@20:20 that sequence of the first lion stepping off the rock thinking the water was more shallow, then the next lion recognizing that, setting up for a jump, and roaring to psyche himself up was pretty cool 😂
Wonderful documentary !! We saw a lot of the Rongai pride when we visited the Mara in February 2024. Sadly this was right after Olobor was killed due to human conflict. We had the privilege of watching the Rongai hunt a buffalo. We only saw Lorkulup as he tends to stay with the pride while his brothers are patrolling.
says Ep. 1, so are there or will there be more episodes?? Just curious. Absolutely loved this one. Have watched many documentaries on these beautiful brothers, but had never seen this one, so thank you! Hope there will be more episodes about them.
The savanna scene and the life of lions are recorded so vividly! Watching it, you can feel both the power and harshness of the wild world. Truly fascinating and meaningful! 🦁
"Absolutely breathtaking! The stunning 4K footage of the regal lions in the savannah is truly mesmerizing. This documentary not only captures the majesty of lions - the 'kings of the grasslands' - but also provides an insightful look into their lives and incredible survival instincts. Every roar and every step embodies their power and wild beauty. This is a must-watch for anyone who loves wildlife and the wonders of nature!"
There was some great footage I had not seen before some of it is misinformed, but overall great documentary looking forward to seeing the next adventures and your video. Olobor & Oloshipa were loved by some many people around the world. When the Maasai people murdered Olobor, they fu@ked up, because now, all eyes or on them from around the world. It truly changed my attitude towards them. I still love lions with all my heart, but his death changed me and the way I continue to stay close to watching them grow. @@DebbieMurray-k7i oh I see…then who was the female in relation to him? She *HAD* in fact been a member of his pride though, right? That part was really brutal to watch 😔
A big Thank You for an in depth story of the Big Cats!!.. Thoroughly enjoyed this way!!.. 10 out 10 for the narration!!.. Thank You to all involved for this production!!.. Kevin.. 🙂
What a beautifully produced documentary! The visuals are stunning and really bring the savannah to life. However, I can't help but think that the portrayal of Lions as the ultimate "kings" oversimplifies their role in the ecosystem. They're powerful, but it's essential to remember that every animal plays a crucial part in maintaining balance. Just because they're at the top of the food chain doesn't mean they're the only important players.
I love how they name the lions . Their names are also well chosen with the meaning to it . All this time in the documentary I only saw four lions where is 5th brother .
So we have one with lame foot, one with broken nose, and one with antisocial personality disorder. Definitely not the mopogos but special in their own right.❤😊
what a beautifully shot documentary! I really love how it captures the majesty of lions in such detail. that said, I can't help but wonder if the portrayal of lions as "kings" is a bit misleading. they're not just powerful predators; they also face serious challenges in the wild, like habitat loss and human conflict. what do you all think?
Lion documentaries are the best, plus to see what these powerful as well as majestic animals do behind the scenes is incredible and amazing, i love how my favourite animal is very open armed as well as warm-hearted to let the documentary filmmakers flim them as well their families. Plus the quality of this documentary is fantastic plus is also very cinematic keep it up as well as I'll be looking forward to more lion documentaries from you guys in the future.
The extent that some social animals will go to to protect the weak old or injured is extraordinary. Whether shown in buffalo, lion, wild dogs or humans, therinlies the fascinating extents of the difference between "wild" and something potentially transcendent.
