UA has more going for it than just heroes , they support course building all sorts of machines and items and general studies where you can just get a regular education, you’re not required to get involved with superhero shenaniganary if you don’t want to

“Everyone’s civil” (shows Bakugo). In all honesty, Bakugo is still not as bad as the other places, but still. If I was Deku and had the power to do so, I probably would’ve beaten him into submission ASAP.
Eh, by the time he got the power to do so (and easily, if he stopped holding back so much), they had arrived at a school where Bakugo went from being a big fish in a small pond to being a big fish in a deep ocean, where all of his classmates were also big fish and more than willing to pop his bubble rather than enable him whenever he started trying to pick on someone.
Same Bakugo is a good character and certainly has the potential to be a good hero. But he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a mountain, with an ego as large as a moon. The idea of humility or being humble might as well be alien to him. Because he certainly wasn't encouraged let alone taught these concepts.
Deku and Bakugo are mirror images of one another. Both of them took inspiration from all might, unfortunately they both only saw a piece of what he represents. Bakugo was on the path of homicide, and Deku was on the path of suicide.

The difference is that, at UA, if your not in the hero classes your not getting getting smoke with any villains. The only time their in danger is near the end, and thats because japan has fallen into what's essentially a civil war at this point

UA is better than any university I've ever heard of. Every staff member cares and does their job. They mentor, not just lecture. They have funding, safety, and great dorm facilities. They actively set up internships and networking to prep students for their career post-graduation. Even when they are getting attacked, they immediately have the strongest people around to protect you.
Not to mention that in the comics they kidnapped children to turn them into supers, and don't get me started on what Godolkin did to those children that even Vought hated It.

I'm so Glad I watched Gen V so I could understand this post. It was good u should give it a watch. Honestly Going to School at UA would get annoying just because of how often they get attacked. The people there are nice but that's the only plus really. I ain't stepping foot in The boys Universe so that's a NO. Yeah no way José, I definitely would not be taking Godolkin University from _Gen V_ just so I won’t get abused and tortured by the students and becoming the next Homelander. I’m in the middle with Sky High and Xavier School of Gifted Youngsters, cause although both are better then Godolkin in the former you’re either stationed as "Hero” or "Sidekick" by Coach Boomer and if you end up being given the latter you will be ridiculed and made fun off by some of the Heroes students, while the latter is lack of security and the various dangers coming at every door. For UA, the students and faculty are civil with each other and most of them treat each other with respect despite some rivalries, I definitely wouldn’t mind hanging out with the Class 1-A students such as Izuku, Ochaco and especially Denki and Mina, but you will deal with some students abusing their powers and the various attacks happening left and right. So my money I choose either Sky High or UA.

Not really, that only happened like, once in the second day and only with All Might. Everysingle time afterwards, they always stepped in. When Bakugo was starting to try and keep fighting with Shoto, Midnight put him to sleep. When Bakugo and Izuku fought between each other, Aizawa grounded both and gave Bakugo the harsher punishment. And even when both Izuku and Shoto almost murked each other, both Midnight and Cementos intervened. So no, they really don't watch their students abuse each other at all
I think I know what examples you mean from UA but I believe it’s not as bad as in Sky High. In UA the students were in sparring matches and a tournament when adults were present to students attacking each other but the adults were always ready to step in. Meanwhile in sky high the characters were at lunch in this example and no one was stepping in to stop the fire guy from incinerating the MC.

There is one thing you forgot and that is the epic security system they have, sure it probably won't stop shigaraki or any of the other villains, but at least they made the conscious choice to at least try to make the school a fortress

Well thats completely wrong. The USJ attack was the very first time they'd had anything of that level happen, which is why everyone was so shocked, and I cant remember a single time in the early series when everything was fairly normal where anyone used their power outside of training.

