Brought back many memories from my youth in the 50s. My dad and his cronies would surf cast at night off of Matunuck beach in RI. When they got into the tautog it was nonstop excitement. One of the best tasting fish I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty. We practically lived on seafood those summers.
Seeing this trip from each UA-camrs POV was cool.

God I love partyboat tog fishing. Island current III, frances fleet, wise kraken, bounty hunter cant go wrong. Homie hit it right on the head, the crowds of the fluke seabass season are gone and its just the diehards and the sick in the heads. Not a better feeling in the world (w/ your clothes on) than taking a pool when everyone is loaded for 🐻 multiple rods, 1k's in gear, and everyone else's $ in my pocket, fuck me sideways, thats the highlife

Yes, by late October-early November, the summer fluke crowds are long gone. Only the die-hards are out on the water for late season tog and cod. But the last three years, the wind machine comes earlier and stronger with each year. The Frances hasn't sailed since January. I was supposed to get out over the Thanksgiving weekend, but it was canceled due to wind.
That rod he gave u to use with the gold vs100 is that wepon jr mag 7’10?
That set up is my Custon Century Weapon (7’2) paired ain't VSG100. 20lb braid, 20lb fluoro, 1oz to jig. Thanks for watching.
