Just to give someone hope, 3 months ago I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids, ovarian cysits, and low egg reserve, I was told that I couldn't get pregnant naturally, that I needed to have a surgery to remove the fibroids and then do IVF with an egg donor, I did a lot of things to try and shrink them naturally and increase fertility, I prayed a lot and today I got a positive pregnant test, God is so Amazing!
I pray for all women who are struggling, remember, doctors treat, but God heals and he has the final word.

To anyone reading this who is currently pregnant with fibroids...YOU CAN DO IT!! It is amazing creating a positive community where we can uplift each other with this painful experience!! I had 3 small and 7 large fibroids from 2cm to 15cm causing a deformed bumpy pregnancy belly and agonising pain! In the moment, trust me I know its hard!! But when you will come out of it and have your baby you will realise how STRONG you are!! Trust me you will get through it!! You are already doing it 💕

@@reyesv05 I gave birth last year to a beautiful healthy baby girl. C section was no question because of the amount of fibroids. The pain has TOTALLY gone, but i feel the fibroids are still there. A year in now and my belly is still big (kinda like i was 4/5months pregnant) because of the fibroids. I can feel them when I press down. But no pain. Thank god! I have had an MRI recently and they have reduced in size but some are still pretty big. I am planning on removing them at the end of the year as I will have another baby in the future but refuse to go through that pain again!!! Join me on my channel as I will be talking about my operation when it happens, the healing, pain etc when it happens. And dont hesitate to keep in touch if you have any questions. I am more than happy to answer as I know how much of a difference it makes. I didnt really have anyone to ask or compare with. I used to search on the internet to see any similar stories but most of them were horrible and scary and not encouraging at all. So I am here if you need it 😘

I'm so happy to hear there are ladies with huge fibriods who got pregnant and delivered healthy babies. Doctors always scare you.. there is no chance bla bla...but there is always a chance 🙏

@@ma.kristelann2002 clean your body . I did change my diet . I have 2 fibroids 5cm . If you want to get preheat start with green juice and fruit every morning, drink plenty of water , avoids sugars and sodas . Not red meat . Add more grains abs vegetables to your diet and sea food .

Hi DaShanna! I came across your video this morning. And you just don't know how much of a blessing you've been to me during this 17 minute 8 second video. Many people near and dear to me had Sickle Cell Disease- including my mother. So hugs and love to you on dealing with that. I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant and I have multiple fibroids. My largest one is 13 cm and like yours, it's on the left and it's outside of my uterus. I can feel mine as well and I can also see the bulge in my stomach. It doesn't hurt- thank God. I have another smaller one (7.1 cm) on my lower right side. That one degenerated a couple weeks ago and I was in excruciating pain! I prayed and asked God to take the pain away. And He did. I just want to thank you for making this video. I was worried, because my fibroid started out at 10 cm, but grew 3 cm in less than one month. But God has me and my baby in His hands. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing update videos from you! And I pray that your labor is smooth sailing.

I hope that I can reach at least one person by sharing my stories and experiences! YESSSS I know exactly how you feel, I was floored when they said mine was so large! I do know they can grow since the uterus is growing but that also means they have the ability to shrink back down! Honestly during pregnancy, labor and delivery they caused no problems and the only time they were mentioned when I had my daughter was afterwards when they were explaining to each nurse not to mistake it for the top of my uterus! I'm also 13 weeks and just found out my uterus is full of them and the biggest measuring 8cm. Had so much pain and surprisingly the pain just went away. They say that it will probably come back. I'm so nervous but I wish you many blessings in your bundle of joy.

I have a few small fibroids which were growing rapidly during the first trimester causing bleeding and cramps…I did my research and realised that they were fed by dairy products so I cut out dairy from my diet and swapped to soya and almond milk, reduced eggs and within a week my symptoms reduced and the fibroids had stopped growing at the next scan. I made sure to supplement the lack of dairy with the pregnancy vitamins and B12.

