I have seen the new GSA (all versions) a few weeks ago in Berlin, in the factory. I have to say, live I actually like it and now that I have seen it live, I don´t mind it in the videos any more. The tank on the triple black looks really fancy. I like the visible welding on the tank. Personally I prefer the Trophy, same like I did on the standard 1300GS. Will I get one? No. The standard GS is my favorite. But I am sure, everyone buying this will have their fun with it.
Ride days at BMW is massive in Germany. Nothing like our BMW ride days in Australia. Looks like you had a ball. Tell me…should I get the new GSA with the clutch or without? Now 2 months has passed on your new GSA is the feeling the same.
For some it's a live changer , some hate it so it's really a personal choice. At the moment I have the DCT and that's even more smooth cause of the double clutch when it comes to shifting and I love it. Try before you buy is all I can say my friend 😁
Nice GSA video- BMW ought to think about putting- Electric Upright assist" -for picking up a dropped bike and Electric Reverse" to back it up "They are making everything else easier except the hardest things,-picking it up and backing it up"

I like my Tiger 1200 but I could be tempted by the standard GS with ASA (I’m an old git so anything to help, and it’ll do wheelies eeeehaaaaa)

About the same but when you really go flatout it's still 145 vs 180hp but both bikes pack a nice punch 😁. The Ducati is more like a Panigale with fenders. Hardcore 😎
cant handle the side on view of the new GSA, wont ever see the inside of my garage, was hoping that it would look like the GS but with a bigger tank, think i would go for the GS trophy with gold wheels, for now ill stick to my old GSA HP

I understand people have different tastes, I wonder what it would have looked like if they took the headlight and the adaptive cruise control sensor and did a 180 , so the headlight would be up top and the adaptive control sensor would be at the bottom

Been on a GS variant for some time now, currently on a 1250 GSA. GS has never been the most attractive bikes on the market but always had a distinct and unique look to them....but in a good way (I think at least). Seems as though BMW has tried to gentrified the looks of the GS line up with the recent 1300 models. I am sure they are overall better motorcycles compared to the 1250 series but they kinda lost the look that GS's had that separated them from everyone else. Kinda like what Ducati did with their Monster by ditching the trellis for a aluminum frame. The looks of the GS1300 has grown on me but the GSA version....not sure if it will ever.
The toaster is back. But it is mutated, somehow uglier. Bet its a great bike, and will set you back an arm and a D. UP side is the previous model is gaining value!
I’ve had two 1200 GSAs and loved them. This is beyond ugly and I’m not sure even a mother could love it. What were they thinking?! This won’t be in my garage.

Wow, it's even uglier in the flesh than in the original launch pictures! Subjective I know, just my view. Also, really surprised that the weight of the thing hasn't been reduced my more than a kilo.

That rear subframe for the panniers looks a lot more attractive than the previous set up. We shall see about the durability.
