Idk if that’s a joke or not but I wouldn’t give it to stellantis when 2 of those cars where first released during the dimler Chrysler era and the challenger came during the fiat Chrysler days before they became stellantis and the current designs are from when it was still fiat Chrysler and then to be honest these two are obviously the same cars with slight differences
@@coltontroxler934 Daimler Chrysler for those wondering; Anyway- give credit to Fiat & then FCA, or more importantly their CEO Sergio Marchionne (rip). He saw the value in saving Mopar as a whole, also greenlighted the upgrading of the existing cars to make them more competitive as well as driving improved quality control to get these cars somewhat reliable overall. Sergio was also responsible for pushing the engineers in developing what became the beloved Hellcat, making them go back to the drawing board several times for either inadequate horsepower and/or inadequate reliability. He sadly passed in July 2018, and unfortunately with him died the insane next-gen L-cars that were a priority until the Stellantis merger(2023+ m.y. under Sergios plan). What was in store for next-gen L cars truly would've expanded on all that we loved about the current vehicles. Lighter weights, far better interior materials/layouts, and retention of V8 engines- likely Gen III family still at launch, but new lightweight aluminum multi-valve engines would show up for that generation. In 2018 FCA was speaking of continuing the HEMI branding/architecture moving forward, but we will never know what would've been... That is unless Stellantis CEO Carlo Tavares changes course at some point and gives Mopar enthusiasts what they really want- a new modern V8 that can go toe-to-toe with the best out there. I will say this- if Stellantis can actually start selling cars that have some efficiency in numbers, they may just create the breathing room needed to launch a new V8 family just for the halo cars. They will however not be paying penalties or buying credits from Tesla just to sell 60k V8s a year. That was the problem ultimately ended Mopar passenger car V8's this time around. Ford and GM sell plenty of small, efficient vehicles that allow them to indulge in the fuel-sucking V8's we all love. Dodge unfortunately stopped selling normal cars, and that's what killed the HEMI in the end.
Currently own a regular 392 and to be honest if the 300s came in a 6.4 when I bought my 392 I would have choosen it over the Charger. I love both but always thought the 300s looked better and more refined. Like you said, great to do business in and Im business minded.
I cant lie as much as i love a widebody charger ima go chrysler 300C. Just for the simple fact you never going to see them on the road. It got that rare feeling to it. you see scatpacks everywhere.

Great comparison ....I looked at both the 300 and the charger , I just preferred the more mature feel of the 300. but strangely the deciding factor was that the ride in the back of the charger felt a little claustrophobic where in the 300 it felt airy and spacious. Getting a 4 door assumes you'll have passengers in the back seats and on a road trip the 300 is a better place to be....it was close though.
I was going to order one of those 300C in all black during the pre-order. At the last second, I did not press submit. I have always wanted one, just never bought it.
i had a chrysler 300 2008 with a v6 and i fell in love with chryslers i really want a 2023 c man i started working so i might just give up years of my life just to finance one
My brother was given a 300 by our grandmother for his first car. It's such a ballsy car. Even with the V6. Really a shame they're doing away with it for now.
Great video I had a WB scat luv that car but have always been a fan of the 300. I wanted Chrysler to put the 6.2 in it, but I'm happy with the 6.4. People are whining about 160 on the dash and 245 tires that you can easily replace. The 300C interior is much nicer 300C all day.
Its definitely fitting that they sent off the 300C with the big 392 seeing that the 300 was one of the earliest cars to have the Hemi. A few other cars had versions of it prior but the 300 had a beefy ass Hemi in 1955. Gotta send the 300 out proper. Been debating about getting rid of one of my other cars or the 2014 300 SRT8 for one of these last calls but i'm sure all 2200 of em have been accounted for
I’m seriously thinking about adding one to my collection. I ordered a 23’ Charger Redeye-Jailbreak and got totally f-cked over on the price. Went from MSRP to 40k ADM and told my dealer to have a nice day! I saved and got a 21’ Redeye for just 78k and couldn’t be happier. I thought about getting a SPWB for a daily but they been wanting way too much for those too. A 300C is the perfect alternative and has way more bells and whistles, much better interior, even a lovely Panoramic roof and astonishingly cheaper! With the money I saved with getting a 21 Redeye from a private seller I can comfortably have both as long as I don’t get price gouged again. Having a 1/2200 well equipped car for just 55k would be a sweet deal!
