      If you become really good at one instrument and actually learn some decent theory, it then just becomes transporting those notes to a different medium. If you solo with what's in your head then it's easier, but if you play an instrument via visual patterns only then it will take longer to convert it to another.

      I have one of their $500 guitars (with pickup). It's been mistreated a lot, used at the campfire and such, I was always more into the piano otherwise I would have give it more love. It's still perfectly in tune whenever I pick it up. My friend has a guitar worth the same as my car. He finds it strange as well that it still sounds good.
      I had a Motif XS 8. Also quite well built, although I'm more into Nords now. Hope they wont fail me.. Nord Grand sounds unparalleled. All I need now is a sprinkling of Jacob's skill. What's that? Not possible? "Doesn't work like that" ?? :(

    It’s weird being a percussionist and hearing him on drums. I think “ok that’s not very impressive. Nothing exciting” but that’s because I have experience in that field. When it came to piano and his chord structures he decided to play it just blew my mind but I know people who can do that any day. Lol he really is an over all great musician.

    • @ExtergeoDesigns
      @ExtergeoDesigns 6 років тому +30

      I completely agree with you for most of the instruments, but I am really rather confident that you know no one that can play the piano like he does. Unless you know some absolutely top pianists.

    • @maverickkajita7824
      @maverickkajita7824 6 років тому +63

      Megult well I agree what your going with but he’s not the best pianist by a mile. On the other hand though I think his understanding of musical theory and chord structure is one of a kind. His ideas that he throws out about different non chordal tones and his transfers is what gives him his signature feel. He’s not the greatest pianist but he has the ability to teach even the most skilled musician something new and amazing!

    • @AwesomeMan2696
      @AwesomeMan2696 6 років тому +4

      I'm not claiming he is the best pianist, just that he is extremely skilled and most importantly incredibly knowledgeable. He is one of the best pianists in our generation no doubt. Not in the sense that he is the most technical, but when you look at the total package there is not a lot that can compare.