I actually prefer Sky High over UA, just think about it, at least your powers will be recognize as useful, in UA, a guy with mind control ability gets downgraded, while a guy with a fucking tail succeeded, i mean sure the idea of being told youre only a "Sidekick", but at least its understandable and somewhat fair, also you can prove yourself to be a Hero, ALSO ALSO! From the looks of it, the school is successful in making Heroes, of course mistakes are made, and bad things can happen, but but unlike UA, you wont risk dying! Long story short, theres more benefits with Sky High than with UA.
also Sky High teaches how to make super tech like freeze rays. UA has some pretty good tech too, but besides the robots it's more grounded in realism. I want to learn to make Freeze Rays damnit
The main thing is the villains. The weakest villain from every school can drop Royal Pain in a heart beat. Also, Stronghold himself said after the incident, "the rest of the year was pretty boring."
The tail guy in UA is equivalent to the "boy with the six arms" (who might be a sex offender) in Sky High and they both got accepted as heroes. Overall, I agree.
I remember having a conversation about this with my mom and she straight up told me "I don't care how hard it is to get into UA,you wouldn't be going! That place gets attacked by Villains like every month! It's my job as a mom to make sure you're safe and that place has too many security issues to ensure that. I'm sure there are other Hero schools you could go too". She was deadass serious too. Love ya Mom XD
Xavier's, easily. It's one of the highest rated universities in the country, to the point that some non-Mutants will attend as well. The teachers there will give you direct guidance, and help you accomplish your life goals. It's not just a super school, it's a family.
There’s no guarantee UA would accept you, at Xaviars you can F up and still be welcomed back, even if the school just blew up and you gotta fix it when you get back.
Not to mention in the X-men universe normal people are constantly trying to wipe out mutants and building new versions of sentinels. At least in all the other ones I’m not hated by normal people.
Another plus of UA - there are more courses than just the Hero Course. They graduate several successful figures in several different fields of work. The school has great security - the League of Villains is just a plot device thrown at the school repeatedly by the creator. That school has been standing *at least* since All Might was young enough to be a student there. All Might is also at least in his 50s by now, which says something about how good that school is about actually not blowing up or falling from the sky. And as it's run by heroes, they aren't going to be experimenting on students, either. UA is the school to go to.
SAME! And all the stuff that is happening in the show isn't actually normal, so on an adverage day, your life wouldn't be threatened by villains until your senior year when you're supposed to do your internship
UA is perfect. It doesn't matter if your power is tape, purple balls or multiple eyes, they WILL bring out the best in you and turn you into pro hero material.

To be fair, part of the plot of Sky High was showing that the system was flawed with it sounding like changes were going to be made at the end.

Not really, that only happened like, once in the second day and only with All Might. Everysingle time afterwards, they always stepped in. When Bakugo was starting to try and keep fighting with Shoto, Midnight put him to sleep. When Bakugo and Izuku fought between each other, Aizawa grounded both and gave Bakugo the harsher punishment. And even when both Izuku and Shoto almost murked each other, both Midnight and Cementos intervened.
So no, they really don't watch their students abuse each other at all
I think I know what examples you mean from UA but I believe it’s not as bad as in Sky High. In UA the students were in sparring matches and a tournament when adults were present to students attacking each other but the adults were always ready to step in. Meanwhile in sky high the characters were at lunch in this example and no one was stepping in to stop the fire guy from incinerating the MC.

There is one thing you forgot and that is the epic security system they have, sure it probably won't stop shigaraki or any of the other villains, but at least they made the conscious choice to at least try to make the school a fortress

I’m sorry going to UA high school is crazy You have students who will abuse their power. And terrorist attacks basically every month the choice is easy sky high. The event that happens in the movie is very abnormal, and you even have basically Superman in the world of sky high.
Well thats completely wrong. The USJ attack was the very first time they'd had anything of that level happen, which is why everyone was so shocked, and I cant remember a single time in the early series when everything was fairly normal where anyone used their power outside of training.

I actually prefer Sky High over UA, just think about it, at least your powers will be recognize as useful, in UA, a guy with mind control ability gets downgraded, while a guy with a fucking tail succeeded, i mean sure the idea of being told youre only a "Sidekick", but at least its understandable and somewhat fair, also you can prove yourself to be a Hero, ALSO ALSO! From the looks of it, the school is successful in making Heroes, of course mistakes are made, and bad things can happen, but but unlike UA, you wont risk dying!
Long story short, theres more benefits with Sky High than with UA.
also Sky High teaches how to make super tech like freeze rays.
UA has some pretty good tech too, but besides the robots it's more grounded in realism.

The main thing is the villains. The weakest villain from every school can drop Royal Pain in a heart beat. Also, Stronghold himself said after the incident, "the rest of the year was pretty boring."

That place gets attacked by Villains like every month! It's my job as a mom to make sure you're safe and that place has too many security issues to ensure that. I'm sure there are other Hero schools you could go too". She was deadass serious too. Love ya Mom XD

Xavier's, easily. It's one of the highest rated universities in the country, to the point that some non-Mutants will attend as well. The teachers there will give you direct guidance, and help you accomplish your life goals. It's not just a super school, it's a family.

Another plus of UA - there are more courses than just the Hero Course. They graduate several successful figures in several different fields of work. The school has great security - the League of Villains is just a plot device thrown at the school repeatedly by the creator. That school has been standing *at least* since All Might was young enough to be a student there. All Might is also at least in his 50s by now, which says something about how good that school is about actually not blowing up or falling from the sky. And as it's run by heroes, they aren't going to be experimenting on students, either. UA is the school to go to.
