- This one has been on the shelf for over a year. I picked it up on eBay as somewhat of an impulse buy. Surprising I know. Anyways let's see if it actually runs.

Merry Christmas to you and yours Shane and have a Happy New Year as well. Shout out to my family and friends in Richardson and Coppell.
Merry Christmas!! I used to live right over by Coppell, in Lewisville.
Merry Christmas Shane. I love how well my Intermountain units run. And yes, they are still very much in business. I have a Southern FT set pre-ordered.
Good to know. I have seen some recent-ish releases but had read somewhere last year that they had been bought. But I may have got them confused with Fox Valley.
Shane, I think you may have. Fox Valley was purchased last year by Scale Trains.
Merry Christmas to you as well
Excellent presentation my friend 👍😎😊
Thanks Dave!
Happy Holidays Shane! I love the SD40-2 myself. Handsome model as well! The mirriors on the side are the rear view miriors that help guide the engineer when he runs the unit in reverse. Just like rear view miriors on a car! Love inter mountain models!!!!! my SD40T-2 is by them and its a solid runner and the detail is great. They are a company that is not mentioned often! Keep these models coming !!!
I think I own more Intermountain SD40-2's than I do Kato, lol. I agree they are great! Thanks for stopping by, Pat!
Oh anytime! @@Trains-With-Shane
Merry Christmas
Thank you, Steve. Merry Christmas to you as well. Have a happy and safe new year!
Hi Shane , that’s a good looking locomotive. I have some SD40-2s in the NS preorder from Intermountain . Should arrive spring of 24 . Thanks for sharing . Merry Christmas to you and family, and Happy New Year. 😎😎 👍
Thanks Tommy! I'd probably pick up a few more of these if I could find them reasonably. I'm always on the look out.
Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas to you!
I’ve been trying to find the Tarantula and Butch Cassidy variants of this railroad in N scale. Wish I knew where to find them
This was a lucky find for sure. As an aside I rode the Tarantula line back in 1992 as part of a school field trip. Was the best field trip ever. I think I still have my punched ticket somewhere.
Highly detailed
Intermountain units are very detailed for the price.
MERRY MERRY and a HO HO HO!
(... then shrink it to N N N ...wha hah hah!)
LOL I think that joke deserves lumps of coal! Merry Christmas Owen!
