Wong Fei Hung played by Jet Li and Vincent Zhao was the kung-fu everyone grew up in the 90s with. Jet Li was short and fast, Vincent was long and smooth with his moves.
Looking back at these films, it had a certain charm to its overall style. Even watching these films now, I still feel the same after 10-15 years when I last saw these films as a kid. Films nowadays lack the charisma and feel these old classics can deliver.

Jerry Solisan Dude, you need to do yourself a favor and watch either Bruce Lee’s Fist of Fury (aka Chinese Connection) or Way of the Dragon (aka Return of the Dragon).

films in the past were crowded with lots of martial arts,, instead of now there is a lot of magic, and boring,, I hope there will be more films like this
thats the sad part, in the old times most of the actors are having martial arts background or beijing opera and lot of stuntman with the same background also, nowadays its not, and using cgi are much cheaper and less risky anyway
Hong Kong action movies gave the standard for action films. China made action films are just copies of American action films with shitty CGI and lifeless pretty faced actors.
@Khorne same with what? lol Yeah, cause they now mix with chinese actors and film makers and now shitty. Please watch this to understand my point. ua-cam.com/video/VY5OJEMs59g/v-deo.html
@S. Young I'm not living in the past rather appreciating all the HK movie Industry have done and how their films affects the whole cinema industry in the world. That's why i can't stand watching new Chinese films, even drama's to this day.. Too much CGI, they rather pick gorgeous actors than with great acting skills.
@Dermane Youness Unoriginal? Hollywood films are the standard for films even today.. atleast they have good movies and good ideas. I'm not chinese. I'm just a fan of HK Cinema. I agree with you on the rich culture part but what they are doing now is kinda meh. Too much CGI on every film. The chinese identity is lost.

This is a nice edit. I feel the Cantonese version never got an official release anywhere. It's also sad that the Fong Sai Yuk soundtrack doesn't exist.
a long long long time ago there were bits from the fong sai yuk soundtracks on youtube. just a handful of songs; the title song and some instrumentals. it was like 10-9 years ago tho.
Uaahh.., what a welcomed relief (like as if having just had a drink from a fount on a hot-parched summer's day) is had from this properly sung version. A far cry from the original, totally honest valuation from over here. This had none ur' those, what ?, largely ungraspable - incomprehensible - probably unintelligible evn, what essentially was for the most part laden with recurrent shouty2 genres (What ? ! , That all supposed to make for, What ?, putting adrenal engines into overdrive, causing elevated rushes of Mandom sensations (that probably had waned over time somewhat or some type of other (possibly) patriotism stirring to emotions, that kinda thingy ??) had it not for some kind persons that had the clarity-of-mind to furnish-up vids that had lyrical proper in tow alongside it for our benefit at understanding what message it hopes to convey ?..
