(I significantly edited/enhanced the audio & video for better ASMR effect).
I love medieval weapons, so really found this interesting (and the voice to be relaxing, too:) especially liked the second part where he explains the sword in more detail - give it a chance!
I don't think I've ever been this calm in my life. Envious.
Check out "Shi's Cooking ASMR" ! She has a unique style and very small sub count. Good choice for this video! His accent is 😁✔
The met in nyc will make you shit your pants
Problem is, I too love old weapons but I'm also an archeologist. And this blade he did it is as far from the real thing (gladio) as it can get. Mirror finish(technical term) was last insult to historicity.
4-point pommel is also an abomination
@@yanikkunitsin1466 Interesting, his website often mentions a particular sword is based on an original in The British Museum for example and that was attractive to me. An an archeologist, do you have any resources to suggest for bronze age swords, or maybe bronze age in general?
how bizzah your all watching a sword vid to listen to my voice , hope to d a few more swords vids in the coming months :-)
Not just your voice good sir - but your passion, knowledge, and calm demeanor!
You’re cool as heck. Also soothing. Win win.
I never realized how beautiful bronze blades are. You only get to see them all black and sad looking.
bizzah he says.
Should've done radio
I've never seen a clean bronze sword in my life and I must say it looks gorgeous
True, there’s this uniform yet almost liquid looking design. It’s kind of familiar, like I’d see something similar in a fantasy video game or movie.
@@theheroneededwillette6964 No wonder there was a whole Era around that material. I mean look at how it shines lol
Imagine what bronze armor would have looked back in the days.
@@icocolate1880 I can just imagine that alone would have made quite the way of showing authority and generally making themselves look impressive.
I was thinking the same, it looks beautiful
Bronze is very sharp but quite brittle after time
to be honest, i think that the (unintentional) ASMR involving all kinds of blacksmiths, craftsmen and so on is always the best ASMR.
Honestly?
Skallagrim is a decent guy. You should check out his stuff
I will thanks:)
@madtwitchy same!
@madtwitchy Same.
@@BestUnintentionalASMR Skall is more sword fighting weapon reviewer type channel but his way of speaking is quite calm and knifes reviews are nice
@@morbid1. Skallagrims shopkeeper roleplay videos are ASMR fuel
"Shields were never meant to be triangular."
DEAD
The swordsmith is called Neil burridge.
There are a few more videos of him on yt such as smelting tin and building a roundhouse with modern materials.
well spotted just filmed 2 vids and three weeks time will be up loaded
I have absolutely no need for a sword, but now I want one.
The sheild and spear are so high quality I thought they were edited into the thumbnail😂
As a metalworker I was unable to sleep due to fascination
How the hell am I supposed to fall asleep to this when its so god damn interesting. 🤨🤨🤨
I've had that video saved on a personal playlist for like 3 years, now it's on unintentional asmr. Pretty poggers
I was extremely disappointed when I checked out his channel and saw that he only ever uploaded 1 video. :/
I think there’s a few more videos of him, his name is Neil Burridge
life can be difficult i am not a child of the digital tech age but i will make some films in a short while
@@BronzeAgeSwords Please do Mr Burridge, your knowledge is invaluable!
@@BronzeAgeSwords I would love to see more videos from you! The bronze age things you make are gorgeous.
Yeah, Skallagrim mentions!
This sword is a thing of beauty
Videos like this just keeps me awake. Great knowledge there!
This is fab, thanks for finding ⚔️
This is nice. :) I like that Skallagrim was involved.
Skall mentioned in unintentional ASMR? World's collide.
love it keep finding this lovely ASMR
He has another very relaxing video where he explains how he built a hut! You should check it out
I'm glad I'm not the only one who got asmr out of this guy
The guy he mentions skallagrim is AWESOME!!! Yall need to check out his channel if you are interested in this type of thing at all
Ohmygod. That’s a swordsepcion. Am subbed to Skal (dont know if I’ve seen that video with kopesh tho). And now an ASMR channel I’m subbed for posts a video of a maker of a sword that the first channel I’m subbed for made
_ASwordMRsepcion_
P. S. I know this comment might be hard to read, sor
Loooooooved this
I wanted to sleep, but this is too interesting
About time this video was featured!
I watch skallagrim each day....its awesome he gotta shout out
Its mandatory as a swordsmith that he has ponyfail on the back of his head.
I wonder why it is that so many swordsmiths and craftsmen have that hair style?
I love bronze age stuff. Stumbled across this guy a while back while doing research on the bronze age for my book. I come back to his video a lot. There's another one of him talking about ancient roundhouses here: ua-cam.com/video/sxMaIjmcGd8/v-deo.html
Guga hunters of Ness music, nice 👍
thats how i met them Dead rats
I have a question, how would I submit a suggested video for you to check out, and if it qualifies as unintentional asmr?
I came here for the ASMR, and stay for the historical knowledge!
Swinging by the comment section to say this is one of the best underrated asmr channels i know, keep it up! (please!)
How do you find these?!
Tried to fall asleep to this but it was too interesting
I was wondering if Neil would make it on here!
Yo is he talking about skallgrim love that guy
I have suddenly developed an interest in hoplology
How do you find these videos?
Yes
I agree
4:43 I want to believe
1:46 nah, that’s Sting from lord of the rings
Really curious what he would sell these for... Certainly going to be a premium. Beautiful craftwork.
Wreck It Ralph has changed a lot
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought bronze blades were simply face-hardened by hitting the edge with a hammer before sharpening and polishing it.
He sounds like Korg.
What's his channel
Amazing 😍 ✨😀😴😴😴😴✨❤🧡💛💚💙💜💖
Swords and asmr?!?
He looks like an old Alex Horne 😂
“I beat him to death with his own shoes....”
no wonder they loved bronze era, those swords look like made of gold...
If you press 2 on your keyboard it sounds like he says fuck
My fat ass thought that shield was made of chocolate 😂
Is that a Navy sword for war?
oh hey, a video ive seen on my own!
russel brand voice
He sounds like the teacher from willy wanka and the chocolate factory
People must have had small hands in 1000bc
I wish someone gave me money and or swords to test so I could be famous. lol This world..
Anyone else taken slightly aback by the curled ponytail that popped into sight when he first turned his head?
When you connect things from different videos you watch, you get a strange feeling. I was watching asmr, and then another UA-camr in a completely different genre I watch was mentioned. Skallagrim. So odd.
Second
but this isnt a customer support asmr
