The bike paths overseas are a dream. Must be nice to be able to cross the city in one continuous lane.
yes like spider webs connecting the city
Cameraman is pretty skilled, recording while doing downstairs like it was nothing
I agree! Can't believe how well he keeps me in frame.
@@ZenLee Get your cameraman a dji pocket 3!
Thank you for covering these details!
I love how an EUC is like the platonic ideal of transportation. They really are as simple as a motor vehicle can get.
that thing looks so buttery smooth I can get the hype, looks effortless! damn
Buttery smooth is the right expression
Great review and looking forward to get some funds saved up after the holidays. Still have the Inmotion V12 and loving it, suspension wheel would be nice.
Seen someone out in Oakland this morning haulin on an EX30 with no gear, to each his own I guess but best to keep it safe.
Yes, I need my gear. If i get hurt, I can't ride and that is more painful than any physical injury. Gear has saved me many times, and most recently last night.
Valencia is beautiful, love it! Audio good.
Thanks!
You met the only v11 EUC owner in Spain who isn't into the culture. Lol !
Keep up the fun videos.
More to come!
Cudos to the cameraman, unbelievable skills and shooting. Might be able to meet up in Spain. When is the races?. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Race championship, will start in March and end July (I think Xelectrics. Com)
I love this wheel man my budy is loving his lynx i get to see it on friday, but im more waiting for that comander gt pro i am 100% sure its gonna be insanely fast compared to any other wheel begode and extreme bull never disapoints in raw performance. 168v overkill !! Cant wait!!. Saludos desde Puerto Rico.
Yes, the GT Pro might be next level!
OH YEAHHHHHHHH
They just need to unlock the speed cap on the lynx then it would compete with the GT
That is one hot wheel right there! great video!
Thanks, much appreciated mostly a GREAT wheel.
That scooter guy.. this wheel looks amazing
Tis amazing!
Great video. You really gave the Lynx a good workout. Appreciate you clearly pointing out the negatives, all seem pretty minor. I'm getting one.
Glad it was helpful!
There's a cool video of some dudes who wire in a switch on the hall sensor and then they shut down the hall sensor connection while going 25 miles an hour and the Lynx simply beeps and beeps and slows down until about 3 miles an hour. Pretty cool to know that!
I can’t wait until you do the comparison between the lynx and the commander Gt pro.
Let Begode know✌️🤙
That acceleration looks great!
Its a rush!
Alien rides actually did pay for me to ship my wheel back across the country, however my wheel died like 3km in so might have just been a qa issue. It works fine now tho
glad you're taken care of and still riding
My S22 was still under warranty and Eevee's also cover the entire cost including shipping for the Stator pin/Battery replacement 💪
Great job Eevees!
just might be my first EUC wheel. 70lbs. Thanks!
Good choice!
@@ZenLee Really?! !For a complete newbie its a good start? I am also in similar situation (1hour experience on v5) but the EUC group here dont recommend going for a heavy wheel to start with, rather a v11y.
@@cotonynaki800its a tough question that requires lots of thought. Sure its better to go for an intermediate EUC like a V11, S16, S19 or something similar, but how fast will you grow out of it, and what are your goals with riding.
Great video, agreed with the kick stand being a bit long and stand in the way for big stairs or drops;
Kudos to the video guy. did a perfect shots.
Appreciate the content. Be safe!🤙
best city ever...i remember the little streams in the park ...beautiful!!!...getting kenda road tyre...dont fancy that cst knobbly
its a better option for sure
I believe this will be my next wheel. The commander Gt pro will most likely be heavier making it slightly less nimble. That is my determining factor.
Being the same frame as the mini and the GT but being 168v and 3000wh I'm leaning on the GT Pro being around 105-110lbs vs the lynx's 90lbs.
I just learned to ride a EUC maybe 5 months ago, my first wheel ended up being the KS22 Eagle, because it was on a nice sale. I am still loving my wheel but waiting and looking for my upgrade wheel. I want both range and power lol. I rode the patton and for me it just felt a bit squirrly, it would wobble when I was stopping. It was a loaner but the wheel wasn't for me, I did enjoy riding it. Someone let me try their sheron, I got on it, but it just felt too big for me. Maybe I need more time on it, don't know. However instantly like the shermon, oddly I rode the V13 once and it felt so nice, more easier to control than the sherman (for me).
The lynx looks good but the price, dam! For me it's not something I want just for more power, without the range I rather kust keep enjoying my S22.
Path looks like a good ride
Shout out to the cameraman. Nice job brother!!
I like how the Scooter dude was so jealous, he tried to clip your ride short
I didn't notice, we had one scooter duo kick Pysco(the camera man) and he easily chased them down and gave them a punch on the chin.
What in the world would possess a person to kick someone for absolutely no reason at all? I seen a video where a biker kicked a guy off his onewheel. Despicable people.