I would go with the 300C because it's the last year but it really would of been nice if they could made it a optional AWD but of course...more money...very nice very RACER X👍👍
We have a 2013 300 SRT 8 392 with 9100 miles kept in the garage driven enough to keep it maintained. What some people did not know is you can access launch control. The Goodyear tires needed to be changed. Before I changed them I ran a 3.8 0 to 60. They did not hook well. I have yet to test with the new tires, I'm guessing 3.6
I just noticed they took the vents for the back passengers out for no reason in the charger. Had two chargers that had the back vents. Crazy since the price is almost 70k
That’s crazy. I know what u mean. My 41k Charger RT is a 2015 and has a rear seat armrest with a little compartment and lighted cupholders. My 90k 21’ Redeye does not have a rear armrest at all lol. Also my 15’ has a locking gas cap with a release button on the drivers door. 21 doesn’t lock 🤦🏾
I was thinking of getting a 23 WB Scat Charger, but with all the markups- was lucky to find a beautiful velvet red pearl 23 309C 392 for under sticker and bought it, fast! First time test driving a 300C and I was laughing and smiling. A definite sleeper when on the road and an absolute beast for performance fun with luxury interior and options. A great combo!
I'd def go with the 300C,Too me I like the more"Sleeper"Feel of it,Plus it's like 20k cheaper at least ALL DAY LONG! I'm a lil biased though having just got a 14 300C with the 5.7 Hemi,My next Will Def be a SRT8 300 or Even this 300C Someday!IGreat Comparison 🤘👍
Hey, Racer X….that’s a great comparison with the 300C and the Scatpack WB. They are pretty much the same car….I mean, they check the same boxes. The 300C is a little more luxurious, more elegant, even when the Charger is decked out. The Scatpack WB is much more sportier and Muscle Car looking, even when the 300C has the same engine. I’m pretty sure that the difference in tires, brakes and aerodynamic design makes the Charger a little faster, and of course, it’s the most sought after car in the Market…but….MAN….almost 13K difference??? It’s not that the Scatpack WB decked out isn’t worth it….it’s that WHY would I spend 13K more for just about the SAME car, specially if I’m NOT a Rich Guy? If you’re just a regular working man, with a Job, even a good paying Job, and without a UTube Channel…it’s a no brainer! I’ll make the Exception with the Daytona 392 if I could get it around 58K, even if that meant loosing the widebody. I just love the Daytona too much. (I have the 5.7L). But between the 300C & the Scatpack WB, the 300C is the Best Package for the Price, and it will also be the most limited of the editions. 😎⚓️
@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337they should’ve came with the 300’s panoramic roof, they cost enough and they might as well have had them. Even the 200 had it!
I just took home a new 392 last call 23’ 300C. The interior is way better than both my RT & Redeye (even has black Hellcat seats with “300C” logo embossed on the seat backs. I love the blue in the gauges & screen and wish the Charger had it instead of the red. I’m glad to have both but given a choice I’d have the 300 dash in both
I believe your tag showed the 300C ended production in 2010. Actually, the last year for 300C with the standard 5.7 Hemi was model year 2020. Comparing the two cars. With the exception of the side seat bolstering and carbon fiber appointments. The interior is identical to past top of the line 300C models. Est weight is around 4200 lbs
You're right, I sold my 2013 300 C John Varvatos Edition just before taking delivery of my 23 C, and the specs are basically identical. The only luxury or safety thing my 23 has that my 13 didn't have is lane keep assist.
I have a 300c srt8 6.1L hemi running 425 horsepower still think the 6.1L hemi needs cridet running same power as old school 426 Hemi an I really like first generation I think the boot ends on the new crysler are a tad big an fronts lights look better as well on first crysler
I'd take the 300 and debadge it, maybe put a "300S" badge on it instead. It would attract far less attention than it's Charger counterpoint and I wouldn't have as high of a chance of being robbed. Crazy that I have to even say that, being targeted for the car you drive is genuinely a concern now.
I have a 300 that I put a HHP 6.4 in so people still think it is a 5.7. I get no looks on the street from racers or cops. Then I shock the heck out of them. A Grand Cherokee SRT thought I was a 5.7 and got a big surprise. Nothing like low profile!
It’s so sad and pathetic! These brokies & hoodrats put way more effort into stealing from ppl than just working legitimately and buying their own shit. Ppl like us work hard to enjoy the fruits of our labor and do shit the right way , save money, build credit, work everyday, spend wisely, pay our bills on time, maintain registration & insurance and we gotta ride with pistols in our lap just to go to the store with these cars🤷🏾
300C for sure. With much fewer 300s out there, we won't see them plastered all over bottom tier apartment complexes in disrepair like we already do with Chargers. I used to love Chargers/Challengers, but lately they are rivaling Altima's & Mustangs in negative reputation.
