Hi! I’ve been following you since early 2023 when I found out I was pregnant. I do have 2 fibroids-1 @4cm and 1 @9cm & both are outside of my uterus. The one at the top was definitely sticking out during my pregnancy lol. I gave birth vaginally in Nov 2023 to a beautiful 8 lbs 8oz baby girl! But my question is - did your OB ever recommend removal?
Awwww yay!!!! Thanks for being here and congratulations to you!!!! My doctors never brought up removal to me but I asked. I asked after my first pregnancy to see if I needed to if I wanted more children then I asked again when I was pregnant with my second. What I learned is that many folks who want or need fibroid removal have to really advocate for themselves to do it. Sounds like doctors don’t do it super easily if it’s not necessary. In my case, they don’t cause me any problems and could likely create more problems for me. I know every case is different and it all depends on each persons experience, symptoms, medical history, etc
