In fact, she was so young, that they offered her the song How Do I Live (Without You), which she DID cut, but the Disney executives didn't think anyone would believe that someone of that age could possibly convince people it was genuine ... that she was mature enough, so they then gave it to Trisha Yearwood. However, due to the songwriter's insistence, both versions were released to radio on May 23, 1997, and though Trisha's version reached #2 and LeAnn's only #7, and both versions are good, I really feel Trish's was NOT as good. I think that the reason for the different chart positions had a LOT to do with them pushing Trisha's harder as well as it being featured in the Nicholas Cage film, Con Air.