I don’t know where you are looking but nowhere do I see $60k+ WBSP in any form at bottom tier apartments. As the 300 is cheaper your argument doesn’t hold up, if you are basing it on affordability/income.
@@jwp882000 Just because you can't understand something doesn't mean my comment doesn't hold. As said, there are far fewer 300s being manufactured. Yes, a decades worth of used Chargers, just like Altimas, already litter the bottom tier apt complexes commonly beat up or uninsured. The vast majority of the population which are not enthusiasts don't see/care any difference between that $60k charger someone over paid on and a 10 year old run down SXT. It really 'cheapens' their image whether you like it or not.
@@mikedaleiden7725thanks Mike. I thought the article was comparing 300’s to WB’s so I guess everyone but you misunderstood the entire premise of the article. I know it’s tough alway being the smartest person online but you are doing a great job managing the pressure.
The C is a steal, the infotainment is upgradable (which i havebin mine and damn, theres no going back), its 10k cheaper than the Charger, with that, you can upgrade the wheels, get a liberty walk widebody kit, new hood, some performance mods and still have spare change
They are exactly the same car. Same frame same platform. Only difference is the outer shell and interior so either one is a win. I’d still prefer the 300 looks wise
The Widebody gets the better suspension and Wheels. 300C gets a higher Rev limiter. Top speed is higher in Charger (185) as opposed to the 300C limited at 160mph. Charger get the upgraded Uconnect and linelock. 300C does not. There is some differences performance wise as well, but overall same car. My Challenger felt faster, but the C is sleek
I wouldn't mind having a new 300C 6.4, but my 2006 300C 5.7 already puts down 413HP/418TQ to the tire, so there isn't much of a point, other than to have the new amenities and maybe better reliability. But we're comparing a $8,000 car vs a $56,000 car...
@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337 Sure, let me pull 50K out of my ass, or have a $1000/mo car payment just to have a car that puts down the same amount of power. I like having the title and a $0 car payment. I already have a new car. Don't need another. If you run an $56,000 car into a wall at the strip, you're stuck paying on a car you don't even have anymore. Insurance will tell you to pound sand.
300C all the way!
I’d take the 300C in this comparison. It’s a bit cheaper for a bit more quality, and a bit more rarer.
Hi from Australia dude, great video man.
I love and admire the 300C. I own a 300S 5.7L - very pleased with it. Dealer service department? I've had to resort to a local independent shop.
Currently own a regular 392 and to be honest if the 300s came in a 6.4 when I bought my 392 I would have choosen it over the Charger. I love both but always thought the 300s looked better and more refined. Like you said, great to do business in and Im business minded.
You better keep that charger boy after all that money you invested to get it. That charger is a life long vehicle
@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337 why do you say that ?
@@slicelol1463 It's true
AwesomeX《☆》Nice Comparo Brother👍🍺🤳I'd go for the 300C. It's easier to park😁👉🛳I'm getting close the ol 7zero myself. Happy Birthday Pops✌️😎☯️
I love mine. It’s luxurious & powerful.
I cant lie as much as i love a widebody charger ima go chrysler 300C. Just for the simple fact you never going to see them on the road. It got that rare feeling to it. you see scatpacks everywhere.
That turn nob really kills it for me
300C
Great Video..thx
This is my 3rd LX...First two were Challengers, I love my Ol' Man, 4 Door Sedan. Got lucky and Found a Brite White 2023 300C someone ordered and passed on it (Looney Duck) 😜😎. Getting Groceries In Classy Style and FAST !!!
300C picks up smoother, sounds nicer, would pick it over the Scat
I was going to order one of those 300C in all black during the pre-order. At the last second, I did not press submit. I have always wanted one, just never bought it.
i had a chrysler 300 2008 with a v6 and i fell in love with chryslers i really want a 2023 c man i started working so i might just give up years of my life just to finance one
My brother was given a 300 by our grandmother for his first car. It's such a ballsy car. Even with the V6. Really a shame they're doing away with it for now.
I would go for 300C. I don’t see many on the streets. Widebody Chargers are plentiful.
"Happy Birthday Mr. DadX !" 🥳 I would take the sleeper 300C. Great video RacerX. 😁👍
Thanks buddy
300c just becasue chargers are everywhere.
In my opinion the 300c looks really good
Great video I had a WB scat luv that car but have always been a fan of the 300. I wanted Chrysler to put the 6.2 in it, but I'm happy with the 6.4. People are whining about 160 on the dash and 245 tires that you can easily replace. The 300C interior is much nicer 300C all day.
