Hello Nobbel87, i want to thank you for all your Lore videos, i've learned so much about WoW from your videos you are one of my favourite UA-camrs, and i always watch your videos when i want to learn about what quests and what i am doing in WoW.
you do some great facts and history for WoW I love your stuff. Lorewalker Cho in that story was great, he sounded like so sarcastic about the bronzebeards and wildhammers lol
Notice when you play him in HotS, he says when interacting with Thrall (Voiced by Chris Metzen): "Isn't Falstad dead?" He also says "have you seen the red shirt guy? He've been watching me..."
That Blizzcon nerd reminds me of Chris Farley when he does that skit where he interviews celebrities. "Um remember that one time you did that one movie?....That was awesome."
'after the elf and dwarf had been fooled' [Veressa] Well, my sisters did say my hair looked like sand. [Falstad] Ay lass. that it does. [Veressa] Huh, 'picks up a suit case labled "Warlords of Draenor content" Falstad, What's this? [Falstad] oi looks like a big ol' lie ta me lass 'muffled' 'crickets'
Hello Nobbel! Thank you for all the great lore video's. After looking at your full lore list i haven't seen the one i like to hear about, that is the Stormwind Assassins. Resently i have joined the rogue only RP-PVP guild on Defias Brotherhood EU and i have been looking in to some of the lore becouse of the RP aspect. Now i have seen that is a really big story and i like to hear this from my favorit story teller. Thanks and keep up the good work.
I'm a bit perplexed at the direction of dwarf lore. Blizzard seems to have a real hard on with trying to make the Dark Irons seem like some sort of victims that only ever wanted to be loved and cuddle. Seriously hope the Bronzebeards and Wildhammers have much more of a lore focus in WoD,but I doubt it.
Devon Brown And then we'll probably get more scenes of the worst fucking lore character in a long time, Moira. Seriously, I can't understand how we're supposed to actually like her, she lead a violent assault on Ironforge and we're just supposed to forget about that? I hope they give us some scenes about the tensions between the clans, because now it just seems that Blizzard is making the Bronzebeards and Wildhammers seem like paranoid assholes, when in all actually, they simply don't trust the group that tried to wreck their fucking city.
They are probably preparing for the "sub-races" idea mentioned on Blizzcon. They gave no specific answer, as they usually never do, but there is no reason why not to allow players to be brown orcs or dark iron dwarves. And when they implement it, it will not just pop up suddenly, but will probably have story surrounding it.
Mazzmaker69 she helped Varian... once... That hardly qualifies her as a saint. It also helps if when Dark Iron dwarves become playable people won't look at them as evil mogrels but as sort of allies. I am more concerned about what Blizzard is doing with Sylvanas, because now that Cairne is dead and Thrall is neutral if they make the only half-decent Horde leader a villain I give up on the lore alltogether.
Wlarius Having playable Dark Irons won't do jack, Moiras still responsible for a violent assault on Ironforge that got alot of Bronzebeards killed. I'm not looking at them as evil mongrels, they are evil mongrels. And dude, Lor'themar Theron is the best Horde leader. Personally,I think Sylvanas has gone down the shitter what with her being more and more like the Lich King. Can't wait for the knights of the Ebon Blade to put her under.
Dear Nobbel. You are the best, you single handly revived my world of warcraft account :) you made me lvl a hole new char and really go in to detail with lore and all that :) and for that thank u! thanks alot for all the great work u are doing and keep it up
Any blood elf characters up for consideration for the next video profile Nobbel? I'd love to hear a Lor'themar video or even a Lady Liadrin given her role in WoD and in light of the new info from Blood of the Highborne
Hey nobbell just wanted to say hi and let you know that I enjoy your lore videos a ton and wish you had a website or maybe a whole other channel for all of your lore videos. That would be amazing. Anyhow if you ever need footage from end game heroic content feel free to hit me up.
A minor mistake is that the book doesnt tell what happened to Nekros, though it does suggest that he was eaten or had been stomped by the Dragon Queen.
the demon soul was used which had taken power from all dragons except for death wing. the demon soul would be given to the orcs by death wing and then used to imprison alexstraza
Holy shit i did not know about Thargas, who he was before i got curious of the anvilmar family after this video. What a badass. I'd love to have him as a dwarven king.
