I'm gonna be buying a truck soon and with all the research I've done over the different brands... I'm going with ram for their air suspension... Being disabled with 3 spinal fusion surgeries this is gonna be the most comfortable ride out of all the others
My dad had a older one. A 2013 with the air suspension. The 4 door with a hemi. For a big truck it rode like a suv, super comfortable. It really soaks up every bump.

It is a nice truck, no doubt. However, 90k plus dealer fees, +taxes+additional options to add on to truck, this will easily be close to 100k+ out the door. I rather buy an Escalade for that money.

520 hp on a 3.0 liter six in a full size pickup? That thing better have some SOLID ass internals. You hook up a big trailer on that and those little rods and crank are going to be under one hell of a load
I have a big concern with that block x 2 Turbos. Heavy accelerations + towing or both, will suck the crap out of it. Then, go and buy a used one with no factory coverage. Would not be me. These blocks will get very tired, very soon.

This was a clean sheet design, built for turbos. Ford took off the shelf engines and added turbos. Not saying they're bad, but engines designed with purpose are normally a more reliable package. There is a good video of a torture test of this engine and I mean high revs and with engine being tilted right and left and up and down. If they are banking on this motor for as many applications, I believe that there is financial motives to make sure they don't detonate.

I'm way impressed! I purchased a Limited RAM in 2019 with the same interior colors and it has been the absolute best truck ever! If I buy a new truck this one would be on my list especially with that new engine and the power it delivers, wow. Also, if you wait until the manufacturer rebates, you can get about $20K off the sticker.

I'm on a plane 4 days a week and my Klipsch noise-canceling headphones are like my coping companion! Can't live without them. I thought the system they used in the GW was amazing until I heard they were going with Klipsch for Ram.
@@sunchaser999 We looked at the Suburban, Yukon, Navigator and Expedition.. Ended up with an F150 Platinum with Blackout package for 20k less. The only reason to buy the SUV is if you need to haul alot of people. Loving the truck.. Has adaptive dampers and massaging seats. It feels like a Navigator.
The engine will be fine. They did their job producing it, now it's up to the consumer to trust in a company that has a good track record with inline 6 engines.

I have a 2020 Ram Longhorn with the eco Diesel. I absolutely love this truck. I would rather drive it than our 2020 lexus RX 450H. More quiet, better ride ,better audio and fuel economy. Sad to see the diesel no longer available. I will keep it for some time as these new trucks are only slightly better in my opinion.

