I think it's a very good job! I have a habit of trying to be too exact when I modify a car. A person must work within what is humanly possible. Never bite off more than you can chew. 😊
Nice work and particularly interesting to me as a Mondeo owner. In the smaller 1/76 scale I had to convert a Sierra Sapphire into a Mk1 Mondeo as that was the closest thing available.
looks great! my, that was a lot of work on these ends, but the result is worth it. :) the only thing would have been that I'd have cut the drivers window open to show a little bit of interior. never mind that soup dish steering wheel, though. XD but, yeah. the only other model of a Mk2 I know of is in 1:43, by Minichamps. Hornby might come around with one in 00 scale, maybe. they upped a lot in that regards (have these tiny models always been so bloody expensive?).
Absolutely buzzing with how this has come out, it will sit pride of place on the dashboard of the Mondeo!
You have become a real pro! I wish you well and say thank you for all the good moments watching you work. Bye!
wow that turned out absolutely stunning!
A very nice job! As always...
Good effortfella...like it!
Sweet!
Looks awesome and I also had one of those Matchbox diecast cars
Job well done considering the extended body modification!
Great job 👍🏻
Beautiful restoration on this Ford Mondeo. That paint and wheels look amazing. I really like the transformation.
excellent work and details, i love making restorations in my video but this level of castomizations is fantastic👏🙂

Awesome creation. Great choice with the grill decal.

Nice Tribute build, details and paint job 👌 👍
Great work. I had A Mondeo ST company car fortunately with free petrol , it was a thirsty beast. 👍
I’m diggin it man, the clay must’ve been a pain. Came out nice though 👍
A remarkable transformation! All I would have done was delete the 1994 from the base and perhaps have made the rear lights a tad smaller 🙂

HARD WORK BUT YOU MADE IT 😁
Great job well done 👍
👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
I could of sent you some of you some of the paint we used in the resto of the ST200
Ah man that could have come in handy!
Dużo pracy z nadwoziem, ale ładny efekt końcowy 💪 Moim zdaniem udana transformacja. Pozdrawiam 🙂.
The Majorrette Mondeo is a hatchback mk1, it also has a sunroof
It is but it also has a plastic base which would be a royal pain to work with
Ah yes this is one of the 3 cars jermey ,may and clarkson all liked. The others were a Renault aventime and I can’t quite rember the last one
❤❤👍👍😊😊
Hi, I also have a rover 620😃never seen it in diecast🥹
Here’s hoping one’ll come along one day 🤞🏻
@DieCastRestos here's an idea maybe submit it to hotwheels or matchbox ask them to make a rover 620 ?
Just a suggestion
The only Rover 600 model ever made appears to be a 1/76 scale 3D print by CMAC Model Railways. Nice model but quite a bit smaller than Matchbox.
