Whenever a SC verdict comes, read news article to know what they have said in the verdict. No need to spend too much time in article. If the verdict is very important for Nation, then surely editorials will follow in both Hindu and Express. Read Editorials to understand and know the full background of the verdict. Or just google, that case name and "UPSC".
For working professional time is very important. If you feel you have very less time, then dedicate that for syllabus completion of fundamental subjects. Dont give that time for newspaper. When time is less, then prioritise.. Read Editorials and Daily current affairs from any reputed UPSC related website.
Dear Sir, 1.) While reading e-paper (The Hindu) why should we read Delhi edition? 2.) Regarding Monthly CA magazine, should I have to read/follow every month or I should revise combined after Feb? Kindly Reply!
1) Delhi Edition has "Text & Context" section which is relevant to UPSC preparation. News and Editorials sections are same in all editions. Only for Text Context. 2) Monthly reading is better. Buy a monthly magazine, you have one month time to finish it. It enables us to internalize the current affairs better and allows time for revision. Bundling it after march is hectic and difficult to internalize and revise. However when we dont have time studying everything in march is fine. Now when we have time.. we can go monthly.
@@CuriousAdilsir this vedio really helped me a lot can I know which monthly magazine is easier to understand like now only I'm starting newspaper reading but I skipped June, july and August so I wanna cover those month current affairs and I don't want to read question and answer format magazines
Just read Newspaper. There is a programme called Spotlight at 9:15 PM daily, entire collection is available in their website. That show is enough for preparation. But not mandatory if you are regular with editorials.
Always prioritise your time for Syllabus based reading. Clearing exam is very important. But to read profile section irrespective of syllabus will widen your knowledge and your understanding about the world. Read profiles in free time.