Wish you would’ve mentioned what kind of drive modes the Chrysler has. But great video regardless
Auto mode that allows for the MDS to run, sport, track and custom. Also has the adaptive suspension and active exhaust.
I don’t think you could go wrong either way. I have a 2023 Scatpack Widebody and absolutely love it. My first Dodge coming from a Shelby GT-350.
Nothing compared to the 12-14 300srt !!! That’s the car to have💪🏼
We have a 2013
300 SRT 8 392 with 9100 miles kept in the garage driven enough to keep it maintained.
What some people did not know is you can access launch control.
The Goodyear tires needed to be changed.
Before I changed them I ran a 3.8 0 to 60.
They did not hook well.
I have yet to test with the new tires, I'm guessing 3.6
And Off We Go🔥🔥🔥
The Chrysler is the better looking of the two. Not only is it luxury but has the power to go with it.
It is now for the wide body 6 piston in back and now it’s 4 piston from the 2018 Demond started in 2021
A big happy birthday to your dad!!🎉
300c is better and more rare only 2,200 made and there’s like 20k plus scat packs wb are made
Also the 300c has the adjustable pedals, which the scat pack doesn’t have….
The 300 C doesn't have adjustable pedals...I own one.
@@jasonemmett7424 I have a 2023 300c it has the adjustable pedals…
I was thinking of getting a 23 WB Scat Charger, but with all the markups- was lucky to find a beautiful velvet red pearl 23 309C 392 for under sticker and bought it, fast! First time test driving a 300C and I was laughing and smiling. A definite sleeper when on the road and an absolute beast for performance fun with luxury interior and options. A great combo!
Happy B-Day pops!!, My daughter's birthday is today also!
I got the red 300c can’t go wrong power and a lil more luxury..
If you want to swap out the selector switch on the charger and 300 just swap them out. The plugs are identical. Same thing just cosmetic.
I'll take the 300 please
Happy birthday racerx dad
I'd def go with the 300C,Too me I like the more"Sleeper"Feel of it,Plus it's like 20k cheaper at least ALL DAY LONG! I'm a lil biased though having just got a 14 300C with the 5.7 Hemi,My next Will Def be a SRT8 300 or Even this 300C Someday!IGreat Comparison 🤘👍
🏆Racer X 🏆🍀😎✌️
🎉Happy birthday🎂to your dad 70 🍀 years young 😎✌️
Scat isn’t going to best that 300
WB too heavy. 315 tires are heavy, plus all the other stuff
Not a fan of Chrysler/Dodge, but the 300C does look good.
If Dodge could put the 300 interior inside the charger, including the sunroof, it would be amazing!
You can add sun roof
@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337they should’ve came with the 300’s panoramic roof, they cost enough and they might as well have had them. Even the 200 had it!
Indeed! The panoramic roof would’ve been great on the Charger too
Agree charger is beautiful looking but interior sucks.
I just took home a new 392 last call 23’ 300C. The interior is way better than both my RT & Redeye (even has black Hellcat seats with “300C” logo embossed on the seat backs. I love the blue in the gauges & screen and wish the Charger had it instead of the red. I’m glad to have both but given a choice I’d have the 300 dash in both
Got my 2023 scat pack for 51,000
If a decent interior matters to you? You go with the 300c....
It's terrible how the entire muscle/pony car sector is being erased. Wonder how long we will have the Mustang? Sorry, EVs doesn't get it.
I have a 300c srt8 6.1L hemi running 425 horsepower still think the 6.1L hemi needs cridet running same power as old school 426 Hemi an I really like first generation I think the boot ends on the new crysler are a tad big an fronts lights look better as well on first crysler
Happy Birthday OG
300C >. Same engine but a nicer interior+ classier.
@@jwp882000 Which is why I voted 300, but you missed very first sentence. Easy solution for you: stop typing to stop making such a fool of yourself.
300 C All the way
If they made a awd 392 300 I wouldn’t even have my hellcat.just build the internals and get a pickup .
The C is a steal, the infotainment is upgradable (which i havebin mine and damn, theres no going back), its 10k cheaper than the Charger, with that, you can upgrade the wheels, get a liberty walk widebody kit, new hood, some performance mods and still have spare change
300c is looking better, But I'd still take the Scat.
I would but the 300c
Time for you to upgrade
@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337 Sure, let me pull 50K out of my ass, or have a $1000/mo car payment just to have a car that puts down the same amount of power. I like having the title and a $0 car payment. I already have a new car. Don't need another. If you run an $56,000 car into a wall at the strip, you're stuck paying on a car you don't even have anymore. Insurance will tell you to pound sand. You send an $8,000 car into a wall that you OWN, well, you just shrug and write it off.
