What sound do Black Swans make?

- Listen to a pair of black swans. I don't quite know what to call this sound... Wikipedia says "The black swan utters a musical and far reaching bugle-like sound". It's not a quack, or a honk, or a tweet.
Anyway, check out the noise these black swans make. By the way, the roaring sound in the background is from some animatronic dinosaurs that were on display at the zoo.

Mix the sound with a frilled lizard and make the lizard the size of a coyote and give it the ability to spit acid, you have the culprit of Nedry's death. The Dilophosaurus.

There’s no ostrich but they did use hawk, howler monkeys, and egrets for the hissing and for the rattling sound they used rattlesnakes obviously alongside a insects aswell
@@Avatarzillus2000 they did use ostrich, but not adults. They used the trills of ostrich chicks.

We used to hear them flying in squadrons overhead from Narrabeen Lagoon to Sydney Botanic Garden. That was the story 🙂

If you listen carefully, if you close your eyes, they used this sound for the Dilophosaurus' hooting.

I was right this was the exact type of swan that was used for the sound of the Dilophosaurus in Jurassic park
They sound like trumpets when they want you to go away, they're the opposite of white swans in that regard.
They sound like a squeaky dogs toy. Hope I can see these beauties in person one day.

One year my family and I went to the zoo and stopped by a little pond where the birds tended to congregate. In the middle of the pond was a
black swan, just sitting there keeping to themselves.
Well, at some point these two other nearby birds started fighting with each other, and before we knew it the black swan was gunning down the
pond hurtling toward the birds. The birds gave up their fight and went away.
That was so unreal.

I would call it cooing. A black swan in the tropical gardens where I worked decided to be my friend, and when I walked up to the lagoon it was in, from across the lagoon it would honk loudly, swim over to me very quickly, and do that cooing sound while I patted it's head and neck, and scratching under it's beak. It was the sweetest friendship I've ever had with an animal.
