Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers) believes she is answering a calling to be the first female exorcist… but who, or what, called her? In response to a global rise in demonic possessions, Ann seeks out a place at an exorcism school reopened by the Catholic Church. Until now these schools have only trained priests in the Rite of Exorcism - but a professor (Colin Salmon) recognizes Sister Ann’s gifts and agrees to train her. Thrust onto the spiritual frontline with fellow student Father Dante (Christian Navarro), Sister Ann finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl, who Sister Ann believes is possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years ago. Determined to root out the evil, Ann soon realizes the Devil has her right where he wants her.

It's amazing how the cameraman always get out of these situations without a bruise. And he is always catching the interesting stuff while the heros look at the wrong spots!

This could honestly be a dope franchise school teaching how to get rid of demons multiple stories on different possessions

There's a yearly conference in Rome where the exorcists and their helpers gather from all over the world It's pretty impressive.
We've just watched it, very good film, deserves better scores on IMDB to be honest. We are hoping there will be a sequel :)

She had to fight hard within, against what about her own life, her deep feelings about it all, being demonically used to try to possess her. She was having a bit of a problem with it, but she won and expelled the demon that went into her, that she had already expelled out of the girl child. I love how she looks at the statue of Archangel Michael in the end. That's exactly who helped her defeat. It's a good movie in the sense that she decided as a nun, to study the psychological conditions, problems, life trauma, etcetera, of possessed, before they were possessed. She became only the second woman in 700 years of history, to be officially recognized by The Catholic Church, to be allowed to become an expert exorcist, after Catherine of Siena. Extremely interesting movie.
It’s a decent movie…don’t trust the critics scores, solid B+ hopefully we can get a sequel

Well put together movie, nice scenes and smart storyline deserves better ratings. Look forward to a follow up!

I recently saw the original exorcist remastered and had to walk out the theater knowing my boyfriend couldn’t stay with me that night I was afraid to be home alone, this is one genre of horror that scares me

Exorcist 1 & 3 are litterly the only 2 movie that scared the sh$t out of me 3 more than 1 & i did watch it alone. Regardless I watched 1 a 2nd time & will never watch 3 again because I watched it while living in a house that was haunted. It did go well (I knew the spirit before he died but didn't know the evil things he did till years after I moved out - unfortunately a relative). Exorcist 2 was not even worth the watch. However I am so looking forward to seeing this movie tomorrow.

whatever you do, do NOT LISTEN to the actual exorcism using earphone or speaker to Emily Rose! There was a book written warning those to NOT READ IT, ESPECIALLY IN THEIR HOMES. These spirit entities are effective through the computer or technology. The spiritual realm has no boundaries in which to cross.
