Girl braids are better than botox 🤣🤣🤣. I think Coach offers so much especially with recent trends that it's easy to find your space and pieces with the brand. I'm definitely a Coachie too. TFW and TFS ❤️
I’m a bonafide Dooney & Bourke lover. Will not and cannot convince me to purchase another brand. I love the accessories, style range, color selection, leather selection and the feet of their bags. My oldest D&B is 16 years old and in mint condition 👜❤

I’m not a brand loyal person because, as you mentioned, quality and other issues are across all brands. My favorite leather is pebbled leather and my favorite silhouette is the domed satchel. Therefore, I gravitate more to D&B. However, I am looking to add pops of color and different silhouettes, which has brought me to Coach (Tory Burch and Marc Jacobs too) lately. Coach is definitely more accessible in my area. You made a lot of awesome points in this video. TFS❤❤❤

Dooney Addict here...I've never been much into trends so the frequent drops are often a distraction for me and puts a question mark on Coach quality for me. I'm a fan of Coach accessories because they have far more variety, but as for bags, I will take a classic Dooney style with iron clad leather any day over Coach. Did I just admit to living in one camp and frequently visiting the other😂🤔🫣 Great video!
I totally get it and I agree!! Dooney quality is so consistent but every now and then Coach drops a little something that catches the Dooney Divas eyes. We can't help crossing brands sometimes. It's nice to shake things up! I appreciate you watching and sharing 😊 ❤️
I absolutely love both but Coach wins in creating newer styles at great prices. I would love to see DB come out with more. Also DB needs to put out more outlet stores! I hate that it’s mostly online and only in a few department stores that only keep limited varieties. Great comparison video! ❤👜😊

I love Dooney and Bourke handbags because of the quality, craftsmanship, and a variety of different silhouettes, aldo that darn Duck 🦆 😂😂Coach handbags are trendy . And they do pop out with a variety of styles and a variety colors. But I’m not a person who follow trends. I only have 1 Coach handbag in my collection but trust me there will be a Coach City tote and a Coach Tabby in my collection. And I will see how Coach handbags really hold up. But Dooney and Bourke has my heart❤❤❤. Great video 😊

I enjoyed hearing your preferences and learning why. It is no surprise, my elderly self prefers Dooney. I can’t really say why. Something about that darn duck 😂. You touched on a few of the reasons (no distinction between outlet and retail, quality, craftsmanship). I think I just like the “town and country” equestrian look Dooney provides. I have been drawn to a few Coach and Patricia Nash bags items that give me that same feeling. Handbags have so much variation in style, price and materials it is no wonder some gravitate to one brand or another. The diversity is what makes it great. Great topic! You look sensational. For me, Coach designs feel more versatile and current too. They somehow manage to stay fresh while offering something for everyone.
As for Dooney, I totally get what you’re saying-many of their styles seem to cater to a specific taste, but I still like some of their bags.

Coach, I have always loved the quality. Been a Coach girl since 1983! Still have my very first one (1983)!!! Never owned a DB. Just wasn’t my thing.😂

Hi Sis! Love the braids! Whew, I’m glad you asked this question. I’ve always been a Dooney girl..since high school in the late 90s. My Dooneys are near and dear to my heart for different reasons. However…in the last year, Coach has been catching my eye due to their trendy, cute styles. I have a Coach outlet store super close to my home and it’s easier to just go there vs ordering online. I appreciated how Coach offered Afterpay while Dooney (at the time) did not. I also like how Coach gives back to the community and has a huge presence on social media. Coach is a super fun brand since their recent rebranding and it makes shopping fun. However….i get more bang for my buck with Dooney. I can get the top leather Dooney for the amount (or cheaper) than I can get at Coach for the subpar leathers. I can not attest on the *new* Coach leathers and their longevity but Dooney has been consistent with their quality. I really hope that Dooney goes through a rebranding for their 50th anniversary next year. I would love to see more trendier bags in their collection.

