As a kid in public schools back in the day. Id here reference to Nubian kingdoms while discussing Egypt and question it often and noticed. I was being lead away from the topic. Being a white guy, I thought it very odd that I was lead away. Had to talk with a pair of friends that were black to hook them into it. We took our SOCIAL STUDIES teacher apart that year. Kinda eased racial tentions in our school that year too. I've always known that Nubia pre dated Egypt and made it what it is now in our history.

@Robert Scott Bruh, go research the vatican archives. African history and art isn't the only thing they stole they did the same to a lot of other cultures, that's why it's forbidden to any public access; the Vatican got half the world's history hidden way. And not just hidden history but other shit too but I'm just keeping it light, she's on to something you should look into it.

But think of all the African philosophers of the ancient world that we never heard of that's hidden there.
How the pyramids were truly built etc... things mainstream history cannot answer; it's all in the Vaticans archives... Occult knowledge like that was stolen and hidden away.

Excellent video. I'm so glad somebody finally cleared up the confusion and pointed out that the term "nubian" is technically incorrect as it was not a term Egyptians used. Very important to point out they were not all the same people but several distinct ethnic groups.
The Medjay are very interesting. They are still there today. They are the Besharin or Beja people. The Medjay were so integrated into Egyptian society that after a while the term Medjay lost any ethnic significant and became the term for the police force regardless of ethnicity.
Only thing is that the Christian kingdoms didn't convert to Islam as a result of intermarriage with Arabs. What happened was they had allied themselves with the Christian crusaders from Europe. The crusaders were defeated and in retaliation, the Nubians were forced to convert by the Muslim rulers of Egypt at that time. Really interesting when you consider the Egyptian Christians were never forced to convert which is why there is still a large Christian population in Egypt today. In fact they were instrumental in the deciphering of the hieroglyphics because they still speak the final stage of the Egyptian language in the church in much the same way Catholics had preserved Latin.

    • @HelloWorld1947
      @HelloWorld1947 8 років тому +11

Actually the population of Copts in Egypt is dwindling greatly by Muslim persecution. They used to make up 70% of the Egyptian population. Keep in mind Christianity had been in Africa and the Middle East for decades, long before Mohammed was born. However, i disagree with you that the Copts themselves speak the ancient Egyptian language of hieroglyphics. Due to the fact that Egyptians are mixture of people from East Africa, Arabs and Europeans, including the Copt's. The Egyptian language died a long time ago. There is no one alive today that can read it, including these white Europeans who think they do. They are just making crap up from their ***. It's due to this admixture that Egyptian history is the most contested and inaccurate history in mankind history!

    • @TRUTHTEACHER2007
      @TRUTHTEACHER2007 8 років тому +9

Aksum አክሱም ፣ ንግሥት coptic was the last stage of the Egyptian language. In the written form they had adopted a modified version of the Greek alphabet. You are right that no one speaks it as an everyday language, but it is used in the church in the same way you use geez. The hieroglyphs were deciphered because of the rosetta stone and the fact that Coptic is still spoken cerimonially in the church.
Yes it is true that Copts are mixed, but they were pretty much the same as they are now by the time the Arabs arrived. Egypt had been a Christian nation for centuries before Islam because when the Romans made Christianity the state religion all the temples throughout the Empier were closed and the priests killed. Those who had not converted were forced to do so.
Today Copts are a minority because the majority of the poulation converted to Islam. The conversion process and the loss of the spoken Coptic lsnguage took several hundreds if yesrs to happen.

The Arab writters are open about this in older writings. We have to also realize that the ppl who are called copts, were most likely mixed before the Arabs due to invasions of perisans, Greeks and Romans.

It is not till recent times Nubians were separated from Egypt due to the Arab and European occupiers that saw black Egyptians as foreigners and called the Nubians. The people the ancient Egyptians had rivalry with were southern Sudanese people. You can see they closely resemble the images on ancient egyptian walls.

The info you provided i.e. breaking up Nubia into the varying groups is new to me. I knew about Kemet, Nubia and Kush as the lands that were united under King Narmer. Since Nubia and Kush made up TaSeti, then the united two lands have to be Kemet (TaMeri) and Nubia/Kush (TaSeti). The info you provided will make me go and look at that history again. Thank you the contributions you make in the upliftment of African people. One question; why do you refer to the land as Egypt and not Kemet?

Kush is in the Hebrew bible, as a name of an African kingdom south of Egypt.
In modern Hebrew a declension of Kush , which means a person from the land of Kush, is a derogatory term for black people, like the N word in America.
usually used against Israel's Ethiopian Jewish community, but lately also against the community of African refugees that found themselves in Israel. how people can ruin perfectly good words with racial filled hate.

1- The Fulani Wars and how it changed the region. (Talk about Usman Fodio)
2- The Swahili Coast. (I read MANY books about this region and most scholars are lazy and they don't get deep in the black population of that area, but I am from there and so I know that the swahili culture wasn't an arab culture exclusively. The arabs were just part of a larger melting pot)
3- Black people outside of africa like: al jahiz, a black arab like myself, who is considered one of the greatest arabic prose writers in history or someone like antara bin shaddad (The badass, up to this day when speaking arabic if you want to say someone is a badass you call them antar) or Bilal bin rabah or Kafur al ikhshidi etc

Egypt wasn't always a habitable land it use be a swampy area cover under water. Once the flood waters cleared, these Cushitic people built dams/cataracts in order to cultivate the land that would become Egypt.

