- I visited Connought place in New Delhi to see what a shoecleaner can do in this area of India. After 5 mins of walking around i was able to find a man who was able to clean my shoes. He was super nice and offered me an honest, genuine reward so I gave him a good tip in return for his honour and kindness.

Hey Harry..just one request..let the person know that you are giving him extra money because he did not try to over charge you for being a tourist otherwise he would assume foreigners pay more and start demanding extra from tourists..if he knows why he got the tip he would always be honest..

It was done mainly for an eye-catching video thumbnail, but Harry is even otherwise a great guy. Perfect world traveller material, as at the end of the day, you are travelling to have a nice time, no point being critical or negative.

@@harryjaggardtravel(Long reply) Nice shoeshiner and honest. I got overcharged once in Medellin, Colombia 🇨🇴 at Berrio Park for a shoeshine. It was similar to your $20 buck overcharge. I was not going to pay the dude but two other guys quickly showed up behind the dude who were there to intimidate anyone who refused. I wasn't intimidated but preferred the Ahimsa (non-violent way) of India 🇮🇳. As people say in Colombia "No De Papaya!" It means don't expose yourself to being scammed, robbed or beat up. Gotta be careful with lots of scammers around the world who are usually found at very touristy areas. When you do visit Varanasi, do not shake 🤝 hands with people in the ghats areas because some will try to give you a hand massage or more and charge you an outrageous price. One guy used the same tactic on me as in the Medellin shoeshine incident. He asked for 2000 rupees after two minutes into it for him and his two cohorts and I refused. I gave them 200 just to call it even. I knew better but thought maybe this dude is cool. Mist people I met in India were cool 😎👍🏻.

Harry just one suggestion take a metro in Delhi it will be a thrilling experience for you and if want a suggestion of spot you can visit Cyber City, 32nd Avenue, Akshardham Temple, Lodi Garden (it's really pretty right now as a lot of flowers there are blooming), etc. But take Delhi Metro for sure it will not disappoint you I assure ! And your videos are like a vibe thanks doing bring peace to my mind ♥️