If I had $8,000, I researched and test drove and bought the best/funnest thing I could for $8k- then took care of and loved on it. but I just don’t understand the mentality. Ram redesigned 2025 HD Diesel trucks are something to get excited about, they are real trucks and functional for people that are using to pull these kind of vehicles to the shop.
I’m glad Ram got a great update but I’m disappointed that the Hemi is reduced to 6 cylinders with twin turbos known as the Hurricane engine but different outputs I was loving the Hemi V8 sound and my late dad would not be happy about the route it’s going to but I know the new engines are gonna have more HP like the previous V8 and the competition is the F150 with 2.7L Ecoboost V6 and the 3.5L Ecoboost either standard output, Powerboost or the HO for the Raptor I hope the Hurricane heart does great
I don’t know why people complain about the price of this truck. It’s not like any of you would ever consider buying it in the first place or have ever owned the top end trim level anyway. The people who actually do buy this trim level have no concern with cost whatsoever. Ram could charge $200,000 for the truck and they’d still GLADLY pay that much for it.
Correct. This is not a truck for taking your trash to the dump or getting a load of hay for the horses. It is for showing off your money at the country club with your Gucci golf bag sitting in the back seat rather than in the truck bed. Except that people who really have money and need a truck that is a truck will not buy this thing. They are too smart to buy this.
The 5th gen Rams have been very reliable. Manifolds and rear windows leak are easy fixes. We have a 12 year old Hemi with nearly 200k miles, still runs like a top. Ford and GM on the other hand are still having bigger issues than Ram.
Ram is actually above avg in reliability and is recommended by CR...ironically the Tundra is not. The 5th Gen Ram doesn't have many failure points, but I can understand your thoughts.
My 21 ram had both manifolds go out. A year apart. And the dealer took 2 weeks the first time and 3 weeks the second time. And with no loaner. Hope they learned not to put that cheap China crap in their vehicles
Bezels are probably referring to the thin metal like material outlining different components in the interior. Like the aluminum surround on the start button
So far, they got me on the audio system. As an audiophile, i like my sound to be top-notch, especially for long distance driving. The thing about a luxurious pick-up is the multifunctionalilty: You can go to a wedding and on your way back home, make a stop by The Homedepot to pickup that new appliance. Currently own my second Nissan Titan and was considering a change. This one will be on my list for sure.
It looks nice, much more mature. Basically RAM’s version of a GMC Sierra D. ULTIMATE. The stacked led fog lights are sooo GMC, where is RAM getting this exterior styling from? As well as the detailed trim name badges in the seats and armrest that look the same as the ones in a GMC, the speaker system with metal speaker grilles all over the interior, and majority of this truck’s new technology. It seems like the 2022 Sierra put everyone on notice! But I’m sure this truck will costs thousands more because it has rear ventilated seats and because Stellantis thinks they sell luxury cars.
I know that you're a GM fan from your posts, but Ram needs not borrow anything from GMC, after setting the luxury benchmark in the class for years. Ram's seat badging, metal speaker grilles, and real knurled/turned aluminum has been a hallmark, but only amped up to 10 now. GMCs sound system was woefully inadequate to the H/K system; this Klipsch system will make the GMCs Bose system and its 12 speakers sound downright prehistoric. In terms of styling and referring to GMC, not a chance. The foglamps have a stacked design, but they're more intricate than what GMC offers. Don't get me wrong, I like the Ultimate, but I'm having trouble seeing how Ram copied the Denali Ultimate when it already lead in luxury. With this truck having a full 100 more HP than an Ultimate, standard adaptive air suspension, an interior that is not native to any other Ram(not even the seats are shared with lesser trims), I think that yes, "Stellantis does sell luxury trucks".

You will see on current Yukons and Sierras that exact setup. I’ll give RAM the 2019 Limited, which raised the bar. But since 2022, the Sierra took that crown and this Tungsten is clearly trying to be the DENALI of trucks. You’re comparing the 2022 Sierra’s sound system to one that has come _after_ it in 2025 bragging about how it sounds better. Lol. But RAM got the idea of surround sound from *gm,* sir. Who cares about a stacked fog light, that’s your one argument that ram stole from GM? Dumb. They all have firsts and the others all try to follow on a lot of features. Just like now ram has ditched the hemi and gone to forced induction but hope took fords idea and has improved it in an inline version which has historically been a better design but we’ll just have to wait and see. My wife and I saw a mirror image of this one just days prior to it going to the Tampa Auto Show in October of 2023. It was so beautiful in person that it took us less than 15 seconds to tell the sales guy that we'll take it. That's when he informed us that it wasn't available to be sold. ☹️
Why haven't these manufacturers built a quad captain chair option with the smell seats in the rear as the front, with a full center console? There's definitely room in the hd mega cab trucks, for sure. And when buyers are paying 100k plus for a pickup, it only seems like a natural thing yo option in rear luxury as well.
Ford used to do that in their King Ranch trucks. It didn’t go over too well. Most truck owners would rather have seating for 5 than a second center console. It’s not an SUV 😂
The other reason is that the main reason you see captains chairs in second row of suv is the easier access you have to third row which is of course unnecessary here- the bench seat flips up easier and gives you more room to haul in back. But I’m still surprised no one offers it as even an option
The truck market has changed substantially since Ford offered it in the King Ranch and Harley trucks. Dr's and Lawyers are driving pickups now. Business executives are as well. These trucks now have both the luxury and price tag of a luxury car or SUV. I'm sure the market would now merit the quad captain chairs.
This is basically a luxury SUV with the capabilities of a truck. Pretty good looking truck. However, I agree with others, this would probably be close to the 90k + price tag. But, one can dream right! Good job RAM.
No way that I would buy one of these without the V8. Bring back the N/A V8. My next truck will be a 3/4 ton with a V8. Dumb that all of these half ton pickups have stupid turbo V6's now.
The positions of the speakers are odd. In the back of our ram limited, there are 2 center speakers on the roof instead of on the sides. Also, leg room is often too much. Reaching the rear cupholders is difficult!
It's nice but honestly my 2022 limited with the 10th anniversary package has pretty much all these "extra" touches just with the 12 inch screen and no passenger screen