Thanks Zen. Im holding out for the 168v Commander GT. I just like the ride feel of Begode wheels but the Lynx would be my next choice if something goes wrong w the GT release. Jealous of Spains weather this time of year.
Saw the Commader GT Pro today on fb, not really a fan so far, looks pretty heavy and awkward to ride
@@ZenLee oh wow,. I’m still fine w my master and stopped preordering new released wheels so I’ll take my time picking my next one. The Lynx may be it then. Thanks for feedback.
Thanks, ZL. I don't find Patton stock pedals to be particularly good for my riding style, so the Lynx pedals must be pretty . . . not good. Interesting that the Lynx has a bigger wheel diameter and battery and it's still only slightly heavier than the Patton.
Hopefully, you can do some off-road riding and contrast it to the competition - including the Patton. I find the Patton to be acceptable off-road, but not as good as the slightly larger Master (non-pro) and I think this is due to the Patton's smaller wheel diameter. There are some off-road videos available, but they are long and there are multiple riders, so it's hard to tell who's actually riding the Lynx.
Pedals are good except for maybe in wet conditions
This was very thorough. Didn't know they cost up to $4K.
Was contemplating between the Veteran Lynx and the new Honda Motocompacto($1K) as a personal transport alternative to e-bikes, but this things hella pricey. Damn
There are other options and you can also buy used. They come in different weights, voltages, tire styles, heights, and wheel diameters. You can also buy new direct from distributors that don’t offer full support if you are the type that have tools to work on your own transports
@@TaiLegend oh I see. Just saw one in real life a few weeks ago and decided to do my own recce on if it'll be a good alternative transport.
What are your top 4 recommendations for $1000 for street riding particularly?
@@1anre in all honesty, in my opinion I feel that it’s best to save up a little more to get a 16”-20” suspension wheel if buying new with moderate battery and speed so you don’t outgrow it so fast. A Begode T4 or a Begode Master are two examples of this. Or if you go non suspension wheel route then a Kingsong 16x or Inmotion V12 (but the V12 is a bit of a coin flip wheel). But if you are getting used then approximately $1,000-$1,200 should cover it. Best part about getting used is that you’ll probably get pads, aftermarket pedals, and a seat included
@@1anre For street riding on a budget: Inmotion V8 or V10, Gotway Tesla V2/V3, or Kingsong 16x.
Commander mini is a great wheel at much lower cost.
@zenlee, When are the races in Valencia?
Maybe we can plan our next trip to catch a race?
Bonjour 👋
Merci ton avis est très important ,
Te connaissant tu es un très bon
Jugement et équilibré 😃
good stuff!!!!
This wheel checks all the boxes for me. One thing that does bug me though is that the pedals look like ankle slicers. It's a bummer to spend all that money and feel the need to replace the pedals.
I haven't been watching EUC content in a long minute, but is LeaperKim the same company that makes the Sherman
Si, same company
What is the best choice for only street riding at 90/95kgs fully geared ? I hesitate between 62 and 66lbs..
Thanks:)
Tim
What are you doing in Portugal? Did you move over seas?
I'm in Spain, but will likely go Portugal soon. Lots of races in Spain.
Serious question: If you could only afford one wheel and you had to choose between the Lynx or the Commander Pro 50s 3600 watt, 4000 motor, which would you choose?
Is it possible to take the kickstand off?
I think so, I'm planning on doing so. I'll let you know if it works out.
🔥🔥🔥
love da video!!
So glad!
the most powerful wheel is a 8000w while the v13 can reach peaks of 13kw, makes sense.
Does OneRide rent EUCs to visitors?
My wife works in Valencia and I'd like to rent a wheel on the next visit.
Please let me know.
cheers!
Inmotion v11y?
so what is the advantage to an electrical bike? Seems much more unstable for the average person than a bike? Just for fun?
Portability, fun, attention, range - my ebike was stolen in Vegas, I had it locked up outside. I started researching another ebike to buy, and saw an EUC, with the EUC I can bring it up my stairs and keep safe inside. Also fits in cars easily.
Can you not ride on the roads over there?
It's a gray area, but in Valencia you can ride on roads that are one way and two lanes. (one each opposite direction)
Beach sand is a nightmare for any mechanical device. It gets into every crack and crevice, and is very abrasive and corrosive.
Hey Zen, can you tell me real quick at what setting you put the angle point again? Default is 45 and you set it to 35, right? Can't remember actually in which video that was..
Hey Juke 55 is perfect unless your doing Extreme burms
@@ZenLee I'll try it out. By the way: My Lynx is coming on Friday (by your code of course :D). I'm looking sooooo forward...
@@Jukeboxandi awesome! stay in the zen zone and stay safe
2:08 shout out to Mr. Pigeon 🎉
Beach vides coming next?
not the one releasing today, but will try for sure on the next one.