Your videos are really informative of this game's lore for those who are in it for the roleplaying and those who just want to immerse themselves further than just the game itself.. However I've played the game for a while and I know they might've mentioned this in quests before.. but. During WotLK people would fly over Crystalsong Forest to get to Dalaran. However they don't give us a lot of information as to what's the story behind it. This may seem like a stretch.. but I'm just curious about this.
Hay Nobbel, I was wondering if Bolvar Fordragon is on your list of lore videos, if not I would really like to see it, the only time I've come across him is at the end cinematic for WotLK and I kept trying to remember where he was from, but I admit that I have no idea what he had done, nor what makes this ending so bitter sweet other than he is obviously known to the Alliance as a hero.
Highlord Bolvar Fordragon was the racial leader for the Humans while King Varian Wrynn was missing. He pretty much took charge since Anduin Wrynn, the king's son, was way too young to take the throne. IIRC, he was also a member of the Silver Hand Order, the human paladin's sect.
Hey, not sure if you'll see this but im wondering if the artifact is called Demon soul or Dragon soul? Im lisening to War of the Ancient atm (book 2, half way through as of now) and im pretty sure they say Dragon Soul in those. Also, do you have any answear to what order i should listen to the audiobooks that's out there? Hard to find an answear to that really. Found threads when googling it but on Audible it says a complete different order than that... Anyhow, love your work, and love that i have so much left to watch! :D keep it up LoreMaster Nobble! :)
Nobbel, kiiinda wish you'd do lore coverage for entire races sometime instead of just individuals from each. The individual route leaves some races woefully under represented, such as trolls and gnomes, while humans and orcs seem to have the lions share.
What is the matter with the other two big dwarven cities now? We cleared Blackrock Mountain of orcs (Rend) and fire guys (Ragnaros), and Grim Batol was also cleared in Cata. Shouldn't they be reclaimed for the clans now serving the Alliance?
Bartek N But Shadowforge City (or whatever its name) was populated by Dark Iron dwarves. We killed their king, but their queen is still loyal to them and serves as their representavie in the Alliance, with the heir. And the area surrounding the Mountain is also under Dark Iron influence, while Stratholme is in the middle of the Plaguelands still infested with undead, who are rather hard to exterminate.
Jeremiah Lynds dwarves build almost everything out of stone. How can it become uninhabitable? Also, those Dark Iron dwarves are not animals, they lived there. There are living quarters, banks and workshops still intact, unlike Stratholme, which was burned to the ground and infested.
Bartek N Eventually.. once it's relevant. After all, through the Argent Dawn's efforts, life has slowly but surely started to spread back through some of the Eastern Plaguelands. It may just be a matter of time. ... Unless the Forsaken decide to take the land for themselves, they pretty much own the land that was once Lordaeron.
the bronzebeards and the wildhammers did the right in not leaving Ironforge. From the short story of Kurdran as part of the council of three hammers we know that Moira is not as truthfull and honorable that Cho makes her out to be. She is wary of the repercusions from the alliance but she would without a doubt attempt to remove the other parts of the council and rule Ironforge on her own if she got her way.
Nobbel can the next lore video please be about Chromie?? :) I have searched high and low and cant find his story. Although I haven't read any of the novels. But, if you know his story please share. :)
I honestly adore the wildhammer dwarves. They're the only ones that actually hate being underground and fly around. And their blue tattoos are awesome :) And it seems like all the dwarven shamans are wildhammers as well since they all have blue tattoos.
Hello there Nobbel! I´ve been thinking about something for a while. How bout the story of Ironbeard? What´s his dark dilemma? He has shown up so many times during wow, just tought bout it when i flew past his tomb in Wetlands. "Ironbeard's tomb" i would find a lore about him very intresting. Thanks for all the great lore videos so far :)
"Moira Thaurissan would represent the Dark Iron Clan, Muradin Bronzebeard would represent the Bronzebeard Clan and Forgedaim Jenkins would represent the Wildhammer Clan" Or what I was hoping anyway
Hello Nobbel. I would like to say something about your lore videos. So let's begin, Shall I? Your videos are funny and very very interesting, the funniest part of it is that when i do quests while doing alts and i meet some characters that are part of the lore XD i search for them in your videos and listen to their story meanwhile doing quests with them, either they are the questgivers or objectives.
