Dang so scientific :) I just used 2 open end wrenches and it took me 15 minutes :)
Thanks for the upload! I'm going to tackle my hoses this weekend. 🔩🔧
Good luck!

Glad you liked it!
Very detailed 💪💪
Outstanding!
Thank you! Cheers!
What are the part numbers for the hoses I’m having trouble finding one of them
I called autozone and provided all info about truck and had hoses within a few hrs. IDK why you are having problems?
I just replaced my pump and high pressure hose on my 1993 Chevy Silverado 4x4 k1500 5.7
Im having a LOT of issues here!! PLEASE HELP ME?
I got the aftermarket hose, and it was difficult to thread in by hand...once the threads caught, I screwed it in 3-4 turns by hand before tightening with the wrench. HOWEVER! The leaking was happening from between the pipe and nut. Did I cross-thread?
If so, how would I fix this?!! Nightmare scenario at this point.
I'm bleeding $$ here... and I NEED my truck to make $$ and go to work!!
I've already been on this 3 days now...its ridiculous.
I got a new line- still having issues with new line and threads.
I thought I had seated the new line...it was secure. Not wiggly anymore...I filled up the fluid and purged the system of the old by disconnecting the low pressure line and bleeding it into a bucket. I move the steering wheel back and forth 20 times, and then after doing that reconnected the line, topped off, turned the wheel (still hard) and took it for drive down the road .25 mile. Steering still hard...
WHAT GIVES?!!!😭
No cutting on this video but it could have been about half the length. The repetition of certain points almost made me search for a different video on this repair. Being thorough is good but the drilling home of simple concepts isn't necessary being as anyone attempting this repair has at least picked up a spanner or two in the past.