Some of the most often quoted historians are Strabo, Diodorus Siculus, and Herodotus.[38] Herodotus states in a few passages that the Egyptians were black/dark. According to most translations, Herodotus states that a Greek oracle was known to be from Egypt because she was "black", that the natives of the Nile region are "black with heat", and that Egyptians were "black skinned with woolly hair".[39] Lucian observes an Egyptian boy and notices that he is not merely black, but has thick lips.[38] Diodorus Siculus mentioned that the Aethiopians considered the Egyptians a colony.[46] Appollodorus, a Greek, calls Egypt the country of the black footed ones.[38] Aeschylus, a Greek poet, wrote that Egyptian seamen had "black limbs."[47] Greeks sometimes referred to Egyptians as Aethiopians[48] - not to be confused with inhabitants of the modern-day nation of Ethiopia who were instead referred to as Abyssinians or Habesha and their land as Abyssinia.

I don't believe there are black and non-black pharaohs. There are all black, both competing civilisations were in Africa. They were worshiping one god and it was in the South, in Sudan. The northern civilisation [Egypt] is the one was exposed to colonisation for more than 40 times through history. Every aspiring King invaded Egypt, the Greeks, the Romans, the Persians, Alexander, the Arabs, etc. On the contrary, the Southern civilisation wasn't invaded by an out-of-Africa civilisation until it was changed internally by the Muslims and Arabs in the 1500's. That's why people in Egypt have a fair skin unlike than south of Egypt and Sudan.

There are some basic misunderstandings and misplacements in your analysis of the region's history. The Kushites, as you call them, were correct. Dynastic Egypt was the result of thousands of years of evolution that started in the south and central Africa. Starting in south Africa, up through the Rift Valley and all the way to the Delta region. The basic Egyptian cultures began in the south and developed from that base. They Egyptians were descendants of the "Kushites" or Nubians. In time they became a distinct people because of environment and the separative nature of human beings. So, they saw themselves as different. But genetics has proven that they were the same people. The normal interactions of people (North, south, central and even western Africa) through trade, war, marriage, etc. created a flow of cultural influences to make it seem like Egypt was bringing something new to the south. But it was not new, just different because they had modified what their forefathers originally brought from the south.

The Hyksos had no land they invaded Egypt and then made their home in lower Egypt. the Hyksos king you speak of was known in the 15th dynasty while Kamose was the 17th. Although I will say this was all during an intermediate period in the history, so it's possible all of this could have happened all at once. Egyptologists, am I right? haha, but nah Egypt had few African "enemies", rivals is a better word. Egypt and Kush were sister countries and rivals. Sort of like the relationship between England and the U.S. England being Kush and The U.S being Egypt. The New Kingdom Egyptian who refer to kush as vile kush only know half the story, Kush wouldn't have partnered up with the Hyksos to divide Egypt. Like, the Hyksos enslaved Egyptian women and children, burned temples and destroyed cities. Why would the Kushites help these desperate invaders do that when they helped the Egyptians gain control of their land again through the leadership of Ahmose I.

That was the main argument between Osirus (Modern new world order) and Seti (Traditional natural order).
Lots of references to Isis & lower Egypt new magic etc.

At the Museum of Egyptian Antiquity in Cairo, all of the Ancient Egyptian Dynasties are listed on the walls ... except the Nubian Dynasty. The Arabs do not want to recognize blacks had power over them at any time in history.

The term Ethiopians referred to black people period. The greeks were quite ignorant in their statements towards African people, the term literally means burnt face(s), Ethiopie or Ethiopia means land of burnt faces, AKA Africa not just Nubia or Kush or Egypt.

Ancient Egypt (Ta-Meri or Kemet) was nothing but a cultural extension of Ancient Nubia (Ta-Seti or Kush).
Ta-Seti was at its height between 3800 and 3300 BCE - before Dynastic Egypt was born. Equatorial Africa (grandmother civilization), Ancient Nubia (daughter nation) and Ancient Egypt (granddaughter nation).

Did the Egyptians learn pyramid building and hieroglyphic writing from Ta Seti or Kush?

The Kushires didn't literally teach the ancient Egyptians how to build pyramids. The material and technology of pyramid-building came from the South.

Yes the writing came from Nubia. Later developed their own.

Where can examples of early Nubian writing be found that's been dated older than Egypt's writing?

The video is great but outdated, the sphinx was around at least since 12, 500 BC! I guess we need our own historians instead of listening to white folks tell us about our own history. That's a lesson for all moors.

Ya from what I recall - who we typically think of as first ancient Egyptians saw themselves as inheritors of their land and culture from their ancient ancestors.

Without ancient Nubians- we wouldn’t have Judaism, period. Which means no Islam or Christianity. I didn’t learn this till recently and it shook everything I ever learned. Thank you for making videos like this. I was very hurt learning how much I believed and how BIG picture historically lied to.
I know will make it my mission to learn as much as I can and share the facts, not the bs history books that lie to all of us.
Thank you ❤️ knowing this history was the missing piece to understanding human history. I believe in having a accurate world history knowledge and the majority of people I know don’t. What your doing is important. I can’t say thank you enough and I’m going to go binge your content now 👌🏻💚

Check the olmec story, at one time the entire civ. disappeared from Mx (both aztec and maya tell the same story)

Nubia and Egypt had a bitter sweet realationship the sweet part is they traded with eachother egypt needed wood, minerals, and horses.when Nubians needed food they would trade with egypt and get grain and fertile soil and ounce egypt conqered Nubia but after they left back to Egypt then the nubians conqered egypt and one of the nubian kings announced himself pharoh and then nubian pharohs lasted centuries