Seeing the Orcs on Red Dargons reminded me of the Netherwing quest chain/dailies. Have you ever did a lore about them or the Netherwing? I would like to know where they fit into story and what army they fought along side. Thx :)
Am i missing anything? Nobbel says that Ronin "destroys" the dragon soul with a scale from deathwing and restores the powers of the aspects. Then why dont the aspects still have their full power in cataclysm/ cant fight deathwing?
I would like to hear the lore of Malygos, and hear what actually would happen if he were not have gone nuts. Would the aspects still have their powers cuz kalecgos isnt malygos, malygos is way stronger.
Malygos actually went sane in Wrath. He had been nuts for 10,000 years and when he finally calmed down he saw how much the mortals were running around with magic unrestrained, and decided "I need to do something about this."
Hey Nobbel gr8 job on the vids m8, I was wondering if you could explain the lore of the Forsaken and Lordaeron and also a quick scope* on Sylvanas, thank you and keep up the good work.
hey nobbel i know you have talked a lot about illidan stormrage and there is a lot of material on youtube about illidan but i want you to do a video dedicated to him, with also the speculation of him being alive, explain how he could be alive, and how this could effect the story? could they possibly bring a demon hunter class if they bring him back? and what do you think he has been up too since he died? but last of all tell the story about illidan because you are my favorite lore teller and illidan is my favorite character in wow i would like it very much thanks nobbel i look forward to your videos every week.
Hes on of the council of three hammers (imagine it like trolls with different tribes but actually working together). They are based in ironforge if you need to check them out.
I really think now that the dwarven clans are united they are one of the strongest forces on Azeroth and they should've reclaimed their lost cities by now.. (Blackrock, Grim Batol, etc.).
How did the twilights hammer clan take over grim batol in Cata? They seemed to be absolutely everywhere- silithus, twilight highlands, thousand needles. After the events in day of the dragon, weren't there red dragons, hill dwarves, and wildhammer's protecting grim batol?
I completely forgot that the twilights hammer had once been part of the horde since they have been a nut job faction since deathwing and by extent the old gods have been running things for them.
You just Pay, select a the said character, select a spec (if you dont have one on that char) select a faction if you choose a panda, then click finish, let it process and done, log in, you have 486 ilvl and you can go to pre-SoO raids
If you're meaning how to use it then you can look to Blizzards youtube channel to guide you through that, however if it's a guide on certain classes then you should look to MikePreachWoW.
In this case there are many possibilities. For raiding you should start in ToT lfr then "progress" to SoO lfr and maybe into some flex raids if you're up for it. With classes, everyone tends to know their class because they had levelled it, so my suggestion to you is level that class to at least 60 to understand it properly and then just look at any new abilities gained and see if they fit into a general rotation; however you could say "screw that" and just boost then watch MikePreachWoW's videos to tell you what to do. Quest lines, hmm, I wouldn't bother with them as it would feel a bit more like a chore than anything; however if you really want to, talk to Wrathion for the legendary questline.
wait, why could thrall than fire the kame-hame-dragonsoul in the dragonsoul-instance, regarding the talk at 14~~, if he was immune, was it because they took the alternate dragonsoul in well of eterity that it is able to do it?
You forgot to say that ronin had a magic celphone like the one of kryll, so deathwing can see with his eyes and even control ronin... he gave it to him right before deathwing created a throne out of nothing... and food... and drinks... damit ronin had a drink with deathwing... thats badass
Nobbel question: In Warcraft 3, Muradin Bronzebeard was killed by the power of Frostmourne when Arthas took the blade from the ice it was buried in. So how did he come back? How did Muradin remain alive?
If you played all the wrath quests there's a holographic cutscene in a cave where you see muradin get up after getting cut down heavily wounded and forgot who he was. You first see his forgetful tail in the storm peaks though with the earthen
Nobbel at least do a lore video about Muradin. I would like to see your comments and your awesome talent of bringing those distant stories of Warcraft 3 and Wrath.