Great Video! I'm definitely a Coach loyalist and as much I have admired other handbag designers over the years I could never bring myself to actually purchasing one! Coach has always had tons of classic timeless pieces. Their Leatherware and hardware is TOP TIER (debate with ya Momma! LOL) Even their signature canvas print is long lasting. I honestly have handbags in my collection I've had for more than 10years and still will get complimented when carrying those bags! That's not to say over the years there have been collections released and I'm asking WHY COACH? and Nope this is all wrong, LOL But in general Coach had staple, long lasting, timeless pieces. Another proof the heavy value many of the vintage items carry present day and on 2nd hand market channels. I can go on and on but will end with just saying, YES to COACH always and forever for me! Haha TFS~

First off, the braids understood the assignment. The skin, Sis, the skin screaming we drink water all day EVERY day and TWICE on Sunday. 😊 Now to the topic, Coach vs Dooney. I love the hydrangea print on D&B and every time I see an unboxing I think, the quality is beautiful. But I haven’t felt the urge to pull the trigger and buy one. I am old so I’m not sure if that is because I gravitate to contemporary styles but your points make SO much sense!!!!

Now for the bags, I LOVE Coach and I like Dooney quite a bit. Coach is fun but Dooney is also a classic brand. This is as hard choice. Dooney has that Florentine leather that’s amazing….while Coach has their staple pieces.
Still….Coach is my favorite.

That doesn't take away from their quality, but Coach provides so many options, colors, prints, sizes and styles to choose from. Definitely my favorite brand❤

I lovvvvve coach. Have since I was 13 and was gifted my first Coach bag. I had 1 DB bag in my early 20s. It was a purple mini satchel with the multicolor logo all over it. I loved it to death. Then the canvas started separating. Nowadays, I feel like DB is more matronly. I’m 37

Since I have bought coach and DB online in stores and at the thrift store / thrift store has the best deal and vintage pieces

I'm both a Dooney and Coach girl however I tend to gravitate to bigger bags in this monmy stage in life so due to that, I get my big bags from Dooney and my trendy bags from Coach. I also love Marc Jacobs. And yes, quality issues have gone drown across all brands in my opinion and would agree with you that some contemporary brands can certainly compete with some luxury brands.

I carried Dooney & Bourke back when I was in junior high, then by high school I'd started carrying Coach and I've never looked back....I do still love some of the classic styles of D&B but as someone in my 40s I just prefer Coach styles over most others because of the variety
SN: love the braids and I'm so happy when I see females without "baby hair" hanging out stuck to their foreheads....it's a way to not leave hair out and still retain your edges and healthy hair overall with a protective style.....just beautiful skin also

I have about 20 Dooney’s and I just purchased my first ever Coach last week and another one this morning. I also own a couple of Micheal K. To me Dooney screams sophistication 😂,the feel and quality is top notch. I really think I’m going to enjoy the two bags and wallets that I purchased from Coach.

Love this video sis I agree DB isn't keeping up with the trend at all like Coach. I wish DB would give us some new silhouettes that are trendy. I also agree with you on the quality DB does it every time with there leather and hardware. Im not one for signature but Coach isn't to bad depending on the color n style of the bag. DB signature isn't bad either there is something about the DB that I just don't mind on my bag but I do prefer bigger DB. 💚💚💚💚

You mean 25!!! You look amazing! I got my hair braided, too and love them! I prefer Coach, as well. I think their designs are more modern and they release vibrant colors. So Coach tends to catch my eye a bit more. I definitely appreciate D&B though. I think they made a strategic decision to remain classic and not take too many risks when it comes to newer designs. Agree that the D&B quality is better than coach overall (although coach prides themselves on delivering high quality goods, too). Either way you can't go wrong with either brand.

I love both brands but Coach's styles, colors, and frequency in dropping new and exciting designs beats Dooney hands down and even though I stand behind Dooneys leather over most Coach's leather, I must admit that Coach's designs are always frequently bringing out something new, I'm more drawn to Coach. 👑👸🏾👑Hey There Queen, those braid give you a Queen look and a Queen needs a Coach🙃I am a Coach girl, their glove tan leather is my favorite. Dooney is nice, I do like their pebble grain leather, but it is miss or hit with their florentine leather. I prefer my florentine leather to be a smooth and sometimes it is a combination of smooth and pebbled. Yes, Dooney can be a bit dated, I feel they need to rotate their designers and yes, I do have quite a bit of Dooney pieces. Although I do like most of Coach's designs, I feel they are fresh most of the time and they listen to the current direction of the consumer😎
