It's not possible to divide it three equal parts with this method. The video is not correct. Please check the wikipedia for this very interesting and surprising area of math.
You can't trisect any arbitrary angle. It works in the case of 90 degrees coz you are able to construct two 60 degree angles, which makes the complementary angle measure 30 degrees.
These trisection methods come close, but they're not perfect. Angle trisection with the straightedge and compass was proven to be impossible quite a while ago.

Trisection of angle is not possible with straitage and compass. This was already Proven.
