Tried 1 for the first time this past weekend. Caught an 8, 6, and a 5 on it. First time throwing any kind of swim bait of that size. Awesome bait!
Buy the shallow sinks and just add clip on weights to the bottom treble hook hanger if need to make it a fast sink or adjust. Or a split ring and add on drop shot weights to it easy.
I love watching your videos. I got the 4K shad. to your videos I will be getting six heater series rods, and the swim bait rod will be one of them, but I’m gonna pair them with the diawa Tula reels.
Niccce! Thanks for riding with me dude.
A comparison vid between these and the magdraft would be fire
My dude do you have any recommendations on tackle boxes for skirted jigs, hard swimbaits and spinnerbaits?
Another banger video highlighting the new 6th gear. My favorite has to be something in ghost coloring, the translucent colors are my jam. I don't have a setup to throw 2.5+ ounce swimbaits yet.
I've been looking at picking up a 200 sized reel, like a Curado or Tatula. Currently only have 100 sized casting reels and not feeling too trustworthy a 100 size will hold up.
Damnn need some ive been on a whale bite these would be killer!!!🔥 Nice video Justin 🎣🎣
I love everything that you push man. You truly carry team 6. The only thing that hurts is I have had two heater series rods break on me just casting. I hope they can update your blanks and give you the rod that you deserve. It scares me to buy heater rod right now. JR10 for the win all day. Keep working hard man you deserve it.
Well dang dude! I hate to hear this. 6th Sense has an awesome warranty. And will take care of you no questions asked. Just be sure to register your rod upon purchasing. I’ve only ever broken one Heater series. But I understand the apprehension if you’ve gone through two. Sorry to hear that. But thank you so much for the JR10 support and your support of the channel. Much appreciated.
Hey man! So I needed this…. I didn’t pull the trigger on a hangover because I truly didn’t know if I had a rod that could do it but you mentioning the 7’5 heavy which is my favorite and that it can it’s game on now
I got the bar fish gizzard flake and 4K bluegill all in medium sink
Do you know when the Congo craw will be released
Got my 3 hangovers in as well. Cant wait to get out there and try them. Also ordered the 97DDs today with some tinsel jigs as well. Cant wait!! gonna be a great winter and spring!!! #JR10fortheW
Please make these 97x and DD in Ghost pro shad, shad burst, jaint juice, heater shad and perch, threadfin colorways.
What is the best set up for swim bait rod and reel Still trying to get the set up right And do you use monofilament or braid on the reel I appreciate it
20-25lb fluorocarbon and the answers to your other question are in the video! Keep watching. 🙏🏼👊🏼
I’m looking to put together a rig setup for hangover/draw and possibly the trace and another for crankbaits and jerks. Any suggestions on rod/reel combos?
I got you. Here’s what I would do:
Draw & Hangover = 7.8 Xtra Heavy Heater or Broomstick
Small cranks and jerkbaits without a doubt and it’s not even close because I designed this rod for those baits = 6.9 Medium, Moderate Heater Series. That is my favorite rod and the one I use the most on my boat and it is dialed for those applications.
Hope this helps. JR10 = 10% OFF when you order direct from the 6th Sense site.

@@JustinRoyal thanks!! I’m gonna snag those and find a couple reels to pair them with
@@JustinRoyal recommendations for reels for these setups? I usually go Shimano, lews, or abu Garcia. Moneyisnt really an issue. 270$ each would be ideal
Just a reminder that the split ring is put in there for if you want to rig the treble on the bottom it’s best to not use it and tie directly to the hook if you are using it up top. Of course everyone is different and you can always play around and rig it however you want I just know that from watching milliken fish it. Love you videos bro and just used your code JR10 for my order of the new 97 size provokes and my 55 size dukes I screen shot the orders but I forget what you said to do with them for a shout-out lol no worries though thank you for giving us a discount on the best tackle in the game and all you do brother
DM the screenshot to @thejustinroyal on IG if you can!
Love the channel Justin. 6th sense rocks 🤟🤟
Is there any plans you know of for 6th sense to make a little smaller version, for us inshore saltwater guys?
Like they did with the panarama
We just got a restock of some!
LPT in the building!
Not gonna lie, not big on unboxing videos unless it’s an unboxing is being done by a main influencer like yourself. Looking good man, keep up the hard work 🤙🏽
Well thank you bro
Looking forward to using that extra heavy rod 🤘
I have a 8ft Medium/heavy rod would that be ok to throw the hangover on? On any swimbait in general?
Just for perspective, I throw all my line throughs, chad shads and paperweights on a Ghost Code 7’10”MH (mod fast) SB rod rated 1-4oz. Remember, IT IS a treble hook bait, so you don’t need to drive anything home, more important to keep em buttoned. Yes, you can use a fast rod, but you may run the risk of losing a fish if you don’t have it bend deeper into the blank. Watch Millikens rod flex deep. Also, if you choose a rod that’s not rated for a 3oz bait, you run the risk of breaking your tip on a cast. I’m not trying to be “that guy”, just saw you had a question and I’m a 75% big bait guy. Hope this helps.
@@CA-sl2xw yes it helped big time I appreciate it and if I could ask you about your thoughts on swimglide baits in the 9-12oz range
@@UnknownNorcalAngler
Do you mean 9-12”?
9-12oz, is bigger than anything I throw. My biggest glide is a 6oz DEPS 250, even a Klash9 is only 4oz. I throw everything 3oz plus on a KGB 7’-11” XH (3-7oz) rated. It’s a bad ass moderate XH rod that bends to the reel seat on a big striper.
@@CA-sl2xw yes sorry new to the swimbait game and the rod I have know I can only throw baits up to 7 ounces
Beautiful baits , like most of their stuff. All the sink rate stuff just twists my monkey melon.
I was literally watching tutorials for this knot right before this 😂
How’s the Diawa that you bought ? Is it holding up ?
I don’t like it
Is that a Duby swimbait on that 7' 11" with the Shimano?
Yes
Badass show! Thanks man!
Glad you enjoyed it!
How about the Response 7’6” heavy rod?
Yes
Just a question. Is there a reason you don’t really use spinning rods or do you just not favor em? Lol
For big swimbaits? They’re not designed for that. The Heater Series Spinning Rod is the latest addition to he Heater Series lineup. And I love it. So I do use them. Drop shots. Finesse applications. When the bite gets tough. Etc.
❤let's goooo
Hey Bro!
🤘🤘
👊💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sorry but this bait is garbage. I have 7 of them and to be honest I don't think I will buy another 6th Sense bait.
