I've been going on Eastmans boats for many years always a professional crew and the Captains try their hardest to put you on fish. I agree the Reds are awesome eating.
Another great vid for the series! I liked this one better than the first. First one it looked like you took over the bow all for yourself. This one looked more like you were just another guy at the rail working around everyone else.
I love this series.. I hope there’s season 2 for this and fish out of south eastern part to include Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and down, and also the west coast. Thanks for the great videos! BTW, this video was way too short compared to your first video which I enjoyed from beginning to end.
With all due respect for this fleet, their captains, and those that enjoy this style of fishing, it was always way too many lines, elbows, and dogfish for me to continue. Much rather take my own boat or pay 2-3x for a private charter. I do applaud Eastman’s for how early and late they stretch the seasons to accommodate demand and an active bite. The days of taking my small boat 25 miles offshore in December are over as I get older.
Welp, since you used the magic word... We have a few more Living Off The Land and Sea videos coming this fall/winter, and we're working on something more official for 2022.
You can slay those reddish with sabiki rig full strings some decent size that's how we always get them and we're not fishing for them those are actu actually a pain in my ass when I'm baitfishing...hahaha lol

Capt. Phil is awesome. Been going on his fleet since 1998. The best in the Northeast.
I’ve been on this vessel before everyone was very nice and I caught a lot of nice sized pollock !
Captian phill and all his crew are just really great humans my favorite party boat
I agree!
The cabin fever is So Severe!! It feels great to watch this, preparing myself for March 2022!
You know you can get out of the cabin go fishing right now? :) Good luck!

Awesomeness
They are a pretty looking fish. I wish I could do some gyotaku prints of them.
They would make a wild print.
I’m told they are the best eating fish in the GOM but I can’t cook them quite right. Any suggestions?
We just kept it simple. Sauteed in butter, or baked with Ritz Crackers and butter - this recipe right here: ua-cam.com/video/Vjmk8i4r5N4/v-deo.html
Wont be long now!

Red fish are like Grunts down here in Florida ! If it wasn't for them these boats would go broke !

You just have to avoid weekends, fridays, as well as the summertime
No shit Sherlock, a private charter is more comfortable. Not everyone can afford it though.
She’s right all you need is bait hook and weight
Can we please get a series of andy cooking
