The purpose of the hook under the cover in the trunk is to fix the cover on the outer edge of the trunk, so you do not need to hold it all the time while grabbing things out.
This is essentially a plugin hybrid GLC with a bigger battery and electric motors where the ICE engine and fuel tank goes. It would be interesting to see what Mercedes could do it they actually built an EV on its own platform.
My assumption is that the hump is present in the backseat because it allows for a lower floor for the other two back seat passengers. My impression is that every car with no hump in that back instead has a high floor which results in less legroom for all 3 back passengers.
Seems to have that typical luxury car problem that has to fit a 6/8 cylinder under the hood. Big outside, small passenger room inside. And what is the cardan tunnel for? Or the huge grill? Or the fake exhaust design? This is not an BEV, how a BEV should be. It is a battery powered GLC.
BUT.... it has everything a normal car has and most consumers want. No quality problems, no service issues. They is a reason they use a known platform. You can avoid most of the small problems with the experience u got with it.

The 360 view is nearly the same as my leaf+. does it have objects recognition like the leaf (Forward and reverse) like people, garbage can, sidewalk and lamppost?
Great videos, thanks. Any designer that puts the charge port on the passenger side should be fired or at least made to hook up all the employee cars when it's raining.

85% percent of the EQC is new. Parts of suspension and interior is from GLC. It is thou put together in the same production line as GLC and C class so they can adjust demand and keep costs down.

Thats a lot of buttons and a somewhat small screen. Looks like a regular Mercedes SUV made electric. Good that they are starting to produce some electric cars, but i think that the EQC looks kind of boring and is overhyped.

Nice EV. Most of these are things you see in the gas GLC Mercedes and similar BMW gas vehicles. Burmester is fantastic audio.
