This was already a very good and solid casting, but you turned it into a diamond. All I can say is... WOW. You did it again, fantastic as usual! Keep it up my friend.
resto plus is the best thing you could do with this casting, to bring out the original, clean look. :) reminds me that there is a Ford GT90 sitting around here waiting for finishing touches and detailing... it's also full of design details and a one-of-a-kind. ^^
Wonderful work! Enjoyed it with my morning coffee this morning and what a treat! A really interesting concept car and still looks good today! Well done on the +detailing - made all the difference!
Wow that's pretty awesome I enjoyed that very much seeing the seen that car go from what it was to what it is now a fantastic and I got to keep an eye out for that Peugeot myself considering I collect exotic cars so keep up the great work and God bless
if i would have seen this car at a fleamarket, i probably wouldnt have bought it because i was thinking it was missing the engine cover. bit of a strange design imo. but your resto plus is great
I am currently doing restoration of Peugeot quasar matchbox too, going to paint it in white too, and add tiny details, but I will keep the silver interior Update, its done! Painted it white, kept silver interior, painted roof, lights and the letters on the spoiler
Unique casting for sure. And doing a realistic turn on the car is why I like you best. Lol My humble opinion on the lack of A pillars is a missed opportunity. A single stroke with the narrow paint pen on the exterior followed by a matching stroke of the same red on the interior seats mirrored on the canopy might make for an excellent perspective. By all appearances the designers purposely kept the concept pillars very thin to accentuate the streamlined canopy but at the same time to my eyes they add to the mystique of the car overall. A rear 3/4 view of the original shows the pillar extending into the top of the door to the back. Just a small accent line. The width of the 1mm pen really. Nothing extravagant. If you were able to source a second canopy and add those tiny details.... As fir the wiper blade and the very front end of the canopy...I would go for a simple top application...not a complete cover of the wiper. Otherwise it looks odd as a bubble on the wind screen. The nose maybe another application of black on the inside..not the exterior. It is a very smart looking car for sure. And you have done justice to this car. I wonder if you would maybe look into the Monteverdi Hai at some point. I'm working on one. I have found the casting to be quite heavy and easily able to be shaved down to better replicate the original where the Lesney version looks rather bulbous and ungainly. Not at all sleek like the real car. Anyway. My $0.02 . your mileage may vary.
I've seen an article on the Hai in a classic car magazine, and wouldn't call it sleek. XD after all they nestled a chrysler hemi big block behind, and between the seats (hence the big box in the interior, it's on the original, too). but I agree, it looks a bit bulbous from Lesney... maybe a stylish period-correct metallic paint might help with that. if I recall right the original was painted in a deep bronce metallic.
@@lotharrenz4621 🤣 I just googled the car again. Yeah. You're right. It isnt the sleekest car in the world. Subjectively its all kinds of ugly...but after handling the Lesney creation...the real car looks like a dang Ferrari. 😄😄😄. Oh well.
Not only is the restoration great but it really looks good with the white wheels and red interior. Thanks for sharing this.
Very well done. Nice details.

Brillant! Huge improvement Jason I remember this concept on TV at the time and was gutted when it never saw the light of day, rear end looks fantastic
