I hate and love at the same time what they did with this character, his death is like super important cause he is a component for Lord English and also i loved every single moment of Arquius but It doesnt feel the same cause i wanted equius to be treated like a proper character which DOES things and evolves as time goes on. Him and also basically every other troll aside them 5 fuckers that got the 3 years Journey Relevance treatment
@@Giammeh The longer I ponder it, the more I wonder if Hussie was being MERCIFUL in killing Equius off when they did because if Equius survived, completed the mission, and with Nepeta got added to the Meteor Gang and got some more character development, then that would make his sacrifice during The Masterpiece even more heartwrenching. More to the point, if Equius' death and reunions with different reincarnations of Nepeta as Arquiussprite made you sob your eyes out, then you'd probably have to invest in a good therapist and amazing flood insurance for the non-existent arc I described.
I know equius is hussie and fandom’s punching bag, but I love him. Yes he is kind of a blood racist asshole, but he along with feferi are to only highblood trolls who never maime or kill others and despite all his back talking to karkat, he still respects and listens to karkat.
