    I can't stand ASMR videos, they don't calm me at all but Suzie's videos about nails (considering I don't have them because I bite them all off) calm me more than anything. Thanks from a stressed student x

    My mother used this item. She said to dip the stamp in your liquid first to get it damp and make your bead a little dryer. She said that way when you make contact it will balance out and no spread so much. She did say the hummingbird is that hardest to do though.

      And also don't wait until its cured too hard or you get little cracks radiating out from the design where it wants to fall apart. And if you apply the filler colors WET they disperse into the design much easier and don't leave any pockets that might pop up after you file.

    There a a million other UA-cam nail videos out there, but Suzie will always be my ABSOLUTELY FAVOURITE! I love that it shines though that Suzie didn't launch her channel just to have a platform to hear herself talk or just for attention. She's been doing this for so long, it seems as if she's not impressed or driven by the amount of like she gets, she wants to teach us her crafts and skills and it's done so in such a sweet, calm and professional way. To all of us loving nail art, she's like the fairy godmother to us all 😊👑💅

    Hi Susie, though I am not a nail tech by profession, and have been doing my own natural nails for more than 25 years, (until they became very brittle and I had to rely on someone to gel tip them recently -- tee hee), but I was thinking, that maybe if you had done the stamping a hairs breath lower, you might have gotten the full "butterfly effect." Still, I think you did a great job. I myself have spent some money and bought my own acrylic kit, brushes, dremel, etc., as I intend to do my own nails. I also have guides in order to build my nails. But for now, I will still go to the salon until I feel more confident to do my own. I never had to wear tips in my life until now. But the tips look nice, and I could pick things up again. I would love to come out there to meet you, but I am scared of airplanes, especially since I had a stroke. I'm from NYC. Hopefully we will meet someday. I enjoy your vids. Take care.

    I almost wonder if something like this would work a little easier on nails made with Tips instead of forms, that way you don't smush the nail so much? Might want to give it a try Suzie, Love the video! ❤

    • @andreajeffcoat3378
      @andreajeffcoat3378 7 років тому

      Evelyn Rios you beat me to it. Thats what i commented as well. i think the tips would make it easier bc there is a base below it.

    • @emotionallyinvestful
      @emotionallyinvestful 7 років тому

      I don't know that it would matter that much since you are still pushing down hard on the acrylic to get the full stamp in there.

    • @andreajeffcoat3378
      @andreajeffcoat3378 7 років тому

      Yea, i just was wondering since you at least have a base under the acrylic with a nail tip vs a form.

    • @tnskyhawk
      @tnskyhawk 7 років тому

      Evelyn Rios They seem to do better with tips as base. Just put Chisel 3D stamping in UA-cam and then you'll see.

    • @heatherwelberry1
      @heatherwelberry1 6 років тому

      Evelyn Rios CHISEL, the makers of the stamps, have several great videos on UA-cam about exactly how to use these and they prefer tips in all their videos. If you go to the chisel website they also mention tips but you can do it over forms and not press hard.. you must put the stamp on while the product is softer and then leave the stamp in place while you work on other nails until it firms up AROUND the stamp. Then you don't get any distortion from pressing.

    YES You can do it with gel. Apply gel, place 3D tool put into lamp with tool still in place. After its cured, remove hand from lamp and remove 3D tool from nail. Fill in and cure. I thoroughly agree with the others, I think you are a wonderful teacher. I love that you are not afraid to jump in with us by doing things for the first time on camera, inspiring us to never give up because even the professionals have first time technique jitters.

    At first I thought it'd be a gimmick, but I can really see the potential to inlay things like glitter and create that 3D effect. Some of those strange bubble/snow-globe nails could be greatly improved with this tool, you could have "floating" designs inside a translucent base.

    Hey Suzie I had those stamps at my nail school and you can get them to work with gel polish....What you have to do its put a the base color on then add your next coat and make it as thick as you can place the stamp on the nail and nuke the whole the it makes a little indentation that you can fill with different colors and file smooth then top coat!! 😁

    ooh, Suzie, I think these stamps would go great on aqua colored nails. imagine you put little beads or glitter in and fill in with clear gel :D

    Suzie is so sassy & extra I ❤ it! All her cardigans look cosy too. I'm a new fan (please forgive me if you've already done so) but a 'how to keep your nails heathy', 'top 5 nail no-no's', 'how to pick a nail salon' type videos would be great.

    I came from Jenna Marbles and I stayed for the amazing content, I've literally spent all night and day today binge watching your videos. I am a fellow nail tech in NS, Canada. Your videos have inspired me to want to learn so much more about acrylic, unfortunately I was only taught with gel. Now watching your videos I see I really missed out not being taught acrylic. But thanks to you and your videos I am learning. Thanks for the amazing lessons, I've learned so much already!!! xo, :)