When will this truck be built? And do you have any incentives customers can use from your channel for this specific truck? Now I have clarity on how the truck will go in production. I was thinking it would be the plain looking delmonic red showed on RAM’s website. RAM’s top grille scheme should of carried over to the bottom grille, sense “it is” the top of the line of any truck on the market. Another thing RAM should have given 2 custom rim selections for this truck’s price. Plus the black part of the rim should be powered coated the same as the truck’s paint. I will be taking it to a wrap shop to get the same effects as the top grille. As long as RAM keeps the multifunctional tailgate, ram boxes, storage bins in the back floor, storage bin under the back seat, horsepower, and be dependable. RAM will be the most sought after truck because of these options‼️I wish you showed a Black fully loaded tungsten. It would LOOK way better with the standard black the truck comes with in the grilles and around the fog lights‼️ 🗣I ORDERED THE BLACK FULLY LOADED except engine block heater‼️ 🤔One more thing TUNGSTEN synonym WOLFRAM, love it and RAM probably didn’t realize that‼️
Toyota 1794 owner here I have to say this thing is nice. American trucks have nice packaging. Being a life long toyota Honda owner I was so impressed with American trucks I tried Ford, and GMC. There are awesome trucks but as far as quality goes, I had so many issues and problems with the domestic trucks I just can’t justify buying one. Not to mention the most money I have ever lost on a vehicle has been my ford truck horrible resale value. Having owned toyota, ford and gmc, but not yet ram. I would say toyota has the best reliability, my gmc duramax is next, the ford never broke down on me per se. But all the little things had problems things just didn’t work. I will never buy ford again. I have a duramax to tow heavy loads
Sold my 2019 Laramie and looking at either the Limited or Tungsten Hurricane I-6 or Ramcharger. The price will determine what one ends up in the drive. Stellantis is saying the Ramcharger will spec out at about the same price as the Hurricanes. Guess time will tell.

I use it for business meetings and taking kids to school during week and for projects and hunting ( yes I take it in woods and throw dead things in back of it) and hauling on weekends. When wife and I go out on Friday nights we take this many times instead of her X7 because frankly it’s nicer. Why am I not a “truck person”?

The internals are all forged and they must to be able to handle 27psi of turbo pressure.

The internals are forged. It's been testing well before they decided to use this motor. I think they'll be fine.

I I grew up poor and for a large part of my early adult life I had very little money to spend on vehicles- but even then when I saw someone in a expensive vehicle I thought, “that’s awesome” maybe I can do that one day. And if you can’t ever do it - that’s fine- learn to enjoy what you can afford like I used to do. If I had $8,000, I researched and test drove and bought the best/funnest thing I could for $8k- then took care of and loved on it. but I just don’t understand the mentality. I suspect it’s a lot of people with student loan debt on useless degrees that think you and I should pay for it behind these comments.

