Departing LAX July 1991 in a 727-200

Continental airlines Boeing 727-200 en route to somewhere in Texas. The flight attendant provides a pretty good demonstration. See us taxi past some United DC10s and then take off towards the ocean.

Very nice footage from 1991. The Continental Airlines flight attendant is very attractive; she has a very pretty smile for the camera. The transition from ground effect to climb-out in this 727 take-off from the south complex at LAX is very apparent in this video, which is very well filmed.

727s were certainly a lot more common then than they are now.

I would assume that the destination was Houston from Los Angeles back in '91 since it was a Continental Airlines Boeing 727-200.

Two and a half hour flight, according to the announcement. That would put them to about Houston from LAX. Continental, though, frequently used larger aircraft on that route in that era; for example, the A-300.