Hey Nobbel, great vid as always, and your videos have gotten me into such a lore nerd within my guild that i'm pretty much the lore master of my guild. Now with my knowledge of the lore i, like many people, like to make backstories for my characters. I have a night elf rogue named Raesera and my backstory for her is the one that worries me the most for some reason. Her story is that she's half dragon half night elf, and her mother is Ysera and her father was my original Druid i rolled when i was first joining WoW. My question is, "Does Ysera have a prime consort like her sister does? And do you think that someone like my rogue could exist?" I like to keep my characters within the realms of reality in WoW and it's been bugging me for a while. If you reply to this at all it would be amazing and keep up the awesome job on dem vids. :D
Jonas Rasmussen well that's interesting. But for some reason i like making a lot of my characters from the WOTLK era, probably because i joined WoW then. So yeah my character, from what you said, could've been possibly existed...that is if they can have kids with other races...and Raesera doest have any powers like Wrathion, the most she's got is that she's immune to poisons (i read somewhere that the green dragons can breath poisons or something) and she's really close to nature, but that could be from her father's side, i'm not really sure. So i've done my best to make her a non op character....i just want to know if she can actually exist. ps: thanks for that little fun fact about the dragons post cata though
Ysera's consort was Eranikus, before he got corrupted by the Emerald Nightmare and went insane. You can meet him in WoW in the Sunken Temple, where he is the final boss. I'm honestly not sure if a dragon aspect like Ysera could procreate with a mortal night elf, though. I guess it might be possible if enough magic was involved, but don't quote me on that. I know they say Drakonids are half-man, half-dragon, but I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to take that literally. They're not the offspring of a dragon and a mortal, I'm pretty sure.
i just hate it when people base their characters in main characters of lore.. that is just so lame and without imagination. in your rogues example, i get the dragonelf thingie but for elune's sake why Ysera?? Why not simply a green drake?
Red Shirt Guy is like the real life Broxigar, He outlored Metzen. Outloreing Metzen is like wounding Sargerus the I Titanic Demon.
+Zedi gan so true :P
+Zedi gan Who is Sargerus? The only one Brox wounded like that is Sargeras!
Kenji KJ it's a fictional character, I wouldn't get too upset about spelling

I love how Krasus just finds a way to appear in as many stories as possible
Hello Nobbel87, i want to thank you for all your Lore videos, i've learned so much about WoW from your videos you are one of my favourite UA-camrs, and i always watch your videos when i want to learn about what quests and what i am doing in WoW.

you do some great facts and history for WoW I love your stuff. Lorewalker Cho in that story was great, he sounded like so sarcastic about the bronzebeards and wildhammers lol
I can't believe how thorough the editing is on this video. It really paint's a picture for the great storyline.
Notice when you play him in HotS, he says when interacting with Thrall (Voiced by Chris Metzen): "Isn't Falstad dead?" He also says "have you seen the red shirt guy? He've been watching me..."
I love your passion about all things WoW, it clearly comes through in all your videos. Thank you for what you do!!

Literally the day after I was thinking to myself that Nobbel hadn't covered any Dwarf lore, he makes this video! :)
Love your videos dude, keep em coming!
2014 Nobbel's voice is so soft and airy this is an interesting discovery
Great video! Keep up the good work, Nobbel.
That Blizzcon nerd reminds me of Chris Farley when he does that skit where he interviews celebrities.
"Um remember that one time you did that one movie?....That was awesome."
Another amazing lore video Nobbel :)

Great video like always. Keep it up :D
They did mention that blackrock (our timeline) was going to be invaded by the iron horde. Maybe they are enslaving or kicking the dark irons out?
Devon Brown And then we'll probably get more scenes of the worst fucking lore character in a long time, Moira. Seriously, I can't understand how we're supposed to actually like her, she lead a violent assault on Ironforge and we're just supposed to forget about that?

It's bad when Chris Metzen, WoW's leading story developer, gets WoW lore wrong XD
I love you so much for doing this character!
Dear Nobbel.
You are the best, you single handly revived my world of warcraft account :) you made me lvl a hole new char and really go in to detail with lore and all that :) and for that thank u!
thanks alot for all the great work u are doing and keep it up
dwarves are just shorties looking to redefine the definition of badassery once more.
I love your lore videos, they are the best. Keep up the good work ^^
Hey Nobbel could you please make a video about the SI:7...I really love your lore videos and i would like to know more about that organization :)))

Nobbel, what is your favorite Dwarven Clan? Will we ever see videos on the three clans/council of three hammers?
