What I love about Namor is how they introduced him. We see him in darkness and only really see his wings and they took the time to establish how powerful he is and made him so frightening with throwing a helicopter with ease. He gives a strong first impression
considering Namor was long before the Avengers and Spiderman and Fantastic Four were even a thing as Marvel's first character it was about time he got some action on screen just a shame we didn't get to see T'challa face him

We need more action scenes of him with better fighting direction. He better fight someone who is powerful as him. No silly trick. His strength is strong enough to throw a chopper as if it's nothing. His skin is durable enough to undamaged from any most of human weapons. And since he is basically a merman, his every power and reflexes get better with water and can swim faster than boats. And he can fly gosh. He should fight someone like Ikaris, Thor or Hercules

Namor is by far my favorite part of the whole movie, everything about him, his look, his background, his ancient way of thinking, just everything is very good. He felt ancient, brutal, was being nice with shuri when she was in the water. I loved that they didn't make him just another mutant, he's been here for a long time, he has people who are basically family and he's special. Very well done with his character The new "genius" is a young ghetto black girl, even my wife (who's black) didn't like her lol. She didn't come off as very intelligent, no offense to her character, I want to see how smart she is and how she comes conclusions and actually be intelligent, all talk no walk. Hopefully him and Talocan appear in the Thunderbolts to help with the invasion that the US preparing in the thunderbolts. Namor vs Sentry, BP and Midnight angels vs John, Alexi, Yelena and ghost vs is going to be fun if we can get that (I can’t imagine Bucky actually fights the wakandans).
I like the actor, but the character just didn't feel as imposing as he does in the comics. I think that some more CGI, a less revealing costume, or a better workout regimen would have added much to this movie. Namor is about as ripped and imposing as Captain America, just like Tom Hardy did a great job as Bane but simply wasn't physically imposing enough to pull off the character correctly.

In the original Marvel comics, Namor and his people were Atlanteans (Marvel’s version of Atlanteans). I like this change. Namor and his people are Talokanil (demonym for Talokan). Funfact. Talokan is based on Tlalocan (magical subaquatic realm in Aztec legend).
Namor is a very cool character, I also think the Aztec redesign looks neat... sadly the actor looks ridiculous, chubby Namor. I know it's almost impossible to find a actor out there who has the body type of Michael Phelps, but it is what it is. Taking down a helicopter, shrugging off being hit with vibranium weapons, surviving having his wings torn off, out maneuvering Wakandan advanced aircraft, sneaking through Wakandan security, dragging a sub through the water and on to land, being able to fly, being able to survive the extreme cold and pressure of the bottom of the ocean, punching straight through heavy armor, and having access to Vibranium weapons. None of that impresses you?

Stephen was holding back, and Peter still almost lose to him even though he wasn't trying to kill him, plus Peter can defeat villains with his intelligence, even though some villains are more powerful. 2. That's what Namor is, he's mostly an asshole/hypocrite all the time and he think he a guy that can't be beaten just because he's more powerful.

Namor is a very cool character, I also think the Aztec redesign looks neat... sadly the actor looks ridiculous, chubby Namor. I know it's almost impossible to find a actor out there who has the body type of Michael Phelps, but it is what it is. Also the Namor = no love thing is just so ridiculous, lol highs and lows for this live-action CGi fest, cool Aztec imagery, tryhard actor, etc.. but everything else is not that good

The way she beat him made sense. She weakened him by drying him out the the airship, kept him away from water and burn with an explosion… even though he was weakened it was very clear the he was still stronger than her.

The only nitpick I’ll say for namor is that he seems a bit weak, if he really is supposed to be as strong as hulk & thor, he should have higher/more cooler looking strength feats
Taking down a helicopter, shrugging off being hit with vibranium weapons, surviving having his wings torn off, out maneuvering Wakandan advanced aircraft, sneaking through Wakandan security, dragging a sub through the water and on to land, being able to fly, being able to survive the extreme cold and pressure of the bottom of the ocean, punching straight through heavy armor, and having access to Vibranium weapons. None of that impresses you?
@@trueblue6201 no not really tbh, his striking feats aren't that impressive, he's barely able to crack the ground & only sends people flying at most like 10ft. when hulk & thor have made people go way further than that. the only thing you mentioned there that was kinda visually impressive was swinging a helicopter around, but I feel like even Spider-Man could do that.