Thank you for sharing your story! I needed to hear it. I’m 17 weeks pregnant and I just found out two days ago I have a large 10cm fibroid. I’ve been trying not to stress, but it’s hard not to. I’m getting another ultrasound in 3 weeks so we can better understand the location and situation of it. I’m kind of thinking that it might be on the outside of my uterus like you, because my period have always been easy going and very regular. I’m also having a girl!
I’m thankful that I found out about the fibroid because if I hadn’t gotten pregnant I would never have known. I’ve been researching a lot and learned that vitamin D and iodine deficiency are both linked to fibroids. It makes sense because I know I was deficient in both. They are both important in keeping our hormones balanced.

I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant with a 13cm fibroid at the top of my uterus (not in the cavity). I’m experiencing so much pelvic and abdominal pain it’s insane. My husband and I are so nervous due to this happening so early in the pregnancy. My OBGYN also referred me to a high risk doctor due to the fibroid. We’re praying everything goes well since we have a while to go. Please keep us in your prayers! This pain is the most difficult ever!

11cm×10cmx9cm fibroid. Periods have always been pretty decent.Having some pelvic pain this week, getting better. Husband trying not to make me laugh, but man he cracks me up. Baby is 10wks, heart strong, waving, and dancing. I had a miscarriage early this year at 8wks. I really hope to meet our baby this upcoming April, lost so much this year. We want this to happen so badly, afraid to tell anyone. I am so ready to be a mom.

I too have fibroids...5 to be exact and the largest one was 10cm in size... it has shrunk down to 8cm now tho.... my fibroids are in the wall of my uterus... so far my baby is doing well and he’s growing...he’s 1lb and 14oz now 💙🤗💙🤗.... due to my fibroids I am measuring at 36 weeks 😳 (crazy I know) I’m just happy and thankful to God to be pregnant at this point and that he is healthy so far🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾... I can’t really complain so far about my pregnancy other than the worry with not having control over what my body is doing or will do.... I am starting to feel some pressure not sure if it’s pelvic pressure or round ligament pain as this is my first pregnancy and all new to me lol... can’t wait to binge watch the rest of your videos.... Did you experience any pain or discomfort at all due to your fibroid even with it being on the outside of your uterus? And has it shrunk in size at all since having your baby? Awww you’re welcome Tiffany, thank you so much for watching!!! I appreciate you sharing your story as well! I wish you a healthy pregnancy and a positive labor/delivery experience when the time comes. Ooooof I remember that pelvic pressure, it took me by surprise but I just kept reminding myself that my body was doing everything it needed to do in order to prepare for baby girls arrival! That gave me comfort/peace when I needed it most, lol! It is definitely about time for me to make an updated video for sure regarding my fibroids. Thanks for your questions. Yes, I do believe they have reduced in size since having my daughter but due to Covid, I haven’t had any in person appointments or ultrasounds to check for sure.
About a week or two after delivery I would get these sharp pains (usually in the morning/after laying down for a while) and I’m convinced it was the fibroids adjusting in there as the uterus began to shrink back down. Luckily that didn’t last too long. That was super uncomfortable 😣

Very curious how things went for you! I’m currently in my first trimester with fibroids in my uterine wall. I’ve been so nervous they will effect my pregnancy and there is just not a lot of information out there. I’d love for updates from you so that I have some hope!
Things went well! My labor was 24 hours in total. I labored for 9-10 hours at home, then another 11 hours before I got an epidural! I had the most intense back labor. I gave birth to a beautiful 8 lbs baby girl and overall my birth experience was a positive one.

I'm a 37 year old white woman. Just found out I have a fibroid measuring 21cm. My mom also has fibroids, but they are small. Mine is inside my uterus. They think it's a good chance that it's cancer and they want to give me a hysterectomy. I don't have any children, and I always wanted a baby. I have to make the choice whether to remove just the fibroid, or my whole uterus. I am devistated.

