Hi , quick video on how to remove replace change Headlight bulbs lamps in 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 Nissan Versa High beam, low beam and turn signal
Also works on the Versas little brother, the Nissan Micra. Much easier than it looks, video is a huge help for those unfamiliar with modern foreign cars (like myself)!
Excellent! I changed my 2014 Nissan, my PINS did NOT work like this. They do not unclip at the bottom, it comes unlatched at the TOP and swings off. If you can’t get the pins out or they do not squeeze-squeeze the top to release it from behind the latch it will swing like a door. Thankfully I could feel the latch because I damn sure couldn’t see it. Add this to my resume!! Thank you 🎉
Thanks for the instruction video 😁 The rubber on mine was on there like rubber glue 🤪 but finally got both sides off. FYI both my low beams went out & of course the internet, auto part employees, mechanics & people in general will stress you out, they did to me & say it's the relay, switch, fuses & something electrical & you need a new engine just over a light bulb 😜 They want that money 🤑💰 It's rarely any of those problems unless it's a very older car. I did check fuses & of course that's not it, changed bulbs & the low beams work now. Neither bulbs look blown, so I don't think you can always go by that either. I always suggest just change the bulbs 1st. They are very inexpensive & you can always return them if it's not that. But for me it's always been the bulbs on the car, NO they don't last for ever.
Thanks, I have a 2012 Versa hatchback, it is a tight space for the hand, this should be as easy as you showed . . . if the damn clips would come off. For both lights one would come off easy, but the other would not come off no matter how hard I pushed and cursed. I ended up fashioning a tool, cutting off a toothbrush head, and putting a groove on the end, so I could get the leverage to get it off. Then I gave up trying to get both clips on, seemed pretty tight with on clip . . .
Thank you!! I have a 2013 Nissan Versa SV and the bulbs need changing because my drivers side high beam light is out and I was stopped twice in less than a month because of it so I'm changing both because the way my luck runs the passenger side will go out LOL
At all costs, do not remove the hinge/metal pins, I spent the last hour and a half trying to insert them again because I found it difficult to remove the rubber piece by itself. Whatever you do, remove the rubber piece first and THEN deal with the rest.
It definitely worked the only problem I ran in to is putting the rubber piece back on. The rubber doesn’t fit around the bulb or the bracket piece because the bulb is to big what should I do
I had the same case. It is only 1 bulb containing both low and high beam. If you looked at the bulb closely, you can see that there are 2 light wire intact. Near the tip of the bulb was the low beam and the other 1 was the high beam. Either of the 2 was busted you need to replace the whole bulb for your own convience.
Nice, clear video, except the clips on my car are different and mounted vertically so the clasp is virtually impossible to see. Here are links to the picture I took (my head wouldn't fit in the space I got the phone/camera). I found pressing down on the two wire elbows and sliding it to the side worked best. @t these elbows: @t
Great video. Looks so straight forward. Until you try to do it without a USB camera. Nissan has made the simplest of maintenance tasks nearly impossible to implement. Very hard to see the spring mechanism. More than difficult to get tools near the spring retainer. And you have to get all the spring move exactly right or you are not getting the bulb out. This epic design failure guarantees I will never own a Nissan vehicle ever again.
thanks for the demonstration..it always makes it so much easier to watch it done before i attempt it .Thank you
This is a great help. My light bulb needs replacement and I just replaced it myself hehe thanks to you sir 👍🏻
Super helpful! Now I'm confident I can replace the bulb myself. Appreciate this!
That was a very clear explanation on how to change a lightbulb. Thank you and God bless you
Thank you Nissan for not making me go up through the wheel well making it a huge headache just to change a darn light bulb.
Best visual I've seen, good camera angle showing view of connector. Thanks
Thanks for dumbing it down for the rest of us dummies... I wish you were my mechanic. Very nicely made!
The Latio and the Versa seem to be the same thing. I'm trying to change them to something brighter. your video helped a bunch.

Thanks you for the demo! What year is the Versa in the video? I have a 2014 and the mechanism holding the bulb in place is a little different.

Sorry mate, the last light is not the turn signal..
Can I replace my bulbs with LEDs? I want to know what size and conversion kit to get.