For someone coming from a V12HT who maxs it out on spped and range almost every ride, would you recommend the Sherman S or Lynx?
You'd be happy with either one
Seems that, like most modern tech it doesn’t like the beach, then. 😊
Right!
I kind of trust your reviews, because you are kind of hard core Master. For a lot of wheels you are kind of the Master is going to beat it (at least when it is running). It sounds like your are saying this is really better then your Master. I was concerned on the range and maybe waiting for the Sherman S sized version of this would be better. 50 miles range is good for me though. We can always swap out to another wheel if one goes dead though too.
Invite U-Stride to break it. Does the Firmwate prevent top Speed Cut outs ?
I'd rather not have Ustride break my new wheel. Now I have two wheels, one can be for you to ride ✌️
I'm not certain yet, but I think the firmware won't allow cutout!
this is important... @@ZenLee
What is your weight? you think 62 lbs spring is right for you?
I'm 160lbs or so, 62lb is good, I'd like to try the others to see. I've put 1000km or so on a Patton, with a 66lbs spring and it was also good.
CGT or Lynx best for you?)
Depends on the use 🤔
Is it forbidden to ride on roads in Valencia?
You can ride on roads that are one way, or have only one lane each way
I've had no problem riding on any roads
really more agile than the master ?
I think most people would find it to be more agile
@@ZenLee i tested the lynx, really more agile yes.
Lynx looks like a great racing wheel. It can also be a great of road real, with the bigger tire than the Patton. For short distance in a city, the Lynx is a great wheel.
The Lynx is not for me. I already have enough wheels to cover all the bases I want. For off road or single track, the Lynx is too big for me. I prefer the Patton. For long rides on the road at 35-40 mph, I have the EX30.
If they could make a 22 inch Lynx with a little more battery. I would be very happy. I would replace my Abrams for seated riding.
Has a surprising amount of range as well.
I am confused. With a wheel w/ so much power, isn’t it a disservice to push it on a sidewalk?
It has many use cases. I'll likely be racing it, but those are next year.
Hi Zen, did you had a chance to ride commander mini? What were your impressions?
I have the GT, which is an 18inch version of the wheel. It's super solid and grounded well. Very durable and powerful.
@@ZenLee thank you for your feedback.
is the CST knobby that bad? Would you recommend getting a street tire over it? I've only ever used street tire wheels but I want to prep for the winter and off-road riding even though i'll mostly be on the road. I cant decide....
Think the CST knobby isn't a low tier tire, but it's still very mucho enjoyable. I'm breaking mine in still. There are much better options, but if you don't want to bother with a tire change its still amazing wheel.
Okay awesome! Because I do want that extra grip for off roading but I just want to make sure It's still an enjoyable experience. Thanks for the response! @@ZenLee
I’ll bet anyone the Lynx will out accelerate the GT Pro. Veteran is like Porsche, always underrating their stuff. Begode is like Dodge, unreliable power but reliable explosions.
I think so!
50 S is better no matter what... you just say that because leaperkim is not offering the 50s
There is an option for 50s on the Lynx ✌️
My guy - theres one on every video
@@ZenLee
@@johnnygovroom data sheets
@@johnnygovroom50S is the new Pokémon 😂😂😂must be a terrible wheel with 50E😅😅😅
its gotta be!!!! lol- wagons will be chased@@EUCScotland
You do know that gear doesnt make you super man. Yes gear helps lower injuries but nothing stops injuries. If you hit a mack truck head on all the gear in the world aint gonna accomplish anything. I wouldnt ride without a helmet but who fucking cares what someone else does, unless they get us all banned lol.
Not sure you should be riding any Euc in sand...
you'd be missing out if you could and didn't
is it just me, or is this „3000wh“ wheel first impression (as far as i know its just 2700wh!) a little bit boring?
And most important people: As Zen says: DO NOT get the better 50s cells!
That they have more Amperage headroom and make EVERY wheel safer is „just“ prooved science! But that doesnt matter here….because battery expert Zen Lee told us so! Its better to have max 40 battery amps from 50e, instead of minimum 100Amps from the 50s. They are just not needed! especially not for heavier riders or those that like crazy accelerations, or the average dude who wants more safety! All nonsense!
Ironic rant mode now off and bye bye
Basically, the real nonsense is everything you just said! You are almost completely wrong through and through.
@Zen Lee Is it true that all Leaperkim Lynx wheels have tubeless tires?
Not true
If you buy it from Ewheels and you spec the street tire, it will come tubeless, but the Kenda nobby will not.
@@Riceman-o1pwhoa, interesting
@@Riceman-o1p so basically, its a shop specific offer coming only from ewheels. Hmm...is there a way other riders can purchase the tubeless tire separately?
