We jump off them cliff when we camp up there .I caught a 16 inches at the bridge by the store and they have expensive tackle...
Hell yeah It's one of my families favorite spots! And yea I always try to stock up on tackle before I go down there

Headed up in the morning. the spot with 40 trout, do you go park at fisherman’s camp or do you go through the gate on the left side of the creek and head up? Sweet videos, if you ever want to hit some other local spots let me know, I just fished upper SJ near mono hot springs and it was crazy good yesterday!
You go through the gate on the left side of the creek and head all the way up to where you can’t drive anymore. It’s right across from some older outhouses. Hope you have some good luck today! And yeah that sounds fun, I’m always up to fish some new spots. Also thanks for watching!
I went today. There’s literally a school of 50 rainbows but they’ve been so overfished they didn’t take. I then used my fly rod and caught two. Thanks for the spot, great place during the week when normal folks are working 🤙🏼

Unfortunately I tried to go back to this spot a few weeks ago and this section of the lake is completely dried up right now. If you look up Dorabella campground that’s where this spot usually is
looks like you both had a great time. You must have ate 20+ trout that weekend. lol
Yeah it was one of my best trips by far! And we only kept 10 trout on this trip. We threw the rest back for next time!
What area were you at when you went to shaver lake? I don’t recognize it. Planning on checking out dinkey and shaver in a few weeks for a quick fishing trip with the kids
We were at Dora Belle Campground, it's down Dorabella Rd. You can pay to go in for day use and drive all the way down to the day-use area where there's parking and a bathroom. It was my first time there and it was awesome!
