My wife, Avenasa, was a zoologist in her first career. She went to the Galopagos Islands on an expedition years ago and was amazed by them. At the time, the Marine iguanas were having issues and the population was dropping though they've since recovered, but I can't recall the problems they were suffering from. She's traveled much of the globe studying animal's habitats to recreate them in the zoos she worked with. She's got some incredible stories from that time in her life. Great video here. Thanks for uploading this!
My favorite series by far is Savage Kingdom and Lord Tywin Lannister is the best storyteller in the business...ever. People think they just collect random animal footage and make up stories but they are pretty accurate with what is going on. They follow these animals so closely for months, sometimes years that almost all of their information is true. What an amazing first hand experience of survival of the fittest in the wildest continents. Thank you Nat Geo and the teams that support your channel, they have dedicated so much of their lives to bringing these true survival stories to all of us. Such a commitment that I am so grateful for.😍
I’ve watched Savage Kingdom several times (on Disney + is best due to zero ads). It is awesome, however, the narrator is listed as Charles Dance, correct?
Wildlife has many wonders. The life and existence of animals is full of surprises and unknowns. The life of animals has always been important to humans, their study, survival, hunting, and even extinction of species. Your film was very beautiful with new images and complete explanations. Thank you.
The true beauty of the animal kingdom lies not only in its rich diversity of species but also in the intricate complexity of their ecological relationships. Each species plays a vital role, contributing to a vibrant and colorful tapestry that nature has masterfully woven.
Thanks to the wonderful footage in this video, I truly feel the majestic and vivid beauty of the wildlife world. Each scene seems to bring the breath of nature, reviving in me the passion for exploring and loving the natural habitat. Thank you Nat Geo WILD channel for providing these wonderful experiences and invaluable knowledge!
great video, really enjoyed the visuals and all the interesting info! but honestly, i feel like the focus on the deadliest creatures can overshadow the importance of conservation. yes, they’re fascinating, but shouldn’t we be talking more about protecting their habitats instead of just showcasing their danger? just a thought!
35:35 I couldn’t agree more! Cheetahs are absolutely breathtaking - their grace, speed, and beauty are mesmerizing. It’s amazing to feel that connection to such incredible creatures! 🐆✨
Tigers are the one cat that is the most intimidating of all, the cunning, the needle claws and crushing fangs with huge chest muscles make them the most lethal and the most beautiful, it's mesmerizing to look at them
As my words make their way across the internet, they might get lost in the flood of information that fills our screens. But if they've found you, they're carrying a message made especially for you. Here's a heartening thought - you've got the power to sail through any challenge life throws at you.

What aspect of cheetahs fascinates you the most their speed, agility, or something else?
@ many aspects including speeding, beauty, family bond, and the fact that they don’t attack human.

An integral part of the hunting process is the lion's patience and perseverance in waiting for the opportunity.
