i kinda got the impression from Please Kill Me that Johnny used to sniff glue, smoke pot and shoot stuff - it's kinda not specified in the book, but it's one possible interpretation of what was implied...so i dunno
In Johnny's book "Commando" he admits he used dope up until he was around 20. He quit then after that he would only have three beers at a time at the most and smoke cannabis sometimes to relax.
I love this interview!! Johnny was AWESOME, that's SO COOL that he would do something like that - I mean, throwing Stones (hehe) at the Beatles, that's metaphorically and literally genius!! and yeah, I like the Stones too (but who the hell am I to deny the Beatles' greatness...so I won't)
@punkrockPiE97 Correct he didn't play the bass in the Ramones, but in the tangrine puppets he did, because one of my friends dads was their at the battle of the band, and he verified that Johnny was playing bass.
I think he is dead, but that's my opinion...well, not replying to any of our comments or questions for 13 years. He's either in Jail for life or dead for life lol time will tell I have subscribed just in case he is out and I am still alive in my 90s...50 years ahead. Greetings!
lol agree...Its funny I just had this conversation w/ my parents...and yes Keith really does have a "coolness factor"...I just cant get into the Beatles I find them boring but Revolver is a pretty sweet album...Cheers!

On the Tangerine Puppets he was the bass player. Tommy played the guitar.

Who are you Sir ?
No not true. Joey did a lot of coke in the 80's. Marky and CJ both smoked pot. It's been written in many books about the Ramones.

Well, yes they did. The main difference between Dee Dee's drug habits and everyones else is he became addicted to heroin, resulting in his overdose.

So, Johnny was already an asshole long before the Ramones? I'm shocked.
