Fab video. Lovely photos you have too. We had a stowaway and it was so comfy to ride. Proof you don't need the latest bike to do this trip - it's about doing the journey and the memories you make.

Hahaha, what an awesome trip! Many thanks for sharing. This brings me happy memories of my years in Dublin, I used to go to work on a bike quite similar to those, also with backpacks to carry all the stuff. But, in the end, I also used that bike for trips around Dublin and Cork. A lovely bike I still miss a lot!

Great effort guys! I’ve got several 20s and they are heavy and slow, especially on the original tyres. I’ve also ridden that route on a touring bike, and definitely not easy on a stowaway 😅

That was excellent gents! I was amazed at the speeds you got going downhill. I have a bike from 1997 with the same dubious caliper brakes, so hats off to you. Did you spruce them up at all?

@@sarahs784Hi🙌🙌Thank you for such a lovely comment 🙌🙌we knew it would be difficult on those bikes🤣🤣🤣it was a really big challenge🤣🤣the brakes were not repaired🙌🙌🙌they stayed as they were. but they worked surprisingly well🤩🤩🤩We had a lot of laughs, that's for sure🤩🤩🤩We definitely recommend it🚴🚴♂️have a great time with your bike 🙌🙌🙌enjoy cycling 🚴🚴♂️🙏🙏we are planning another trip already 😂😂🙌🙌
