I always carry two additional bags in my bag: one is a foldable tote bag for groceries that doesn't occupy much space, and the other is a simple foldable clutch made of one layer material, so it doesn't take up any space either. That way, I don't need to carry my heavy bulky bag that holds my laptop and my documents and whatnot everywhere, I just pick a few necessary items that I put in my clutch (like my wallet, wipes, keys, phone, etc..) and I can leave my big bag behind in my car or in a locker, that way I don't carry unnecessary items to places they don't belong.
I have the LYXBAGS , Bastia, and Kelly pockets like you, and I agree that the buttons on the Kelly pockets are too prominent. I like the Bastia and Calvi for being relatively flat and not "cramped"!

When I worked , my handbag had everything but the kitchen sink. As a young mother I had to carry everything that was needed for a young child. The use of the handbag varies with the time and she of your life. Now that I am older, my handbag must contain only the essential and must be light weight. I have a problem with an area on my back that restricts the weight. A lady's handbag is an important piece of fashion. Thanks.

I basically have everything mentioned. I also have an emergency bag in my car that holds floss, lotion, deodorant & other things that come in handy. I do look forward to getting a handbag holder though. I always struggle with holding my bag on my lap because I didn’t wanna put it on the floor, or behind the chair I’m sitting. N yes u r right, though speedy B25 been around for awhile, it really holds during the winter or summer. Love my speedy b25 too! I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one HIDUPZ Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

Every item you mentioned here are in my bag including an umbrella, pen, safety pins, small note pad and a flat pair of sandals. (I know, i know! It's a bit much lol).

I also carry a good gel type writing pen, a Sharpie Marker and a small ( pretty ) notepad. I like using the clear cosmetic bags ( various sizes) to separate items, so one knows exactly what bag things are stored in. I keep a slightly larger one in my " Survival Bag " ( Nice tote bag) to hold the Deodorant, travel hair spray, extra comb, hair tie, hair clip, some bobby pins, as well as the hand lotion, eye drops, Band - Aids, A toothbrush and Travel size toothpaste. and a small manicure kit that is contained in its own zippered velvet case. It's important to have certain things with you , especially the Aspirin, lip balm, lipstick, a brow pencil, eyeliner pencil, small bottle of hand Sanitizer, tissue pack, Gum or Breathmints. I have a small clear zippered bag that holds those items, in my handbag. I don't go anywhere without my Water Bottle, lol. Great list , and thank you. I've been somewhere and a person needed a bandaid, or an Aspirin...and didn't have any of those things. My daughters would often sort of make fun of me for carrying all those things with me ...but now they do it too! I tried to explain to them when you're " Old School " you know that it's important to be prepared.

They sell roller balls for some fragrances also. Tom Ford has a few roller balls also. Check during holidays who knows what may be available.
