    It is a lovey piece. Although I would of use oasis for better manipulation of the flowers since the container is shallow and the possibility of getting off water. Over all is very cute with a white container, refreshing look...

    So beautiful! How do they dry? I mean the natural flowers.

      I don't know, for sure Some are naturally dried and some go through a voodoo chemical process and are bleached and rubbery like the Ruscus. It's wild.

    I love this! Love your humor and your style! I like boho, but pampas grass, not so nice! Hate the shedding!

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      Thank you! Pampas grass can be a bear when it sheds all over the place! If you really want to use it, take it outside and give it a good shake and then spray it with an aerosol hairspray (like Aquanet). This will help to minimize (but not completely stop) tons of shedding!

    I love this! I went to the Dollar Tree and bought that organizer yesterday and practiced with greenery from my yard and faux flowers. Question: How much would you guess you spent in product? Also, could the organizer be spray painted?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      Great! It's a perfect option for a simple and inexpensive container! You can definitely spray paint the container if you need to change the color! With arrangements like this you can definitely spend more if you're doing a very heavy petal on petal look, adding more greenery to an arrangement will definitely help to bring cost down!

    Love this video! Can you tell me what the name is of the other filler flower that looks similar to the baby’s breath but it had more of a peach coloring to it. You used it in the beginning on the sides to cover mechanics.

      For a photo shoot we were doing, we had to get some Limonium so that's what we used here! On our site, you could get tinted peach/terracotta babies' breath for the same look and it's less seasonal.

    Looks great!!
    How do you transport them to the event?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      Thank you! We like to keep the long boxes that the flowers come in for easy transport! You can pour out a little bit of water to make sure that nothing sloshes during transit and take some old towels and nestle them around the arrangements to keep them from shifting! When you get to the venue, make sure to top the water off inside the containers!

    For the floral tape, some tape it with grid and some florists don't. What's the difference between taping as a grid or with only 2 lines of tape? What is more advised or better to do?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  4 місяці тому +1

      A grid is a great way to give your stems something to "grab" onto while you're getting started. Once you have more stems in place, they will use each other for support but the tape will do that until you have enough stems in the design. But in the flower world, there's usually more than one way to do something and a grid or 2 lines are both right!

    Does the chicken wire need to be green coated?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  2 роки тому +1

      Nope, I know florists who find flexible chicken wire in silver at Home Depot. I've never seen it, but the stuff at Lowes is too ridge to bend and will tear up your hands. I'm not sure if the silver rusts eventually, but I know that people use it just fine.
      Personally, I like green because it's softer and easy to reuse.

    how much does that cost to make?

    • @FlowerMoxie
      @FlowerMoxie  Рік тому

      After dividing bunches of blooms and the dried materials, you should estimate spending anywhere from $40-$50 dollars per arrangement (including materials) However, based on types of flowers and if you were to add more greenery and less floral, you can bring the price down or up!

    Majority of items like the plastic containers you use) along with the scissors and zip ties and rubber bands are not eco friendly. I think people like to cherry pick when they want to be one with the environment yet consume themselves with wasteful products. I am all about the environment but people complaining about foam also need to focus on their own life choices before jumping on the eco friendly bandwagon lol. Nobody wants to hurt the environment (for the most part) but we are all guilty of over consumption with items that are not free from harmful products. All we can do is our best but bashing people for using something doesn't help (not saying people are in this scenario but a lot of florists get trashed on for certain items they use)
    Love watching your videos btw!!

      I think we can all agree that any step we all take towards living a more eco friendly life is always going to be a move in the right direction! Whether it's a reusable water bottle or trying to incorporate more eco friendly practices into your floral practice are going to be beneficial in the long run! Small steps towards a bigger goal always are better than nothing!