Ram redesigned 2025 HD Diesel trucks are something to get excited about, they are real trucks and functional for people that are using to pull these kind of vehicles to the shop.
I own a 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie and have 84K miles on it. This is the first Ram truck I’ve owned and couldn’t be happier.
It’s very nice! I like the passenger screen, the best pickup truck I ever seen!! I can’t wait for the driving part!!
I’m glad Ram got a great update but I’m disappointed that the Hemi is reduced to 6 cylinders with twin turbos known as the Hurricane engine but different outputs I was loving the Hemi V8 sound and my late dad would not be happy about the route it’s going to but I know the new engines are gonna have more HP like the previous V8 and the competition is the F150 with 2.7L Ecoboost V6 and the 3.5L Ecoboost either standard output, Powerboost or the HO for the Raptor I hope the Hurricane heart does great

I don’t know why people complain about the price of this truck. It’s not like any of you would ever consider buying it in the first place or have ever owned the top end trim level anyway. The people who actually do buy this trim level have no concern with cost whatsoever. Ram could charge $200,000 for the truck and they’d still GLADLY pay that much for it.
Correct. This is not a truck for taking your trash to the dump or getting a load of hay for the horses. It is for showing off your money at the country club with your Gucci golf bag sitting in the back seat rather than in the truck bed. Except that people who really have money and need a truck that is a truck will not buy this thing. They are too smart to buy this.

That's incorrect on the tow rating. The max tow is with the standard output, NOT the high output like you might expect.

The 5th gen Rams have been very reliable. Manifolds and rear windows leak are easy fixes. We have a 12 year old Hemi with nearly 200k miles, still runs like a top. Ford and GM on the other hand are still having bigger issues than Ram.
Ram is actually above avg in reliability and is recommended by CR...ironically the Tundra is not. The 5th Gen Ram doesn't have many failure points, but I can understand your thoughts.
My 21 ram had both manifolds go out. A year apart. And the dealer took 2 weeks the first time and 3 weeks the second time. And with no loaner. Hope they learned not to put that cheap China crap in their vehicles

So far, they got me on the audio system. As an audiophile, i like my sound to be top-notch, especially for long distance driving. The thing about a luxurious pick-up is the multifunctionalilty: You can go to a wedding and on your way back home, make a stop by The Homedepot to pickup that new appliance. Currently own my second Nissan Titan and was considering a change. This one will be on my list for sure.
It looks nice, much more mature. Basically RAM’s version of a GMC Sierra D. ULTIMATE. The stacked led fog lights are sooo GMC, where is RAM getting this exterior styling from? As well as the detailed trim name badges in the seats and armrest that look the same as the ones in a GMC, the speaker system with metal speaker grilles all over the interior, and majority of this truck’s new technology. It seems like the 2022 Sierra put everyone on notice! But I’m sure this truck will costs thousands more because it has rear ventilated seats and because Stellantis thinks they sell luxury cars.
I know that you're a GM fan from your posts, but Ram needs not borrow anything from GMC, after setting the luxury benchmark in the class for years. Ram's seat badging, metal speaker grilles, and real knurled/turned aluminum has been a hallmark, but only amped up to 10 now. GMCs sound system was woefully inadequate to the H/K system; this Klipsch system will make the GMCs Bose system and its 12 speakers sound downright prehistoric. In terms of styling and referring to GMC, not a chance. The foglamps have a stacked design, but they're more intricate than what GMC offers. Don't get me wrong, I like the Ultimate, but I'm having trouble seeing how Ram copied the Denali Ultimate when it already lead in luxury.
With this truck having a full 100 more HP than an Ultimate, standard adaptive air suspension, an interior that is not native to any other Ram(not even the seats are shared with lesser trims), I think that yes, "Stellantis does sell luxury trucks".

You will see on current Yukons and Sierras that exact setup. I’ll give RAM the 2019 Limited, which raised the bar. But since 2022, the Sierra took that crown and this Tungsten is clearly trying to be the DENALI of trucks. You’re comparing the 2022 Sierra’s sound system to one that has come _after_ it in 2025 bragging about how it sounds better. Lol. But RAM got the idea of surround sound from *gm,* sir. That’s was competition does is drive things to be better….but yes I’ll say that ram did change the luxury end first, both Ford and GM had to go back to the drawing board to update their interiors. Also let’s not forget that ram was the first to add air suspension, and also go to a higher gear box of 8 then ford and gm had to decide to go to 10. Who cares about a stacked fog light, that’s your one argument that ram stole from GM? Dumb. They all have firsts and the others all try to follow on a lot of features. The Laramie Longhorn/Longhorn Limited is where Denali Ultimate took its cues from since we are talking who stole what. No sir, the Tungsten benchmarked the real luxury for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class for inspiration. Seat design, switchgear, quilting, and tightness of assembly reflect that.

