What a great and honest review. I wish you didn’t have to make this kind of review, but it is what it is. I have to totally agree with you and I love Kringle. I thought the fall release was very lackluster and the strength and throw is subpar. I am burning Leaf Peepers on the large jar and I can BARELY smell anything. It’s really disappointing when people spend their money and hardly get anything out of it. As you mentioned, I am still looking forward to Kringle’s release for fall 2024. I’m sure it’ll be improved because it seems like they do listen to their customers.
I’m with you!! Having Kringle out of the game this autumn leaves a huge hole. Thankfully there are still a lot of great ones from last year still on the website 😉
I appreciate your in depth thoughts on this collection. Although I’m a Kringle enthusiast, I agree that the Autumn collection did not offer much for those of us who don’t care for gourmands. I picked up 5 fragrances in melts. The 2 I liked (not loved) were Autumn Spice & Leaf Peeper. I would pick up one of each on sale. It is ok, as you said, to have misses. 🤷♀️ Better luck🍀 next year for fabulous fragrances.🍁
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! While admittedly I am one of those people who have a hard time finding fault in Kringle( I sincerely yet to have a problem with strength and throw, and for the most part I truly love their fragrances.) I have to admit while I still am wicked excited for this fall release(Im waiting til my yearly trip to both Flagships on Yankee's Halloween release date). I dont find this collection as exciting as last year. I think part of the issue is the cry for more gourmand scents, while I love gourmand they aren't my first choice and or go to. Im still really excited to smell Bourbon Bonfire, Apple Pumpkin Pie(sometimes I just love a basic scent), and most of all Leaf Peeper(might be the New England in me). I was intrigued by Vineyard, but I just cant with a candied grape. Even though you were critical I really appreciate your time and thoughts. Not trying to throw shade towards Kent, but he is just not my cuppa. Its hard for me to take anyone seriously when they are consistently negative and I just dont have the Same experiences( while I do believe he is giving his honest feedback.) Not all candles/companies are for everyone and that is ok. I feel like you do a great job of mixing the good with the bad. Thanks again!
When I saw the 😩 in the title, I knew we were in for a ride. I love that you went off on the wax colors lol! I'm a big kringle fan, but I have to agree with your take here. I was just really underwhelmed. I'm also pretty sure I know the "this year's release is better than last year's" moment you're referring to, because I had the same reaction when they said that: um, what?!?? Oh well, more money to spend on the Halloween candles, I guess. I'm a big fan of redrum- hope you enjoy it!
I love your channel. You are the first one that I feel like is being honest. Except for Kent. I love his channel as well. These candles are horrible. I’ve almost quit purchasing from them because I wasn’t that impressed with the spring summer line as well. For the price point, these candles should be much better.
First, let me say scents (whether candles/perfumes or the like) are individually subjective. Even the throw of a said candle depends on room size, high ceilings, we all get it. I'm on team Kent and he has always been transparent and thorough on any/all of his reviews - he has not steered me wrong yet! I find it sad in this forum (youtube/social media) that when someone is giving a "not so glowing" review it equates to being negative. Yet we want "honest" reviews right - HUM... The more I watch your reviews (new subbie) the more I like you and wished I found you sooner!!
Yeah…. Big yawn. Clearly, all these ambassadors continue to tip toe and not be honest. They all lost any credibility they had in my eyes. I bought into the hype and severely disappointed. Don’t get me started on the Facebook group
Honestly I would say that gourmand is actually not their strongest suit. They have a couple gourmands that are authentic and above average, but overall their strengths lie elsewhere. I’d leave the gourmands to HomeWorx and BBW.
I've been wondering about the kringle kitchen spice. I really like the cardamon note in the Yankee version. I just ordered the kringle one in wax melts .. We'll see
All this talk about honesty is condescending, to be honest. My honest thoughts here as somebody who purchased several full-sized candles (not just the samplers). Cherry Crumble is fantastic, strongly scented, and perfectly timed since cherries are in season right now. Have nearly burned the entire jar. Apple Pumpkin Pie is an impeccably-spiced pumpkin pie fragrance. Also strongly scented. There’s a huge gap on the market for a good pumpkin pie candle. I love the colors in the Country line. Love autumn foliage, too. Am already planning my next Kringle purchase. Looking forward to Warm Cinnabuns, Leaf Peeper, Pumpkin Waffles, Rosemary Applerita, another Cherry Crumble and another Apple Pumpkin Pie. I expect a lot from my candles and have not been disappointed this fall by Kringle.

I only picked up Bourbon Bonfire, I was not interested in the others tbh. Maybe I would have picked up Leaf Pepper but I decided not to.
I think you made a good decision, on both 😉

I like generic candles but I don’t like Kringles spice candles. I bought a apple pie candle last year and donated it. It was awful

@@coffeecandles3359homeworks apple pie is fantastic
The kitchen spice candle wasnt good either. The traditional kitchen spice Yankee candles is way better
I’m not surprised

Kitchen Spice from YC is really special 🥰
