Surprised nobody's commented. Loved Terry as Dax, thought she was perfect for the role and was very upset when they killed her off. Then after a little adjustment I also liked Nicole as the new Dax. Sorta like getting to have your cake and eat it too. It's a crime they haven't extended the DS part of the franchise!
Yeah you really should listen to what the actresses have to say, especially about Berman. Or look into the whole deal with season 1 of TNG and the actresses and how they were treated. Gene wasn't always so great either.
@@gsmontag Berman was in fact also responsible for Riker & Troi not marrying during the TNG series but much later on in Nemesis. Both Jonathan Frakes & Marina Sirtis wanted it but Berman shot it down, instead giving us the short-lived liaison between Worf & Troi in Season 7.
Loved her! Sad when she left. Had such a crush on her

I’m just here to say I agree on all accounts.
I loved her as Dax. She was perfect, the death was gut wrenching. I believe she quit to join a sitcom though.
They killed her off cuz she quit to do Becker TV show.
She was so perfect I felt like the young and inexperienced doctor, too beautiful, but I did crush on Nana Visitor such a strong female character.
There are fans of the US Red Dwarf? That's like a fan base centered around Highlander 2... or Star Trek 5... no... just no.
I was surprised at the level of misogyny with the Star Trek management. Boobs not big enough? Geez.
Yeah they gave her a Seven out of Nine.... Really should not surprise anyone.
@@keithklassen5320 Ouch!

It makes sense for Seven. Non-sexual characters often use exaggerated sexual symbols.
Schwarzenegger as Terminator comes to mind.
