldn't tone it down, I was trying too hard to excel which always backed me up so I was behind on shit that I didn't even know we had due because I was working too hard on other assignments.. I mentally, subconsciously couldn't put less effort in and pass with C's or B's even tho that's what I wanted to do in my present mind. Now I work on then pen and try to study all kinds of music, it's something that's worth putting that much effort into because I don't have a deadline on my creativity.
