I like to think Johnathon Davis is in this song as a symbolism for passing the torch on from one generation of music to the next. It’s really cool.

The bass line at the start is definitely a Korn bass line. Definitely Avatar vibes and Priest with some of the vocals. Also, at the end the crown is passed over from Kim of old to new. So is this more of what to expect going forward? His originality for all his songs and how they mix together so far have been a real eye opener and definitely I’m here for it.

What you're hearing is not avatar, he's paying homage to King Diamond brother. Every single song he does, whatever genre he puts in the song he pays homage to the band or artist who inspired him. I definitely hear King Diamond's style in those vocals. I grew up listening to him.....legend. I'm so impressed that Kim can hit those notes. I love Kim's new album. It's a masterpiece and I listen to it from beginning to end which is how I listen to all concept albums. I think Kim is an amazing artist and a musical genius.

That's an insult to Kim, I'd say. Their vocal range, and sporadic change of genres is more in line with Mike Patton and Mr Bungle.