Baby and I are doing find & fibroids are still here with us .. one is now at 19cm that takes up the left side of my belly & baby is on the right. Another is blocking my birth canal so I will be having a c section. I’m remaining calm & positive and I can not wait to meet baby girl oh yes I’m having a girl. I just want to say thank you all your videos gave me such a better mindset with this journey I’m on. I think my largest one was the size of a large grapefruit or maybe a softball. I had a lot that were close in size.. I think I forgot to mention that my mom had them really bad. She suffered with them through her entire early 40's before she passed @ 47 of lung cancer. Hers were huge as well & very symptomatic. Mine were just symptomatic. I guess looking back @ my moms experience with them, Im glad that I took the route I did. Thank you for making this video & of course I would love a part 2. I work in a blood bank and get blood ready for sickle cell patients. It's a difficult condition and I which there was more education on genetic testing for people who wants to eventually have children.

Not only black women… I had this convo 2 years ago with an OBYN.. she said no worries, they are harmless 😒😒😒 well I’m 22 weeks along and in excruciating pain, not to mention it is on top of my cervix making impossible a vagi al delivery and a horizontal c section .. so wish I had listened to my mother 🤦🏻♀️

Your fibroid is HUGE! I’m so happy you and the baby are fine! Here I am stressing about my 5- 2-7cm fibroids. I did have contractions at 23 weeks but I was also told my fibroids were not inside the uterine cavity. Most of mine are on top and in back, is what I was told.
You definitely have the right to feel however you wish about your fibroids. Yeah - mine was massive and I am so grateful that everything is just fine :-) CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy! I wish you the best (most positive) labor/delivery experience!

I have a 10cm fibroid on the outside of my uterus and don’t experience any symptoms, but would like to conceive in the near future. A specialist told me that although it’s not inside my uterus, that it could rob a baby of proper blood flow. Did your team of doctors express similar concerns?

So my care team did mention this not as a concern for me in particular but just more of what could potentially happen (I asked all the questions and “what if’s” Lol)!!!
They made sure to keep an eye on it throughout my pregnancy with hopes that neither one would become a problem and if they did see issues in the horizon due to their findings they could catch it before anything became dangerous. We are so blessed that in my case, although they grew and got bigger along with my uterus, they didn’t cause any problems, impact the space baby had to grow/develop or affect blood flow.

This is so enlightening. I just had a TVS after a miscarriage and was told I had a subserosal fibroid on the left side measuring 5cm. Never knew all through the 7weeks of pregnancy it was there.
However, I’m not sure if to go on conceiving and later address the fibroid after birth or address it now. Im hearing that they grow during pregnancy

That is true, fibroids can grow during pregnancy due to things like the increase in hormones and blood. Even if I had remembered my fibroids before pregnancy, they likely wouldn’t have done anything with them. For me they were outside the uterus, weren’t causing any issues and didn’t affect fertility. I would for sure ask all your questions now to your care team and figure out the best course of action in your case if you wish to become pregnant down the line. Currently recovering from a laparoscopic myomectomy. 7.5 cm, 158 grams, intramural on the top of my uterus. I plan to have kids in a couple years.
I'm think my surgery will ease my cycle pain. And keep my fertility easy and natural. my doctor said the fibroid was so big and heavy it was suppressing my uterus. So I'm hopeful I did a necessity and will have a positive outcome.

Very informative. I am 21 weeks pregnant. It is our first pregnancy and I have a huge 10 cm fibroid at the top right of my uterus and another one measuring at 6 cm at the bottom of my uterus. My daughter was in the NICU for 102 days. My son was in the NICU for 185 days. They were in 2 separate hospitals. Six procedures later my family of 4 is home together. First of all thank you for sharing your journey, there aren’t many videos about fibroids in pregnancy. It’s good not to feel alone! Dr. has recently found 10 cm fibroid at the top of my uterus, I’m 11 weeks now. My question is, my upper belly feels firm all the time and is larger since getting pregnant. I wonder if it’s the fibroid pushing my intestines around. Did you experience this?
Hey Sarah! My tummy was firm where my large fibroid is located also during pregnancy. Not sure what your fibroid is affecting on the inside but that’s a great question to ask at your next appointment. Also figure out if your fibroid is inside or outside of your uterus (if you haven’t already). My babies have been on the bigger side so later in pregnancy I definitely felt like there was no room left inside 😂🤣

