Nostalgia hits hard!
Cool design choices everywhere like the 8-bit beeps that turn into heavy metal during nights (a little bit reminiscent of Rogue Tower) or how the stat numbers pop out a little when you hover over the talent tree descriptions.

This one's been sitting in my library for a little bit, looks more interesting than I expected
It's pretty good. Lot of content for a $3 game.
For the most part I would say this games metaprogression is closer to that of Brotato. Unlocking more things that can randomly appear in the talent trees and thus making runs more varied.
BTW each class changes things up more than you might think. Each one solidly has its own identity.

Fun little game, although a bit drab for me. I just wished they used more imaginative colours. I'm all for retro but sometimes you just wish for more you know
More color would be nice...maybe they went a bit to retro haha.
