does the AE flex stretches at the waist? like for example if I normally wear 30 waist size non-stretch type pants will I be able to wear 28 waist size in these?
Hands down AE flex jeans, been wearing them for almost 5 years with no problems, washed them many times that I don't even remember. They faded a bit but I like the fade too. I pretty much bought all the colors in Jeans, twills that AE has in slim fit. I tried Levis (worst fit in my opinion), Express (too expensive for what you get), Hollister (not a great fit and poor quality), Abercrombie (same as Hollister but with slightly better quality), Calvin Klein (not a great fit in my opinion but I like their colors though). Wish AE have more colors/fades like Levis. I would only buy AE over anything else.. hope this comment helps someone.
I barely discovered these AE flex jeans at Ross, picked some up for $17 plus tax, these jeans are comfortable, I don’t think anything beats them for the money, way more comfortable than anything else I’ve tried so far, and yes I wish they had more colors like Levi’s.
Been real difficult for me to find a good pair of jeans since working out this year has changed my legs and overall body. I think I’m gonna give those AE’s a try.
Vouching for AE here, man. Shorter guy (5'6), and they are the only brand I can reliably get my size in. Their clearance is also a bomb for pants too. Give it a shot if you ever have a chance!
Do they fit true to size? I wear my pants a little lower around the waist where it’s exactly 30in waist. But a little higher on my waist I’m like a 28in so what size should I order? Do they run big or small? Thanks!
I have the same issue with express pants that the bottom flares out an extra inch more then i would like, while ae jeans are perfect right away. For that alone i give it to ae. Also try gap jeans at least for me, there slim fits are perfect, although not as stretchy but they definitely feel sturdier amd better quality to me.
I'm thinking the express skinny jeans would solve the flaring issue. I have a pair of gap slim straight jeans from a while ago, before GapFlex and the japanese selvedge denim. have you tried gapflex?
Express has some banana republic style jeans too that are slim fitting but not as skinny as the pair shown here, I say banana republic because that seems like there every man goes after their 35th birthday😅
AE discontinued their Next Level Flex material and replaced it with Airflex + which is a thicker material and less stretchy. Also, the legs on the slim straights used to have a little room but now they are slightly tighter…. I think the word for this is tapered, right? Anyway, this sucks because I LOVED my 34x34 Slim Straight Next Level Flex jeans. They were freaking perfect. Lightweight, breathable, flexible… Now I’m looking for alternatives and I don’t know where to start
I just picked up some of the airflex slim in 34X32 from Ross and I’m actually impressed, way more comfortable than any Levi’s 511 I’ve tried. It’s crazy that their previous stretch material was better.
If you get the express hyper stretch, get two sizes down at least in waist. I can wear 32 waist with no belt normally but with the express jeans even 30 waist is too big for me
I had a question. My hight is 10'11 should I get a size 30 in length for American eagle Jean's?or a 32 in length? Idk if you could help me, maybe you had to size down on the length? but thanks if you could help 😊
What’s up gents! Do you have experience with AE or Express jeans? Let’s discuss.
@@Nish_M cool, do you have the hyper stretch?
@@Nish_M Do they shrink much?
Yes I have experience I am working from 1985 on the Laundry and I am still Makin development

@@johnlyly7142 maybe, depending on your waist...there's some stretch, but not as much as the express pair.

@@STILLNIGHTPEARL nice. I used to go to Ross back in the day. my parents would go school shopping for me to save money.
Both are good actually
Appreciate these kind of reviews....very informative
My pleasure! Glad you found value out of it.
Great video again! Good to have that comparative approach.
thanks for watching. I figure it'd be good to compare similar styles and such

Good call. lemme know what you think of them after you try 'em out.

@@JadedJawnee They're great for shorter guys for sure. Thanks for the tip! Do you know if their joggers are any good?
the answer is women's jeans. if you have glutes and quads and a small waist, they are tbe key.

Always top notch. This one’s a little youthful for me but I had my 17 year old watch.
that's awesome. at first I thought you were talking about a watch that you had for 17 years and was confused 😅

Personally i LOVE my American eagle flex jeans, both long and shorts as well
For me it’s always AE. Got a pair of them a few years back and fell in love. Haven’t worn them much though cause, ya know, where am I going?
pandemic life, i feel ya.

I dunno..i'm a size 28 and the 28 waist fits me well. It's got plenty of stretch
Thanks for the review. 👍
Yessir, glad it was helpful!
What jeans do you recommend for hot climates? I'm in the market for light breathable jeans.
Go for summerweight jeans. Everlane has some good ones.
Whats the rise on the Express jeans? Thanks
pretty low.
I weight 72 kg and my waist circumfrance is 85 cm shoud i get 28 or 30 inseam?
Black denim jeans.
What about 'em?
@@gentwithin maybe he’s saying we need a video on it!! Haha
You asked to suggest the next review. Can you do black denim jeans? Japanese vs other denim?
@@MikiBlue will certainly consider it!
American eagle is better somehow and cheaper but I wear frame jeans now but anyway American eagle is good and stretchy.
yes, certainly the better value of the 2
Yep
American Eagle are the best in this category but no stress rips
AE is great, but EXPR has been stepping up lately...their jeans are on point this season
I had a question. My hight is 10'11 should I get a size 30 in length for American eagle Jean's?or a 32 in length? Idk if you could help me, maybe you had to size down on the length? but thanks if you could help 😊
10'11? you mean 5'11"? what do you normally get? i'm 5'6" and the 28 is perfect for me. if you're 5'11" go for 30 length
I mean I'm 5'8 😂
And I usually get a size 32 length
@@jasencompdog6850 I see. what kind of break do you like?
The American eagle jeans rip in the crotch don't do a squat as you walk it rubs the thighs and weaken the crotch thus eventually ripping
not sure if this is a question or a statement
@@gentwithin" the" jeans it's a type error
How are you wearing a 36 inseam when you actually have a 28 inch measurement?
36 inseam? what are you talking about lol...my inseam is 28
Do Mott and bow vs Paige
I have experience w/mott & bow. Paige I'll have to look into!
I wear size 31 jeans in ZARA, would AE AirFlex fit in size 30?
i'm not completely sure since i've never tried on zara jeans before, sorry!
Which color this AE is?
it's the dark wash
Your fabrics looks good but the wash so bad brother the destruction is very blue where the wash this Jean's?

American Eagle Made In Bangladesh 😂😂

American Eagle made in Bangladesh
What is up with these guys in skinny jeans. These guys don’t work outside to wear their gay skinny jeans lol
¿¿ American Eagle vs. Express Jeans....??? How 'bout they both suck.