Yes girl, YESSSS!!!! I looked further along than I was my entire pregnancy. People kept asking “you sure it’s just one” and of course all the “you’re so big” comments! It was a lot to handle each time someone said something but I just always reminded myself that 1) everyone and their body is different, don’t compare yourself or let anyone make you feel badly because…2) your body is doing a miraculous thing in growing, providing a safe environment and nourishing your baby! This is your super power - Everyone else is just all talk honestly! Lol 😂 You got this mama, and you look BEAUTIFUL while doing it 💜
My wife is pregnant with our first child and she has a fibroid located exactly at the place where C Section is to be made. Worried if the baby can be delivered normally. Also I have heard removing the fibroid during c section is risky because it is more vascular during pregnancy and puts the mother at risk. Also the risk of placenta rupture in the next pregnancy. So worried. Please drop me some advice if any. Bdw how did it go ? God bless you.
You have valid concerns! For me and my situation they didn’t want to do a cesarean due to my existing blood condition and other risks that come with that procedure. I would make sure your care team knows your concerns and get 2nd and 3rd opinions if necessary. I delivered vaginally at 39 weeks 5 days after 24 hours of labor and a epidural at hour 20. All went well and I still have the fibroids - although they’ve reduced in size they weren’t causing any issues so we left them alone! We have already been to the emergency room due to the pain and she is currently on medication to dull the pain. She has experienced some cramping and somewhat heavy bleeding lately. We have been to doctors to check on the baby, and they say everything is still okay. Did you have pain with your fibroid? I have to go to L&D yesterday because of pain, they believe I have a fibroid that it was not visible in the ultrasounds. But all the symptoms were those of a fibroid.
I have to contractions and they keep me there to stop those contractions and sent me home with medication to stop them until baby is ready to come.
I have never hear of fibroid so it was a shock and a release because finally after weeks we found out what is going on.
Carolina I am so glad you were able to find out what was going on with you! I didn’t even know I had fibroids until I got pregnant and had my first ultrasound! I didn’t have any pain with them until the 3rd trimester and I just believe that was due to there being such limited space inside my body at that point. My daughter was 8 pounds when born and the fibroid was 18 cm at the time of delivery. Sometimes we don’t know or hear of things until it happens to us! I’m so glad you were able to find this video, I hope it was helpful. Now that you know, definitely research and ask all your questions no matter how many to your care team and ask for a second opinion if you feel it necessary! I didn’t feel pain exactly just pressure and discomfort when I was in my final weeks of pregnancy because there was just no room left in there. I would definitely let your care team know. I know that with pregnancy the increased blood flow and hormones can affect the fibroids. I am definitely praying for you and that this pain subsides! 💜

I would say to first find out which type of fibroids you have/where they are located. I had them and didn’t know and was able to get pregnant pretty much immediately. Some fibroids do don’t even effect conception. Secondly, stay encouraged and remain positive. Protect your peace and remove the stress! Hi there, I completely understand how you feel. Many fibroids are there but don't do anything...have no affect on us or our pregnancies. As long as you request that they continue to monitor it & YOU, I would say trust their words and try not to worry. IF YOU DON'T FEEL OKAY, or start to notice new issues - let them know immediately

Sounds like you are very very early in your pregnancy experience. I would call your care team if you can and let them know what you’re doing. They likely may not see you in person for a few more weeks. I can’t speak to the normalcy of this because everyone is different but successful pregnancies happen often! My biggest fibroid is 8 cm. It's in between my uterine muscle. I had a lot of issues with heavy periods. I really thinking of trying to get pregnant, take my chances and take it from there. I really don't want to have surgery ☹️

No spotting for me during my pregnancy. I only get some sharp discomfort in the 3rd trimester because there wasn’t much room left at that point