My wife and I saw a mirror image of this one just days prior to it going to the Tampa Auto Show in October of 2023. It was so beautiful in person that it took us less than 15 seconds to tell the sales guy that we'll take it. That's when he informed us that it wasn't available to be sold. ☹️
Why haven't these manufacturers built a quad captain chair option with the smell seats in the rear as the front, with a full center console? There's definitely room in the hd mega cab trucks, for sure. And when buyers are paying 100k plus for a pickup, it only seems like a natural thing yo option in rear luxury as well.
Ford used to do that in their King Ranch trucks. It didn’t go over too well. Most truck owners would rather have seating for 5 than a second center console. It’s not an SUV 😂
The other reason is that the main reason you see captains chairs in second row of suv is the easier access you have to third row which is of course unnecessary here- the bench seat flips up easier and gives you more room to haul in back. But I’m still surprised no one offers it as even an option
The truck market has changed substantially since Ford offered it in the King Ranch and Harley trucks. Dr's and Lawyers are driving pickups now. Business executives are as well. These trucks now have both the luxury and price tag of a luxury car or SUV. I'm sure the market would now merit the quad captain chairs.

This is basically a luxury SUV with the capabilities of a truck. Pretty good looking truck. However, I agree with others, this would probably be close to the 90k + price tag. But, one can dream right! Good job RAM.

The positions of the speakers are odd. In the back of our ram limited, there are 2 center speakers on the roof instead of on the sides.
Also, leg room is often too much. Reaching the rear cupholders is difficult!

My GMC Sierra is 5.3L that makes 390hp. I bought it brand new a year ago. I don’t want it now after knowing the new RAM engine 😩
When will this truck be built? And do you have any incentives customers can use from your channel for this specific truck? Now I have clarity on how the truck will go in production. I was thinking it would be the plain looking delmonic red showed on RAM’s website. RAM’s top grille scheme should of carried over to the bottom grille, sense “it is” the top of the line of any truck on the market. Another thing RAM should have given 2 custom rim selections for this truck’s price. Plus the black part of the rim should be powered coated the same as the truck’s paint. I will be taking it to a wrap shop to get the same effects as the top grille. As long as RAM keeps the multifunctional tailgate, ram boxes, storage bins in the back floor, storage bin under the back seat, horsepower, and be dependable. RAM will be the most sought after truck because of these options‼️I wish you showed a Black fully loaded tungsten. It would LOOK way better with the standard black the truck comes with in the grilles and around the fog lights‼️ 🗣I ORDERED THE BLACK FULLY LOADED except engine block heater‼️ 🤔One more thing TUNGSTEN synonym WOLFRAM, love it and RAM probably didn’t realize that‼️
Toyota 1794 owner here I have to say this thing is nice. American trucks have nice packaging. Being a life long toyota Honda owner I was so impressed with American trucks I tried Ford, and GMC. There are awesome trucks but as far as quality goes, I had so many issues and problems with the domestic trucks I just can’t justify buying one. Not to mention the most money I have ever lost on a vehicle has been my ford truck horrible resale value. Having owned toyota, ford and gmc, but not yet ram. I would say toyota has the best reliability, my gmc duramax is next, the ford never broke down on me per se. But all the little things had problems things just didn’t work. I will never buy ford again. I have a duramax to tow heavy loads

Sold my 2019 Laramie and looking at either the Limited or Tungsten Hurricane I-6 or Ramcharger. The price will determine what one ends up in the drive. Stellantis is saying the Ramcharger will spec out at about the same price as the Hurricanes. Guess time will tell.

I use it for business meetings and taking kids to school during week and for projects and hunting ( yes I take it in woods and throw dead things in back of it) and hauling on weekends. When wife and I go out on Friday nights we take this many times instead of her X7 because frankly it’s nicer. Why am I not a “truck person”?
