I don't care what anyone thinks of Russia! Their people are hardy, brave and dedicated. My love and respect to you and your incredible Country. This is an awesome project.
Americans have been indoctrinated to think all Russians are Soviet communists. I never met a single communist in Russia. 99 percent of the people I met were kind, gracious, warm, loving, friendly and openly welcoming. Their young children were invariably open and friendly with excellent manners. Only once at a family dinner did I witness two ten years old boys engage in a heated argument. When I inquired as to the reason for the argument I was informed by the one boy's mother they were arguing over who had a right to sit next to me. I settled the argument by asking the lady to my right to relinquish her seat so I could have a lad on either side. Instant peace and smiles.
Beautiful Musk Ox, I'm grateful for protection and people who sacrifice their life to research and brings these animal from the brink of extinction , Good Job
We are not the only creatures in the planet. Humans are selfish, trashing the planet with trash, plastics and some very dangerous chemicals, affecting all animals.
I liked it.Even tho i am 41 years old i am still learning something new.I didnt musk ox had to get reproduced because of extinction.Big ups to those scientist and filmers to bring us this content on one of the coldest places on earth.Good docu thanks 👍
People/families working together rather than against each other. If only the rest of the civilised world/ we could follow the lead of these people. Respect.
It's truly the great privilege for us to enjoy watching & admire this singular, informative & edifying doc. as regards the musk ox associated w/ those tough people surviving in such an incredibly extreme region of the world. Furthermore, it is infinitely priceless & invaluable to be able to appreciate this rare superlative & tantalizingly sublime documentary on UA-cam for free. With no qualms, I'd willingly bestow my highest kudos upon all concerned in the production.,,, I wonder if anyone else feel the same?!,,,,(12/02/22)
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Enjoyed viewing the musk oxen/reindeer/other species of arctic animals. with in their native environment.. 😉. Nice to know veterinarians & assistants care for those different species of animals.
For what it is worth it makes me so very happy to know that there are people like you all are out there doing the things that you all are doing. this is one of the most beautiful comebacks in the world and this really moves me to see this happen. I personally thank you for the work that has to be done in order to help the growth survival of the musk oxen thank you from Michigan USA and a big hello.2/22/2022. 1:15 PM.
@@mortalclown3812 They only showed us when the weather was nice, not when for weeks you see nothing but gray skies, day after day and it is over -60F and you better have a big and heavy metal (3 meters or longer) rod to break the ice to get some water or use it as a fishing hole! I do not want to do that again, never!
What a breathtaking & fascinating this doc.about Musk Ox w/ humans in Siberia is! It is staggeringly mesmerizing, magnificent & majestic!! It simply shows us to witness & discern how different, intriguing, & even enigmatic our planet is depending on the different regions. Besides, it also discloses how clever & tough our living beings, humans & animals, are as well as how capable of those animals & humans are in terms of their adaptability living in such an extreme tundra that could dip into -70-72C??!! Finally, I'm totally in deference to those people who had partaken in this rare & singular doc.,i.e., the photographers, sound men including that effective background music, editors, & the producers inclusive of an effectual script writer & narrator. But my special highest kudos to those photographers who must have spent well over one year in the face of such adverse & sometimes dangerous conditions. Regardless, they all deserve a huge pat on the back. Greatly grateful & gratified to the fullest,,,,,From the warmer California even at the end of Nov.2022,,,,,(11/30/22)
What a superb documentary! Congratulations to your successful re-introduction of the musk ox in that part of the world. Breathtaking cinematography, beautiful music. It was sheer joy to watch! Continue your good work!
Great documentary! The artic tern landing on the camera and his head was hilarious! It made me think of a time when a bird pooped on my cousins head and it was very funny! 😂
What a great documentary. Musk Oxen really are prehistoric looking beasts. Those horns, the hump, and that huge mane of a coat. And the fact they're so different, a mix between cow and sheep. But very fascinating.
This was a very good video. I love the outdoors, fishing & hunting. So whenever I see something with wildlife in it, it makes this old man feel good. Thanks for sharing this educational video.
Successful reintroduction of the Musk ox in Rusia. Interesting and beautiful creatures, along with the fauna and flora of the place (what a beauty of flowers as well). Thank you very much.
Great!,,, i heartily appreciate to all the members of this such a great task to increase and preserve the Beautiful & mighty giant “Musk Ox”!... this so amazing....hope your such a hard work won’t go in vain!... thank you all!...
Phenomenal documentary!! I congratulate these two men for such an amazing document. Let's hope there is a bright future for all the animal that inhibits this unforgiving land.
Beautiful creation of the Almighty. They deserve to be protected and given chance and space to thrive. A beautiful documentary by the hardworking team.
A wonderful programme. Very interesting not just the Oxen but all of the wildlife especially the massive herd of Rain Deer. Looks like a Wonderful but cold adventure. I had to wonder if when the Oxen shed there coat does anyone collect the hair to weave material? I'm sure other Animals use it for bedding in their home's Thanks to all those making the effort to help these animals come back and those making the Documentary. Good job.😁
Beautifully shot, thank you crew for allowing nature to speak to us through your lens. Best documentaries including the "Alone with wolves" .... Superb, thank you. Love, love, love it.
That "fleece" is Qiviut and makes the finest yarn. Sweaters made from Qiviut are the warmest of sweaters allowing moisture to escape. In Alaska the natives pick Qiviut rubbed on on the Willows. By weight it is more valuable than gold.
Thanks and respect to the people who made this incredible beautiful document. The babies are insanely adorable with formidable protective parents. ❤from Canada.
Fantastic!! I would have thought with such a small population base genetic diversity would be an issue, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for producing this!
Really enjoyed watching & learning about these beautiful animals & the environment they inhabit thanks for putting yourselves out there to show the world😊
Wonderful effort by Russian Govt. And it's dedicated team of professionals who are taking painful and long term measures to sustain the ecosystems of the Tundras. Salutations❤❤❤
fantastic documentary, thanks for posting. I like the behind the scenes life of the film makers as well as the nature shots. Soundtrack was outstanding, it sounds so much better when indigenous instruments are used to give a local flavour (mouth harp twanging away)
I'm glad and grateful to see replenishment programs like this! Hopefully some program will get behind you with support to enable you to get a tracked vehicle to get back and forth with.
It's so lovely to see our gift thriving in Russia. I was told they were aggressive from inbreeding the 30, but they seem to have the same temperament as the stock on Banks Island.
What a wonderful video. Excellent photography. It is amazing to see such beautiful wilderness and arctic type animals. It was an extraordinary expedition, glad we have the technology to see this project
Wowed by the success of the experiment. Thumbs up to the Russian scientific community. Beautiful animal and wonderful effort by humans for their rehabilitated environment. Thanks a lot.
The poor musk oxen are so afraid of humans that they flee at the mere sight of them. The babies are just adorable, bleating with a sound reminding me of sheep.

so says most of the world, who sees a big difference between a Russian and a Kremlinoid
Why would any sane person hate Russians because of a choice their Goverment has made? Talk about bigoted!