Would love for you to do videos on all the dwarf clans.
i must say this one made me happy to hear more about a dwarf counter parts
Some heroes don't wear capes... they wear red shirts and a blank stare.
Holy shit i did not know about Thargas, who he was before i got curious of the anvilmar family after this video. What a badass. I'd love to have him as a dwarven king.

Hey Nobbel gr8 job on the vids m8, I was wondering if you could explain the lore of the Forsaken and Lordaeron and also a quick scope* on Sylvanas, thank you and keep up the good work.
I would love to see a lore story involving the Mograines or Kel'thuzad. I just love pre Naxxramas lore
Do a story on Rhonin and one on Grom
Dang! everybody like to fight. Can't we all just get along? lol
I think you forgot the human Paladin who sacrificed himself.
I'll ask again... Please do a video about Lor'themar Theron! I'm so curious about him! :)
hey nobble any thought on doing a lore video on Malygos and or Kalecgos

Yo Nobbel big fan! I searched through your videos and couldn't find a video about Sylvanas Windrunner lore, think you could do it?
Dayum, who was the lucky guy to get Alexstraza pregnant..Human form is pretty delicious.
Inb4 there is an image of the Harry Potter locket on 13:50. Come on man xD
I'd like a story off the bossess in Naxxramas like Gothik Thaddius Noth etc :)
What I think would be as good idea is go over the questline lore of each state in Pandaria in prep. for WoD...xP
Hi Nobbel! Great work on the vids, but i wonder wtf is the SI:7 and how did they show up in the world ?
I play horde no clue who he is
still gona watch
Hes on of the council of three hammers (imagine it like trolls with different tribes but actually working together). They are based in ironforge if you need to check them out.
I really think now that the dwarven clans are united they are one of the strongest forces on Azeroth and they should've reclaimed their lost cities by now.. (Blackrock, Grim Batol, etc.).
When you said raise a demon from the dead do you mean from the twisting nether? or can demons actually die?
it was in cataclysm, not pandaria
What about Muradin?
How did the twilights hammer clan take over grim batol in Cata? They seemed to be absolutely everywhere- silithus, twilight highlands, thousand needles. After the events in day of the dragon, weren't there red dragons, hill dwarves, and wildhammer's protecting grim batol?
I completely forgot that the twilights hammer had once been part of the horde since they have been a nut job faction since deathwing and by extent the old gods have been running things for them.
Have you done a video on Rhonnin yet?
Nope not yet!
That would be a rather long video. Think he was in five books till Golden axed him off in "Tides of war".
Georg Veramme
Sucks to get nuked.
***** Makes me regret having nuked the Overmind in Starcraft I....
Georg Veramme
It's okay, the Overmind cannot die from nukes.
Imagine your gryphon being like fuck this😂😂
i really love the dwarf lore! i want moooaaar!
Oh, Kurdran isn't just Falstad's friend! He's also his brother!
Hey Nobel now leavel 90 bost has came out can u do a guide on it
You just Pay, select a the said character, select a spec (if you dont have one on that char) select a faction if you choose a panda, then click finish, let it process and done, log in, you have 486 ilvl and you can go to pre-SoO raids
If you're meaning how to use it then you can look to Blizzards youtube channel to guide you through that, however if it's a guide on certain classes then you should look to MikePreachWoW.
Hey i am am not saying how to do but after that what to do what quest line?
Where to go? which raid should we do? from where to learn class? Nice vid
Why haven't Blizzard hired you or shown some support? Your videos are Grade A. You are a "Badass" at this Lore.
wait, why could thrall than fire the kame-hame-dragonsoul in the dragonsoul-instance, regarding the talk at 14~~, if he was immune, was it because they took the alternate dragonsoul in well of eterity that it is able to do it?
You forgot to say that ronin had a magic celphone like the one of kryll, so deathwing can see with his eyes and even control ronin... he gave it to him right before deathwing created a throne out of nothing... and food... and drinks... damit ronin had a drink with deathwing... thats badass
Having a Drink with DW, LK, Raggy, Illidan, Garrosh, Kil'jaiden, Sargeras, and any Old-God while playing Poker or Domino is the "True Badass"
Wait Deathiwng Immune to the Demon Soul.....but.....cataclysm ?
After the Aspects lost theire powers they also lost the ability to make children :)
Np mate :D
